Kai is too cute, I’ve got a Boxer/Pit mix that rides with me everywhere in my tractor trailer every week for work. He’s the best companion. I rescued him 9 months ago
I absolutely love it when dogs are laying down and they cross their front legs, it’s so cute and Kai does it in the opening moments! Thanks for taking me along 🤗
Great video Hayley although I wouldn’t leave the dog just out in the plane certainly not the cockpit the back seats maybe. Cheers 🥂 great video as always! -Caleb’s Aviation
❤❤❤❤ what a beautiful dog what a beautiful lady keep on rocking get that playing flying and your boyfriend better be taking care of you lol have a great day lovely lady❤❤❤❤
Hayley…..nice video again. Love you, your dog Kai and your Beechcraft airplane. I had a malamute and she was wonderful also. Great landing. I love your location in Nevada, close to everything yet country. Merry Christmas and have a great New Year. Keep the flying videos coming.
I took one of our dogs flying in the cessna once. At first he sat in the back for the first 10 minutes, then he climbed over the seat and me. At one point he got scared and crawled back as far as he could from the right seat and started bumping the rudder pedals. That's when I dragged him out and threw him back in the back seat where he hunkered down for the rest of the flight. He was all happy once we landed and he got out of the plane.
A beautiful sight having your wing camera getting a shot of Debbie against the snowy mountains. Any ferry flights coming up in those beautiful Diamond airplanes?
Looks like you have a great furry little aviator. My wife and I have had many dogs over the years (mostly Australian Shepherds). Some of them really seemed to enjoy flying in my old Apache and later in my Cherokee. Just a word of caution... I got used to them sitting in the back seat and falling asleep. One day, I was taking off from a bumpy grass strip with Bandit (a 55 lb. Aussie) in the back seat of my Cherokee. Just after rotation, he got spooked and jumped into my lap in a very critical portion of the climb out! As I was wrestling with him to get him out of my lap, I was also wrestling with the control wheel trying to keep us from flying into the trees. I learned my lesson that day. After we were safely at a good altitude, I belted him to the seat and I don't recall ever flying with them again. Not his fault - but mine...
Your experience with Kai motivates me now to take my Vizla (66lbs) with me in my Van's RV-7A. He loves the car rides. He gets shoes to enter...is to big for a soft bag. I keep you posted.
Another great video! Is that a battery tender on the chair? Lol. I had the same set up only mine feeding a commanders battery😳 I still have her (Juliet ) but have since upgraded to a rolling tray 😎 Have fun on the ski trip!
Kai is awesome! Please secure him such that there is no chance he can impede your ability to fly the plane in an emergency situation. I have seen a video here on RUclips where the dog panicked and caused great stress for the pilot trying to land. Stay safe ✈️
Nice video especially over Tahoe Lake, you are in violation of F. A. R.; passenger Kai is required to have shoulder restraints on during take-offs and landings ! Hahaha😂
Not sure if you will see this but have you done a “powder evaluation “ flight further south towards Bishop and Lone Pine? Flying down to KMEV tomorrow for a backcountry photo trip into the mountains with my dog. Trying to decide between 1000 island lake near mammoth or the Whitney area.
I thought about taking my dog as well. It is very courageous to take him without any dog basket. I think - and reading some other comments - I would put him into a closed dog basket and fix it with a belt. Very cute though!
Hi Hayley I appreciate your flights and... smiles :) Nice idea to take your dog in your airplane but I recommend that you keep the dog locked in a basket or else: With some bumpy moves of the airplane, the dog can block your rudder, for example. In this last case and specific conditions, you could have some difficulties to recover your flight controls. Take care !
I agree that maybe the dog should have at least a harness, if she hit extreme turbulence the dog could go flying into the instrument panel and hit switches and injure the dog too.
@@PORSCHE_COUNTRY. It's got dual controls. If you look at 4:43 you can see the right side rudder pedals. While there's only a single yoke, it's on an arm that swings from the left to the right side. (the mount is in the center of the panel and it swings up and over in a 180 degree arc)
Hello Hayley. Please protect your dog's ears. The DB inside the cabin without ear protection is pretty high. Your dog will thank you in the future. Safe travels.
Not sure if i'm seeing this right, but when you show the video facing you into the cockpit, the top corner of your windscreen on the side near your door looks cracked, you might not be able to see it because your sun visor on that side might be hiding it from you. Hope this isn't an issue.
Poor safety standards to have a dog on the front seat, even if the dual controls are gone. I mean, there are actually safety belts available for dogs...
How many incidents have you ever heard of involving a puppy sitting in an airplane? Never. Find something else to try to critique Hayley on bro. Try not to be so negative, plus, Trump won!😂😂😂
Do dogs ears pop the way people's do with altitude? I used to travel with my dad when I was really young and that was the part of it that I really didn't like. And it's probably harder to explain to a dog about chewing gum to make it less bothersome. It's cool that he's so mellow about flying, but he's also missing out on the great view.
Looks like you need a new mount and/or angle for dog cam. Invest in a harness, you wouldnt put Passengers or people in the plane without a seatbelt would you? Maybe let him out at cruise.
What a sweet dog! Do you want to go out? I'll help you walk your dog. I built a dog sled a couple of years ago, likek] the ones in the Iditarod, except my dog died a couple of years ago. We only get snow a couple of times a year, where I live, so I put wheels on the sled. It worked pretty well. She was a smart dog. She was really out for squirrels, but she didn't mind pulling the sled at the same time. K bye.
I put mine in a harness buckled to the seat so no chance of her getting scared and interfering with the rudder petals.
Kai the fly dog! The more trips he goes on with you, the better fly dog he'll be.
cutest co-pilot ever!:) Merry Christmas Hayley and Kai! hope to see more first officer Kai flights in the future;)

The dog is happy as long as you are around.
Kai definitely needs an aviator hat. Beautiful scenery! Wished I lived closer to that area. Love the mountains!
Terrific video featuring what now has become my favorite 4 legged creature. What a sweetheart he is! Have a wonderful holiday, Hayley.
Sunglasses! Trust me, after 35 years flying most often without sunglasses, I became my surgeon's youngest cataract patient.
Very good point, I recently adopted that mindset or a hat at a minimum, even if it's cloudy
We have a Alaskan Klee Kai. They are amazing companions and such good travel buddies.
they really are amazing dogs!
you selected a great way to live, your life your a natural pilot. TY

You’re dog is a good traveler Thumbs up 👍
aww. He's so beautiful and a beautiful flight.
A beautiful sight having your wing camera getting a shot of Debbie against the snowy mountains.
Any ferry flights coming up in those beautiful Diamond airplanes?
You are a very competent pilot. I wish I had completed my ppl; but responsibility got in the way!
Kai is a sweet pup! He’s gonna be a great pilot one day.
What a cutie you’re not bad either Haley😂 he did so good on the flight.
Now I'm imagining a dog in old timey aviator goggles sticking their head out of the window 😆
he looks like that when he sticks his head out of a car window 😂

So cute with the dog

Good morning from Minnesota! Merry Christmas! Great episode!
TOO CUTE!!! 🐶💛💛💛
FYI - I believe that the solid visor is not FAA certified for aircraft usage. 😊
That is the cutest puppy!
Another great video! Is that a battery tender on the chair? Lol. I had the same set up only mine feeding a commanders battery😳
I still have her (Juliet ) but have since upgraded to a rolling tray 😎
Have fun on the ski trip!
You have a perfect dog for flying!!! My lab/shepard would redecorate the plane!
Great videos & dog 👍😊
Very very cute dog!!! Mom's kinda cute too.
Kai is adorable!!!! Airplane dog!😊
very cool....it's obvious he trusts you he's not scared
What a cool things to get to do!
Kai is awesome! Please secure him such that there is no chance he can impede your ability to fly the plane in an emergency situation. I have seen a video here on RUclips where the dog panicked and caused great stress for the pilot trying to land. Stay safe ✈️
Cool video, Merry Christmas to you and Kai
Hi Hayle. Good video. Merry Christmas.
4:38 you need a new front glass, upper right corner seen from piolot
another nice video THANKS
What a perfect day to fly
6:17 🥰👍
Nice video especially over Tahoe Lake, you are in violation of F. A. R.; passenger Kai is required to have shoulder restraints on during take-offs and landings ! Hahaha😂
Love your closing music! Of course hate to hear it cuz that means the vid is over!
This is sooo cute
Lucky dog...
Merry Christmas! 🎄🎁
Lucky dog.
Curious what kind of ear plugs you found for Kai? We use earmuffs and our dog always pushes them off his head.
Lucky dog
Cute pup! Might the altitude have made him drowsy?
If he could just work the radios and check lists...

main thing the dog will do is offer a distraction.

Come on, bro, give us a break, that’s the dumbest thing I’ve read
@@Jimmer-Space88 Are you a pilot ? You should understand in this case. I nearly had a serious accident due to a similar situation.
You can buy ear protection for dogs. Called Mutt Muffs. If that’s something you’d be looking for.
Aww. Dogs follow us everywhere❤
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hello Hayley. Please protect your dog's ears. The DB inside the cabin without ear protection is pretty high. Your dog will thank you in the future. Safe travels.
Herberg - Happy Hanukkah, right?
That dog is a Mini Pomsky, according to my wife.
Dog never had seat belt on 😂
Captain and First Offizier 💯💞💢💋
I guess your dog didn't have a "Push to Bark" button 😂
I take my dog with me. He is a German Shepherd. Just wondering, what type of earplugs did you use?

Fly to Georgia any?

Did the dog puke?
You would not fly without making sure humans are strapped in, so why relax this rule for your dog. Consider him a loose object in the cockpit.....
Great video, Your volume is a little low.
Pretty babe girlfriend 😍 💕 😘 💗 💓
Blancolirio, here's some future business.
Not only is a dog man's best friend, a dog is also a woman's best friend. Beautiful view and scenery.
You need gyrocopter with the doors off. Dog can’t even see
It’s Merry Christmas not Happy Hollydays!
