      Master.... I'm having problems with my training...... I lost most of my body weight (I weighed 64 kg and then a month passed and I lost mass until I was 53 kg, 5 weeks passed and I'm 55 kg ), making me more tired and I can't connect my strikes as well as before... the only thing I gained from this was greater skill with aerial kicks. What I have to do? It's really painfull continuing my training. the only thing i know is the fact that .......i cant stop my training...........I have to do this so I can have a life worth remembering........but in year's of training this never happened.

    Thank you. Short story. I studied kung Fu from 1982 to 1986, when i was a teen. In 1990 i went into the military and 20 years later i have ptsd bad, real bad. Last year i found you and since November 2023 i have lost 54 pounds caused by medication, my blood pressure went down a lot. You made me remember you do not study Kung Fu you live it. 5 months later i feel like i will live longer, i still want to loose 30 more pounds and i would be at high school weight. BUT most of all my mood, my mental health has improved better than any doctor has done in 8 years. I still have problems with Horse stance, many years of over weight legs, but still feel better.

      Gong fu(功夫)( Tai chi (太极), etc) are subsets of Wushu(武术 ) which is the correct term to what westerners egotistically call the "martial arts". 功夫 is the practice of 武术 or any skilled achievement through hard work or practice (Check Jackie Chan as Wudao in "Shaolin" to see the second point in practice. Side note ( 舞刀 )wǔ dāo means dance knife- could be a reference to the shovel or work tool he mastered and ( 误导 ) wù dǎo: means "misleading" both definitions fit the character in the movie. The second definition because his character seemingly only cares about cooking and not practice, however his mastery of cooking was what he lead with to defend Shaolin. Qigong (气功): sometimes spelled chi kung or chi gong, on the other hand is an ancient Chinese practice that focuses on cultivating and balancing qi, or life energy, within the body. It involves gentle movements, breathing exercises, meditation, and mental concentration to promote physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. This is probably the focus of your intrigue when you say "dancing". It can be funny in a sense to see the correlation between dance and 武术 to the uninitiated and the serious practicioner alike, though for different reasons.

    Sifu we don't want to learn this lady's art. Please make training lessons for drunken & praying mantis Kungfu.

    • @lesserlight
      @lesserlight 2 месяца назад +1

      This is a very distorted view that you have. This is not a Lady's art. In kung fu, the fan can be employed as a weapon or as a training tool to develop coordination, agility, and precision. It can be integrated into forms (sequences of movements) or used for self-defense techniques. Instead of attempting to shame Master Song for an expression practiced by both men and women, you need to investigate your inner self and find peace within yourself as to who YOU are. To see this as a feminine art is either an effect of inexperience or immaturity in assuming this exercise is gender specific.
