I find it offensive that in your videos you continue to ask for money multiple times but as an ex Mormon I have better luck actually communicating with an atheist from Mormon stories podcast. My Bible was buried for nearly 20 years after I left the Mormon cult. We can do better
It really struck me with the truth of it when Ray Comfort said that to witness to members of a cult you've got to "not worry about what they think of you and worry about where they will be spending eternity". Amen!!!! I'm an ex mormon ( resigned my membership officially 7 years ago) who lives in Utah surrounded by mormon family, friends, coworkers, neighbors. These were words I needed to hear.
I love Ray! I love his approach to sharing the gospel. He is patient, bold, gentle, kind, etc. He keeps it simple and God is blessing his ministry I’m sure. Loved this video! Thank you Ray and Cultish for giving to the Lord! You all are lights in this dark world.
Ray changed my life and my family's with helping us understand what salvation really is. I am saved from death, not because of what i did, all i can do is be thankful for what our merciful God did and serve him till the end. Thank you for having him on guys
Ray is a man of God, but not everything he says is 100% accurate. Many (if not all) giants in the faith, like him, have propagated theological (not doctrinal) errors and Ray Comfort is not the exception. He doesn't like using the term "lead" people to Christ. Though the Bible uses terms like "rescue", "snatch", (Jude 23) fisherman of men", but not "lead"? What I'm trying to say is: let's be thankful for Ray, but let's listen (besides going to the scriptures ourselves) to others who think differently and grow and "expand our territories". I'm glad the Lord used brother Ray in your life and yours. Blessings to you!
I've never heard Ray give the illustration of the waitress knowing that she has what they want. That's good stuff. That alone should embolden us for sharing the Gospel. Thanks Ray!

I have learned so much about evangelism from Ray Comfort. What he does is amazing, and what’s even better is that by watching his methods we can do what he does for Gods kingdom!
Ray is the one who taught me how to share the gospel. I use the method he uses almost every time I evangelise. Praise God! Let's continue to regularly share our Christian faith in 2023.
I love Ray and his way of explaining things. A true brother indeed! He paints a wonderful picture of what God did for us through His son by way of that sweet analogy with his dog. Dear Sam. He is missed but we love his dog Lucy now also who accompanies him in evangelism as Sam did. 😊
@Quint Mark 10:18 and Mathew 19:17 There is a guy asking Jesus a question and starts with “Good teacher…” Jesus replied “why do you call me good, there is none good but God… The premier description of the word good means perfect/ without flaw. Every person with the exception of Jesus has sinned. We are all flawed and therefor not good. If we say good compared to Hitler- that is a lot of people-but still isn’t actually good, just not as bad. You should watch some of Ray Comfort’s videos on youtube. Search his name and within watching 6-7 of his videos you’ll hear him give a far better exploration than I did. More importantly you will hear why this reference was made.

This is amazing. Ty for sharing. That 3 min challenge it’s the best. I want to do that even for my believers friends and family so that we see weather we know what to say.
I really like Ray's passion for Evangelism. That being said, when he starting talking about the key to breaking through to someone is getting rid of the fluff as if doing so would cause any man left to himself to see the reality of the depth of sin or believe that he will be held accountable by a Holy God is ridiculous on my opinion. Only divine grace in regeneration will enable any one to see the truth of that wich is the power unto salvation and the reality of their eternal state, resulting in believeing what God has done on his behalf in the atoning work of Christ and therefore cry out to God in sorrow for his wickedness and trust in the sufficientcy of the cross for His redemption. Not saying we shouldn't use certain methods, just that as always conversion is initiated and dependent on divine grace. Hence effectual calling.
(A word to whoever will say "amen") 7 And lo, he shall suffer temptations, and pain of body, hunger, thirst, and fatigue, even more than man can suffer, except it be unto death; for behold, blood cometh from every pore, so great shall be his anguish for the wickedness and the abominations of his people. 8 And he shall be called JESUS CHRIST, THE SON OF GOD, the Father of heaven and earth, the Creator of all things from the beginning; and HIS MOTHER shall be called MARY.
Well, there are many more evangelists and pastors, ministers etc. who teach from the only true bible, the KJB/KJV that holds the true words of Jesus and the prophets. Pastors like, Dr Kent Hovind, Cliffe and Stuart Knechtle, and so many others! Just because you're a mormon, Catholic, and many others who believe in their Bibles, doesn't mean that they aren't saved! They can still believe in Jesus and have accepted Jesus into their hearts and lives. Just be careful who you are learning from. (I think Col.2) says to be careful Who you listen to and believe in. Ray Comfort is a great pastor who teaches the true word of Our Lord Jesus! With 🙏's and love.
Question: im still learning about how to be a Christian, ive been truely saved for approximately 10 years, but only truely started living by the authority of God's Word for about 4 or 5 years and I find more and more things I do wrong and the grace if God transforms my actions, so its hard for me to peg the exact date of my true salvation, but about 10 years ago I began taking God seriously and had interactions with Gods Word that began the transformation in me. As a woman I was really against the whole "woman learn in silence" and do not have authority over a man in the church, as Paul wrote to Timothy. I ended up studying and basically bought my luscence to be a minister several years ago and ive thrown all that stuff away after I began to trust God's word about where woman should stand when it comes to teaching and preaching. I have a type A personality so it really us better that I do not preach or teach because my opinions get in the way. As I said, im still learning and growing. With all that said, I have a terrible fear of evangelizing. I lived as a first class Narcassist for most my life and when God began revealing that to me and changing my heart I began to adopt a fear if speaking to strangers at all about Jesus. Im afraid ill get shut down and then become even more socially elusive. Im kinda a recluse for the most part die to moving around a lot for my husband's work, but I would really like to know how I can do more to serve God. I have this drive in my heart to share the gospel with people but im also in fear that I will get puffed up and think I am some great woman of God that others should look to. I'm sorry this is a long question, but im seeking answers from other believers about what a woman with my paticular past should do. I read Paul's writings also about living a quiet life and working with my hands and I feel that may be what God wants me to focus on right now untill He calls me to evangelism if He ever chooses to do so. I wonder if the only reason I have the drive in my heart to share the Gospel is because I want to impress God, because there is that nagging thought in my mind that the only reason I want to get out and do things like what Ray Comfort does.(who im blessed by and thank God for men like him in this world) What would be a good step for me to take to figure out where to get these answers if you guys aren't sure how to answer it. I read scripture and im not getting a straight answer to what im supposed to do because there is so much that so many did for God throughout scripture. I feel like the one guy that buried his talent when his master told him and the others to do somthing that invests them into more, but not to lose them..... I know the story goes differently but im trying to make it short and sweet. You guys know the story of the talents though im sure. Please help! God bless you all and thankyou for the work you do for Jesus !

Lots of good stuff to learn here, but I will add that the driving a car and riding a bike analogies for sharing the gospel do not work. You must know something about driving a car before driving one or you are in trouble. Same with riding a bike. We must know the gospel ourselves before sharing it, and know at least a little about how to answer for the hope that is in us Before just going for it. I tried that method and ended up looking ridiculous with nothing to say while to secular Jews out argued me with comments about God loving everyone. I would submit that it requires at least a little training before we just go out and start sharing whatever we think is the gospel and trying to defend it.

Ray comfort during a T.V interview with Emeal "E.Z" Zwayne from Living Waters when asked about salvation said, “there are some churches that don’t preach repentance they just preach belief, and it’s based on believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved (than he goes on to say) …” BUT the trouble is…” Well, the trouble here is he goes on to say, “people that believe and don’t repent…they repent sometime later they are not saved until they repent” What was just quoted is so confusing any person looking for answers would surely be totally confused?? Clearly Mr. Comfort does not understand or come to terms with the real meaning of Biblical repentance?? The KJV bible records God repenting over 20 times, (Metanoia) the Greek word for “Change of mind” No where in the bible does it say repent of your sins to be saved. Believe is mentioned over 100 times in the Gospel of John to be saved. (Acts 3:19) “Repent (Metanoia) so that your sins may be wiped out…” John & Jesus both proclaimed that the people needed to Repent (Metanoia) for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17), (Matthew 3:2), NO mention of confessing of sins OR from sins to be SAVED! Acts (16:30-31) …” Sirs, what must I do to be SAVED? And they said, “BELEVE IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND YOU WILL BE SAVED, YOU AND YOUR HOUSEHOLD” All your sins are forgiven once you put your faith and trust on the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross (John 19:30). Once you know who you are in the sight of God “A SINNER” (Romans 3:23) “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” Your Godly sorrow will bring you to salvation! (2 Corinthians 7:10). REPENT, change of mind, leads to salvation a one-time event of conversion an inward dwelling of the Holy Spirit a seed a seal that never can be removed a NEW nature, a new man, a new creation, the righteousness of God. BUT our OLD nature is still present in our fleshly bodies we have the choice to live by the Spirit each day and avoid temptation with the help of God, Romans 7 is a perfect example of Paul’s struggle with the flesh. As a Christian we will not be able to live a sinless life of perfection anyone that teaches such still lives under the law! God offers his forgiveness when we fall, (1 John 1:9) “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (Romans 4: 5) “…And to the one who does not work but BELIEVES in him who JUSTIFIES the ungodly, his FAITH is counted as RIGHTEOUSNESS”Also worth noting,” Jonah 3:10 proves that turning away from evil ways is work, “And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.” Repenting of Sin is a WORK!

@@CruelSun7319 Why is Lordship salvation heresy? Would a person who's been born again not want to serve God? Are you a Universalist or something dumb like that?
One thing I don't understand is why do Christians promote Christianity to cult members? I once went on a spiritual retreat with about 60 folks who followed a verified "new age" cult leader. Someone asked how many were ex-christians. All but 5 of us raised our hands (us five were myself an atheist, a buddhist, 3 jews). The discussion then went into how horrible christianity is, how bogus, yadda yadda. So, telling new agers that Jesus loves them, died for the, etc is a WASTE OF TIME. The reason they are in a cult is due to rejecting all that. Its like telling a woman "I know your ex raped you, kidnapped you, and you sent him to jail, but when he gets out what about starting the relationship again cause you know HE loves you?" Don't tell the person they should go back to what they reject ............ Now, I offer a solution: I knew a minister once. I was NOT into Christianity, but he won me over. How? By not talking Jesus. He asked what I believed. I didn't really know, but god was something or somewhere, or whatever, I didn't know but I 'felt' something. He asked about my wicca friend and was really interested in her beliefs. He asked about my atheist friend. Jesus NEVER came up. I was sorta wow'd that he didn't tell me I was a sinner, how bad I was, etc. I was a confused kid who knew nothing about god, but knew their was one, and wanted info. To be told I was bad, or sad, or whatever would have been gaslighting me. He didn't do that. Through some other events I ended up going to church. I later asked this minister why he asked about my friends. He gave two answers. He said, he was generally curious what people believed and why, AND, you can't preach to your neighbor until you know what they believe. That stayed with me.
It's impossible to be an athlete and abstain totally from sugar. 😂 If you eat any carbohydrate at all, even fruit and veg It contains sugar. Sugar isn't the enemy. Your brain thrives on glucose. Your body needs carbohydrate/sugar. Balance is everything. Good athletes have discipline, self control and limit the type of sugar they have. I.e no or low amounts of refined sugar just as we as Christians need to have discipline and balance. We run the race to win a crown that is by God's grace obtainable says Paul the Apostle.

from what I gather, Our works are not what gets us into heaven, only by grace by faith in Jesus are we saved. However, we are called to express our faith in Jesus by saving others that are lost.
We are saved by grace. The evidence of our faith is our works. Our works do not save us, but if we truly love God and know him, we will keep his commandments. We don't keep his commandments to gain eternal life, but because we love him and know him. Hope this helps.
@Deanne Miller Thanks for your reply. Please read Matthew 19:16-29, Jesus did answer the one man, that if he wanted eternal life to keep the Commandments. @@brich2542 No of course not. The new testament was written in Koine Greek, not English or Latin. Jesus, in the original text, never mentions eternal punishment in hell. Jesus accused the Pharisees of hypocrisy and sentenced them to a fiery death in Gehenna at the end of the old covenant age which ended in AD 70 at the destruction of Jerusalem by the Roman armies. Gehenna was a valley near ancient Jerusalem that was filled with garbage and criminal corpses, which were constantly on fire, "where the fire is never quenched and the worm does not die."

SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE (NOTHING IN THE BEGINNING) Dear ray, Suppose, I took your photo. Now, time starts to your photo (1seccond, 2 sec... etc). So, before the time started to your photo (before the 1st second), it wasn't there. Today, we know that, everything changes with time (earth, sun, stars...). So, everything comes under time. So, before they began (before the 1st second), Scientifically they don't exist. So, there must me NOTHING before they began. Nothing to everything is creating. As you said, all the combined intelligence of human cannot create a grain of sand from nothing. So, the INTELLIGENT CREATIVE FORCE is THE CREATOR. GOD Created everything from nothing. Love from India...
Ray comfort says a lot of good stuff but his methodology that knowingly refuses to deal with false beliefs about God and Jesus simply gives the cultist a false assurance of salvation. You can't simply but your hope and salvation in Michael the Archangel, A Hindu God, a pagan God, or any other false idol and then simply rename him Jesus and say all is well I'm saved because I've trusted in Jesus for my salvation. Scoot any other God into the shoes of Jesus and you are simply practicing idolatry; an idol can save no one and Idolaters will not enter the Kingdom of God ( (1 Cor 6:9). To give the assurance of salvation and then just hope that in time they will become enlightened to the truth is wishful thinking rather they will likely continue on their merry way thinking all is well because you haven't confronted them with the sin that is foremost in their lives and Jesus command that they repent of. Actually dealing with their false God may not be as quick or produce the tangible results that a canned gospel message will but it is the only way you can then give assurance of their salvation in good conscience.

Oof! Attacking your theological roots, Ray? Much of the apostate doctrines that the modern protestant church has originated from the creeds of Catholicism! That, or (given that this is Apologia) the arrogance of the murderous John Calvin. What foundation do you have, aside from your interpretation of scripture?
“and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand;repent and believe in the gospel.”” Mark 1:15 “And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:38 Repentance and faith go hand in hand. Both are a gift. Regeneration precedes faith so as a “Calvinist” Ray believes the Christian is gifted repentance and faith. Neither are works. Now you need to stop slandering a faithful brother in Christ.
@@hilhillrn Repent defined is a change of mind. We are moving our trust away from ourselves (our abilities to please God) and placing it on Christ alone to save us. It does not mean, Stop sinning, then you can come to Christ.

Thank you for this Cultish. It was lovely.

I wonder if the only reason I have the drive in my heart to share the Gospel is because I want to impress God, because there is that nagging thought in my mind that the only reason I want to get out and do things like what Ray Comfort does.(who im blessed by and thank God for men like him in this
world)
What would be a good step for me to take to figure out where to get these answers if you guys aren't sure how to answer it.

Luke 12:13,14KJV"And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me. 14And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?"
Matthew9:16,17KJV"No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse. 17Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved."
Matthew26:52NIV"“Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him, “for all who draw the sword will die by the sword."
I would submit that it requires at least a little training before we just go out and start sharing whatever we think is the gospel and trying to defend it.

salvation said, “there are some churches that don’t preach repentance they just preach belief, and it’s based on believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved (than he goes on to say) …” BUT the trouble is…” Well, the trouble here is he goes on to say, “people that believe and don’t repent…they repent sometime later they are not saved until they repent” What was just quoted is so confusing any person looking for answers would surely be totally confused??
And they said, “BELEVE IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND YOU WILL BE SAVED, YOU AND YOUR HOUSEHOLD”
All your sins are forgiven once you put your faith and trust on the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross (John 19:30).

These Calvinists need the gospel.....they don't believe faith comes by hearing. They say it but their ideology doesn't support that.

(verse 4) He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his Commandments, IS A LIAR, AND THE TRUTH IS NOT IN HIM." And, Revelation 22:14,(King James Bible)states : " Blessed are they that do his Commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of Life, and may enter in through the gates into the City." Please explain these Scriptures? Along with : " If ye love me, KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS. " (John 14:15) Amen. And, explain Matthew 25:31-46, The deciding factor on whether a person went to heaven or hell was whether that person had done "good works or no works" . Amen. Don't be fooled! "Faith without works is dead, being alone. " (James 2:17) Read Matthew 25:14-30, the servant that did NOTHING, was cast into " outer darkness". Jesus said that Blessed was the servant that He finds working when He Returns.amen. Let's pray for God to raise true men of God to preach and teach the whole TRUTH.amen.
from what I gather, Our works are not what gets us into heaven, only by grace by faith in Jesus are we saved. However, we are called to express our faith in Jesus by saving others that are lost.
Enjoy life to the fullest, Billy Bob 66:66
We are saved by grace. The evidence of our faith is our works. Our works do not save us, but if we truly love God and know him, we will keep his commandments. We don't keep his commandments to gain eternal life, but because we love him and know him. Hope this helps.
@Deanne Miller Thanks for your reply. Please read Matthew 19:16-29, Jesus did answer the one man, that if he wanted eternal life to keep the Commandments. BUT, please understand what the First Commandment IS. And, if we love God/Jesus with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength
and have no other god before Him, we will (as Jesus said to that man) have eternal life.amen. Do you realize that just before Jesus went back into heaven(after his resurrection), He commanded his disciples: " And he said unto them, GO ye into all the world, and preach the GOSPEL TO every creature." So, what,...you might say. ha. ha. Do you realize that when Jesus gave that command to his disciples, that it would be years, before the Apostle Paul would be converted, and utter Ephesians 2:8,9, (everyone seems to forget verse 10, which explains verses 8 and 9)
Banana goofball.
Little Ray is easily the most annoying person I have ever had the misfortune to encounter
Hi Damian. I hope you're well. Great that you watched. Ray Comfort
@@raycomfortjustwitnessing whatever
I like Ray but I don't agree with his eternal damnation theology.
So you disagree with Jesus?
@@brich2542 No of course not. The new testament was written in Koine Greek, not English or Latin. Jesus, in the original text, never mentions eternal punishment in hell. We have very flawed English translations that replace the Greek words, "Gehenna" and "Hades", will hell.
@Thomas B Did you even read what I said?
What is Jesus saying us from then???????
@@Daniellapalo Jesus saves us from sin, which is the lack of what's good, true, and beautiful.
Ray goes around to a bunch gentiles telling them they're going to hell because they haven't fulfilled Jewish law? Doesn't make sense. Get them saved first then deal with there sin without the condemnation for there is no condemnation in Christ.
Fear of the Lord is beginning of wisdom! Why do you need a savior if you’re not headed to hell?
@@Daniellapalo God's standard isn't the law of Moses but Jesus Christ. But yet Ray uses the old covenant standards to prove a point that is irrelevant to the new covenant. The new covenant is for Jew and gentile vs the old covenant which is just for the Jews. Do you understand now?

SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE
(NOTHING IN THE BEGINNING)
Dear ray,
Suppose, I took your photo. Now, time starts to your photo (1seccond, 2 sec... etc). So, before the time started to your photo (before the 1st second), it wasn't there.
Today, we know that, everything changes with time (earth, sun, stars...). So, everything comes under time.
Time has 2 attributes. Beginning and ending. So, everything had a beginning. Since they began, they change with respect to time.

Erroneous, as well.

Give the money to the poor and you will have riches in the Heaven's. Ray is not what he seems to be.
@Thomas B Christ told the Rich man to sell all his possessions and give the money to the poor. You will have riches in heaven that will not perish. The Rich man walked away and never returned. Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron have NEVER left Hollywood or the riches/money it offers. Ray Comfort is NOT genuinely a Christian nor is his message.
Oh please… Do you know him personally?
@@emmpak I'm poor give me your stuff

@@emmpak I will after you give me your stuff
Oof! Attacking your theological roots, Ray? Much of the apostate doctrines that the modern protestant church has originated from the creeds of Catholicism! That, or (given that this is Apologia) the arrogance of the murderous John Calvin. What foundation do you have, aside from your interpretation of scripture?
And what do you believe?
Ray Comfort preaches a false gospel of works. "Turn from your sins".
He has been influenced by Calvinism rather than Dispensationalism, so he does not know how to rightly divide the word of truth.
“and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand;repent and believe in the gospel.””
Mark 1:15
“And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
Acts 2:38
Repentance and faith go hand in hand. Both are a gift. Regeneration precedes faith so as a “Calvinist” Ray believes the Christian is gifted repentance and faith. Neither are works.
Now you need to stop slandering a faithful brother in Christ.

The Bible says we should repent of our sins
@@hilhillrn Repent defined is a change of mind. We are moving our trust away from ourselves (our abilities to please God) and placing it on Christ alone to save us. It does not mean, Stop sinning, then you can come to Christ.

Yes, much agreed ...
As I'm not trying gain or earn my salvation from Jehovah by carrying out works of the Law covenant. Like Paul is speaking against in Romans and elsewhere.
But to comply with the obligation all professing Christians have to imitate the good works of Christ as scripture commands in James that validate our said faith in Christ and befit our repentance.
If one claims to be a Christian, yet doesn't actually do the works of Christ in this life (aka, "nominal Christianity") what good is it?
