- One evening, as Sei Takanashi returns home from a long day at work, a magical force pulls her into a foreign world. Upon her arrival to the kingdom of Slantania, she overhears that the Grand Magus inadvertently summoned two Saints-Sei and a brown-haired girl. Needing only one holy maiden, the prince declares the other girl as the Saint, leaving Sei to her own devices.

I feel bad for both girls, the short hair got more favored even tho she never asked for it and she probably feels really lonely because of the prince everyone kinda hates her, the long hair got treated really badly from the start and she have to prove herself to be the saint all because the prince thought she wasn’t cuz of her looks

@@amore_0 Parallel World Pharmacy is the name of the anime. There's no harem stuff as he ends up in the body of a ten year old. Another good anime series is ascendance of a bookworm where a librarian/bookworm with an arts & crafts background ends up in the body of a peasant girl who tries her damnest to get access to books in a mostly illiterate culture. She has no current romantic entanglements as her new body is a minor.
I mean, Rimuru was in his late 30's and was a salaryman with actually a decent social life, but no luck dating.
@@beardpapa12 ascendance of a bookworm is amazing not only do they cut out the harem stuff and the person being op (yes they have powers but it's not a 'she is the chosen one' part as many peasants suffer a certain effect she has). But what I loved about the anime was the person went to the effort to research and made a believable fantasy medieval world. Not only in the daily routine of the people which changes depending on season but also culture/social norms. Can't count how many anime their are that take place in 'western' setting but the people still bow, use Japanese honorifics and still keep the social interactions the same.
Kyle looked at the girls and then basically said "This young one is Saint because she is more beautiful"

I watched this when it first aired. The romance caught me off guard but it was so beautiful. The music also helped set the atmosphere. Season 2 is coming soon. Let the isekai romance continue between the Saint and Commander. ❤❤

This isekai is good, they don't over-sexualize the woman, realistic romantic (mostly), very light hearted, cool fight scenes and more. This is approved by me.
We get the definitions of no spices.
I enjoy this narrators voice deeply. thank you whoever brought it into this world.
the combination of his voice and the music makes it seem like something deeply disturbing is happening when nothing remotely like that is actually happening

I actually hated the prince when i started reading the manga
But in the long run i actually started liking him
Dude isnt actually that bad of a person
He basically made a mistake of assuming who the saintess is and made the mistake of doing the ritual without the kings permission just to prove he is capable to the king
But the thing i liked about him is that
He never apologized to sei not out of arrogance but knowing that it wouldnt change anything
He instead owned up to his mistakes
And pick himself up and do what he can so that the girl who was mistaken to be a saintess won't get cast aside or bullied for not being one
Sure hes not the best guy
But he is decent in my eyes
Finally you are the first person who does these recaps really well. You are fun professional and soothing to hear, you make good jokes not nasty crude ones. Not to mention you do anime that is actually interesting to women where as the other men just do nasty tripple d chest sizes where they exploit the women like crazy.

Dang, I read the manga and watched the anime but this summary is so good that I watch all of it.
Oh i love this one.
As someone who watched this literally more than 20x.
There were wrong narratives and important information that was left out.
First: The head of the Researchers (Yohan/Johan) was called and thus told to report because of the result of her crafted potion. He didnt go there directly because of what he noticed. He actually wanted Sei to live comfortably and you will understand after he hesitated to say that 50% was due to her being the Saint.
Second: Sei's cosmetic didn't became popular, she offered to make one for pimple problem after Liz (Elizabeth) told her classmate's story so as to help her. This is after noticing how Sei became more beautiful.
Also, Sei's eyesight has gotten better because of her Saint's power, like that of the 50% more effective. She made cosmetics for eye bag but that unintentionally fixed her poor eyesight lol.
Third: You left out that important part when she was tried enchanting gems in the Magic Institute.
Yes, Albert's older brother reported to the King but that is because Sei managed to enchant a gem which equals a legendary item. Aside from Elemental Resistance, physical and magic def(lol just to make it more understandable, like for games, magic def and attack def enhanced) there was also Nullification (like debuff nullification such as poison, paralyze, etc.)
The rest of the narration is good.
Btw, not saying the narration was bad, this is actually much better than those other narrative channels.
Just a heads up. Sei made few dumb decisions. Lol. Though I guess that's for the story build up. You will notice it but decides to let it slide for the sake of the story development 😂.
I like the way this is edited where it seems as though the characters on the screen are saying the same thing as the narrator

Moment when you're a 30 year old chemist working in a lab who gets isekai into a world where you're a 30 year old chemist working in a lab, but with ✨ magic 😅.
The funny thing is she's an office lady in the old world, not a chemist. The herbology was just a hobby, but now that she has magic it's become her main gig.

I still think the knights should wear some kind of armor. Maybe when people have a stash of magical healing potions they figure they don't have to lug heavy armor around anymore?

The fact that Sei didn't outright slug the prince by the end of the season or tell everyone to go "Fluff" themselves after they more or less ignored her existence outside of the Medical Facility for nearly 1-2yrs, is pretty damn scummy. They didn't even consider her worth mentioning.. Placing their kingdom's problems on her shoulders after treating her like sh-t at first then a tool later on.. and she was constantly monitored without her permission or knowledge for a while. If Someone had done this to me, I would've left that sh-t kingdom and found somewhere else that WOULD treat me as if I mattered or at least shown basic human decency. For pete's sake they kept Sei locked up without explicitly stating it as such, and without much of an explaination of what was going on didn't these scummbags think somekind of explaination was warneted to the person whom you just stolen EVERYTHING from ? Her home world her people her way of life her family friends etc. there's a high chance she'd never see any of it again, these b-stards didn't deserve anything from her nothing at all as they wouldn't even take responsibility for their own selfish actions, and were even willing to place her in life threatening danger despite treating her like utter dook dook.Frankly if I were in Sei's shoes, I'd leave these people to their own devices, as the saying goes let god sort them out, if they don't need me and don't even deem my existance worth even mentioning why in the hell on earth should I waste my time, breath or power to save these lowlife sacks of dook dook? Because they Look Human,their nothing more than "HUMAN" looking aliens that simply wanted to push all of their failures onto others, people like that Aren't worth saving at all, all they do is ruin the lives of those around them..
Seijo no hazu ga, douyara nottoraremashite (I was summoned be the saint but I was robbed of the position) you should give that a read. She leaves the crap kingdom that summoned to try and live a free life but ends up getting attention because of her healing magic.

They gave her free room and board at the palace, and free reign to use the facilities, library, etc. Then she decided she wanted to become a live-in employee at the herb institute. Basically they continued to monitor her progress while letting her live her life the way she wanted. It was only Prince Kyle that ignored her.

I have physical copies in English of both the manga and the light novel on my shelf right now and they are definitely called “The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent.” Perhaps you were unaware that both the manga and the light novel had been officially translated?

Anime is based on a light novel and the anime follows it fairly well.

This breaks it down well but the anime itself has a lot of boring stages in the episodes. Not that fights scenes are required every 5 seconds, but it's easy to lose interest in the blander scenes, not to mention honestly, the MC is bland.
You gotta be in the right mood for this one.
