I don't think that being starless makes them stronger. When Druid's brothers lost their stars, they didn't get more powerful. I think Ivy being starless has to do with having the soul of someone from another world.

I’m so glad on how much Ivy as grown and now she can freely open up without any judgement. I’m very satisfied with this ending but can’t wait for season two :)
I'm with you guys...Ivy didn't deserve to be thrown out like that. But also...after watching the parents go from loving to resenting all because she didn't have stars...my guess is they only loved her because they thought she had stars...or, for her stars. So, they and the village got what came to them following the fortune teller's death.
To be fair, the anime didn't touch up on things that were mentioned in the manga, namely the village priest and chief were colluding for some reason, I think trying to spread religious dogma or something and they decided to use femicia as a scapegoat to rally the stupid villagers behind the idea that starless are abandoned by the gods thus deserve to die mentality or something like that
What the anime doesn't touch upon is that femicia's parents were highly religious thus immediately believing the lying priest and village chief, I believe she points out the actions of the chief priest and her father and they got taken care of off-screen(in manga tho)

This is the best thing to come back to from vacations I've been really enjoying this one, Ivy has grown so much and has evolved, from being scared and wary of everyone around her to finally trusting someone, and finally opening herself, I don't know I'm just so happy to see her grow and to have people that love her. I'm so ready to see her continue her journey now
Ciel was def my favourite character, hes pretty underrated, and he saved ivy's life two times and he doesnt really get involved in the story, 10/10 for this anime, Emotional, Funny, Entertaining, And well devoloped characters.

Its so pretty, and the colors go well! I love how she counts with mice, it feels like a mention on how she started to earn money, and how she's a child!
this actually made me tear up esp towards the end. i love how they accepted her even for lying about her gender , hiding that she tame things "normal" people couldn't tame, her backstory, and stars. And how the blue hair girl was kind enough to give in without a fight

My Current Theory for how Starless Taming Works is that 1: The Tamer isn't limited by the Creature's Strength ( The Final Part elaborates on this ) 2: The Tamer needs to actually form a bond with the creature in order to Tame them ( You cant force a Creature to be tamed ) 3: Being Starless means your Skill Develops along with the user ( The Only 2 Creatures she tamed were at completely different levels and at those points she was, Scared or Adjusting ) 4: Though we lack several examples needed for this guess, I assume Starless all are Reincarnated & Also must face several hardships ( How else would a Starless Survive their Hardships ) Bonus (Random Assumption): The Tamer might need to reach a Requirement of something related to the Creature's natural activities to be capable of taming it (Hunting Animals, etc )

this anime really explains that we should be much grateful to our world and what god has given us, we should be glad that we don't have those skills and stars and stuff- and we should realize that everyone has their own special skill that we all are good at. So we shouldn't care to have those powers and kinds of stuff, cuz- as we know. Hero's comes from villains, and the wrong path for power comes from a blessing.
I've seen like 300 of these isekai and this is the first time I've cried. It's well done, it doesn't fall into the same absurd cliches, it touches on deeper themes.

I've also seen many isekai too, and most definitely start off with a great premise but fall off as they become plagued with the usual anime tropes like harems, fan service, loli stuff, moving away from plot into only romance focus, or even god forbid incest 🤢🤢🤢. I just want some good, wholesome anime damn it!

Just imagine them getting the adoption legalized and when they walk out of the town hall all the guards are waiting for them outside, Oggto would lift Ivy up and yell for everyone to hear "I HAVE A CHILD!", then Ivy would yell "I have a dad!" and Oggto starts immediately crying
