I’ve tuned into a few Ahmpy streams over the past few months, he’s painted as such a villain of WoW but dude is such a kind and smart teacher. Taught Grubby how to AoE farm, and is able to shift gears to teach t1. Just straight glaze here, loving the content.
Honestly though, people dont realize how much progress tyler is making on warrior. I remember as a kid I was horrible at warrior. I played casters for a LONG time and got very good at them, these days I understand warrior but just didnt have any interest in it because of my first impression, NOW I'm great at warrior and I can tell tyler is learning fast for not only a first time warrior/tank but also a first time player.
Tyler1 got what most players can only work towards, an actual game sense. T1 is very smart when it comes to learning from mechanics. Most fans knows his rant-childish-Dravenlike persona when he has been one of the most consistent non-pro high lvl streamer for about a decade in one of the most competitive game ever. Him and Gunnar have been mesmerizing to see progress.
@@malloott Grubby played WC3 though, its similar and he's used to precise gameplay. This is a different genre to Tyler. Grubby is doing great though I was subbed to him before this
This was the worst teaching lesson Ive seen in a while. I get it tanking is complicated and requires tons of experience if you want to master it. One more reason to not confuse new tanks with chaotic explanations.
Dude you’re such a gigachad in the wow community. The nuances with warrior tanking dungeons in classic make it so much fun. Tyler literally got a plethora of knowledge out of you, he will learn with practice but this is huge.
No it's not: The video is really deceptive because what he never mentions is that they're using a special dual-mage combo AND they're casting their spells together perfectly in tandem so that they're maximizing damage & dps to burn the mobs down really fast which is also means that the Tank is taking less damage AND the Healer has to heal less and also the Healer saves on mana.
@@Iforgor777 it's deceptive, because he never mentions all the extra stuff going on: "Like, oh by the way, we're timing Shatters here, so in your PUG, you're going to have to deal with a number of other issues": Like, the fact that in a regular PUG, you'll be "stressing out" the Healer's mana pool, so it's something you gotta keep an eye on (for example). Whereas Randos are going to see this video & get the idea that it's "easy", totally & completely unaware that there are a number of _other_ things that Tanks have to deal with. This is by no means meant to be an exhaustive tanking tutorial for the WoW Community: It's only meant as some "Tips & Tricks" (specifically to Tyler).
It's really great to see, and as an esports coach I love things like this. Already watched through it twice and it's just so wholesome and such patience and good advice.
Battle shout gives you threat for each of your party members that are buffed by it, but only if they are in combat already with the mob. If you battle shout before anyone else in the group enters combat, you're only building threat from battle shout for yourself. Better to bs after the group opens up
I'm a healer main, and have no intention to tank, but I learned so much from watching this. For people in HC (no matter what spec you play), this should be required viewing if you are serious about getting to 60. Thank you for all the information you shared here.
I love 39:00 it's totally the WoW community "everyone in chat is r1 pvp naxx 40 cleared in HC" giving advice when T1 is actually learning from one of the best classic pve players in the world.
IDK about the Heroic Strike stuff at post pull talk around 44:00. You are right when its dual wield tank due to the improved offhand hit rate and consequential rage generation. For 2h IMO its best to **almost** never use it. Its almost only good for extreme rage dumping when you are constantly capped, which pretty much never happens in situations where 2h tanking is acceptable. If you do get that much rage, its most likely a big cleave pull and Cleave is better than HS.
i think if tyler ignores his chat and goes to the school of amphy he'll be fine.. lots of bonehead things get thrown out in chat, it can get pretty easy to get lost in that sauce. at the end of the day we all want to see him grow and kick ass
yo the chapters are GOATED, thanks for the effort cutter!
They take awhile to do, glad they are appreciated 😊

Well he did lead a guild so toxic that the entire opposing faction collaborated to prevent them from getting scarab lord.
@@ryangillies8064 nice. What did they do to get that kind of backlash?

When Tyler just pauses mid fight to scream at his chat about backpedaling lmao, great video
This video shows amphy understands teaching and the chat ln livesteam doesnt.
twitch chat sperg messages and voicechat is completely different, most average players could explain like 70% of this stuff in voicechat.

@@nikolaikalashnikov4253 true they have a giga group for this dungeon. But that’s how you allow teaching in a hardcore setting.

This is a fantastic master class in tanking, I like this way better than all the "guides" as its a more hands on aproach, Good job mate!

Being toxic with your friends isn't considered being an e-sport coach.

Love to see the youtube uploads! I enjoy ur content but I cant catch a lot of the streams, so finding some highlights on here is great. :)

Amphy would make a good aeroplane pilot.
Might be good to give him some stance dancing macros at some point
More of this asap

ahmpy is goated, his chat kinda annoying how they talked about t1
It's not all that serious.

Success with a great Sherpa .
