Wow, wow, WOW. The two of you are just awesome. And Amy you carry McCartney's voice, bass and hmm, left handed and Paul carries Lennon's voice, guitar and is right handed. :-) This make me think of all of the early Beatles songs where John and Paul shared the one mic and the chemistry it created. You both bring such freshness to these songs. Don't really care to see a Beatles cover band in costumes, etc BUT would pay to see the two of you in concert dressed as you are with a celebration of the Beatles music and your own music as well. Thanks ever so much for sharing all of this with all of us around the world! Cannot wait for more.

So would i pay to see them both dedicate & celebrate the excellent stylings of the beatles & not just cos McCartney was the lead and sounded alot better in his younger days.
This is a Brilliant cover of this classic Beatles song. I almost like it more than the original. Technique It is so clear and clean making it is better than all other covers I have ever heard. It rivals the original Beatles sound. Bravo for a note for note perfect performance.
I wonder if that might be due to the improvements in recording technology since the early 60s? :)

That bass playing is unbelievable.
Besides being just flat-out GREAT at this, the thing that makes them fun to watch is that they radiate such fun and joy doing it. That was a big part of the Beatles' appeal.

There is an old film video of the Beatles performing I Saw Her Standing There in a live performance-- I believe it was at a concert in Philadelphia either in 1964 or 1965. In that film, Ringo showed why he made the Beatles a world class band; during the instrumental part of the song which begins at about 1:35 into the track, Ringo put on a magnificent, heart-thumping performance with the sticks! Before the Beatles had signed Ringo to their band, they were considered a very good band. But they lacked that something extra that could put them at the top of the charts consistently. Ringo turned out to be the missing ingredient that took them to the very top of the music realm. Truly, you had 4 world class musicians in one band-- any one of them could have made it on their own, and indeed, each of them did go on to make more hits even after the break-up of the Beatles band. Amy and her partner do a nice rendition of this song, but whenever I hear this song, I think of Ringo Starr and those incredible fast sticks of his.

Revisited this song again Paul as I am now learning it. I have been a fan of The Beatles going back to the 60's and even though, I am still playing my guitars and have just joined a Band in our Retirement Village as Lead Guitarist nothing short of amazement and your music & lessons has really helped me to get there, so Paul Congrats and thank you, from Downunder in Australia.

Another fantastic cover! This is one of my favourite Beatles songs, such a great song and not even a single in the UK which shows how many great songs Lennon/McCartney wrote!
I actually like this cover as much as the original. Ringo’s drums make it in the original but man love the guitar in your version.

I used to listen to the beatles' version of this song while driving the long freeway ride on friday nights to primal therapy in 85. Something about the song made me sad. I guess it reminded me of some lonely times in my youth, listening to beatles while building monster models by myself, all alone in my house, in the 60's. j lennon also went to PT but left early to do some song-writing i guess.
Attention, Paul McCartney: Rather than continuing to tour with your current band, you' do well to sack them, and tour with Amy and her mates instead.
