  • Unfortunately, this light is no longer available on Amazon.
I found a nice little 36LED video light that I highly recommend if you need just a little extra light for shooting selfie video while on the move. It also works great as a flash replacement, or mini light for tabletop photography. Was less than $20 on Amazon and has a rechargeable lithium ion battery.

Yes, the audio is pretty crappy in this video. If you notice on my shirt I have a lav mic that I'm experimenting with. I haven't been happy with the audio in 90% of my videos. I recently bought a Zoom H4N, some lav mics and a good dynamic mic. Once I figure out the recipe for the best audio, I'll make a video and be able to say, "go listen to this other crappy sound on my other videos!" I tried to clean it up with the built in noise removal in Camtasia, but it made it worse. I could have cut it and processed it in Audacity and then dumped it back in. I also should have turned off the tiny fluorescent tubes over my desk because I think they add a lot of noise. I think the root of the problem is the $2 microphone though!

The audio in this video has a sort of "extra layer" (don't know what to call it) that is kind of harsh - I have no idea what's causing it.
