Is it really Allah who revealed these things before the creation of the heavens and earth into the lawhil mahfooz or is Muhammad making up revelations as he goes along? How is it that these things make sense to include in a book for all of humanity and all times? Should we be skeptical that a man who claims to speak to God and nobody can verify what God is saying continues to get special revelations for his personal benefit?

Aisha said to Mohamed: "I feel your Lord hastens in fulfilling your wishes and desires"
LOVE that bit of sarcasm towards Mohamed from Aisha exposing how suspiciously convenient it was that Allah was such a sycophantic Wing Man to Mohamed. What Bukhari doesn''t record is that she rolled her eyes as she said it. :-)

Also I found it strange that when I was Muslim that when we say Mohamed, we had to say peace and blessings be upon him right after but, when we say Allah we weren’t obligated to say anything after? It kind of sounded like we worshiped Mohamed and not Allah (God) really. I can’t believe I use to believe in this shit.

I believe Muhammad is representative of Islamic culture, and so he is more an idea than a person. All the hadiths and variants of the Qur'an grew out of that idea like roots from a seed, and people may believe anything negative regarding the prophet is also negative toward themselves and their culture. You probably know a lot more about it than I do. In the words of Zakir Naik, I hope that answers the question.

I got into an about half hour discussion with a Muslim, a discussion that was about what he perceived as "miracles of the Quran". The miracles were really amazingly far from being miracles for a number of reasons. What I found interesting were not miracles but instead someone who had been indoctrinated into seeing fictional tales based on no evidence, and easily explained events, as miracles. It was really a very interesting discussion for reasons not anticipated.

But then I weigh up the evidence against and listen to guys like this and it equally makes sense
I'm leaning towards thinking there is a creator and there is something in religion but it's such a minefield with deep questions that need to be answered I think I'm going to end my days agnostic.

If there is evidence against Islam (which is the case) then accept it, and leave Islam for good, under the premise that God can't be flawed. You're basically going through everything what I used to go through in the past, and I used to be a very religious and practicing muslim back then. Now I consider myself to be an ex-muslim agnostic. I still believe that there could be a God (even though it does seem to be that the case of there not being a God is more likely), but I don't believe in any kind of religion. I'd rather shape my mind by myself according to what I perceive to be the truth than to let an uneducated, illeterate, unmoral warlord from the 7th century do it for me.

    Quran put to the test.
(Sura 4:82) Do they not ponder on the Qur'an? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much discrepancy.
Arabic: (Sura 4:82) [82] Maka apakah mereka tidak memperhatikan Al Qur'an? Kalau kiranya Al Qur'an itu bukan dari sisi Allah, tentulah mereka mendapat pertentangan yang banyak di dalamnya.Internal contradictions.
(Quran 35:41, 40:64, 26:61) Humans created from a Blood Clot? (Quran 96:2, 22:5, 23:14). Surah 23:14 - Claims that the bones of the fetus are created before the flesh. Male sperm, Sura 86 6-7, Yusuf Ali He is created from a drop of emitted-Proceeding from between the BACKBONE and the RIBS: This is an error and totally wrong. Sperm or even semen does not come from between the backbone and the ribs. How is it possible that the creator who knows it all does not know where semen comes from. Alexander the Great: According to the Quran (Surah 18:89-98) Alexander the Great was a devout Muslim and lived to a ripe old age. Historical records, however, show that Alexander the Great died young at 33 years of age (b. 356 B.C. - d. 323 B.C.) Quran shows errors in historical, scientific and religious facts. So how can a book that by its own rules can be proven to not to be from god can still be followed by so many as an ongoing faith/religion? It is beyond belief that this load of rubbish is still being believed by so many people.

Its a very good question. Many of the patriachs, such as Abraham and Moses, most historical scholars believe they never existed. Watch this: ruclips.net/video/pl2IHrh101Q/видео.html
Regarding Jesus. I'm undecided. There seems to be two camps here. Maybe he did (Bart Ehrman) or maybe he didn't (Dr Carrier)
Regarding Muhammad. I strongly believe he existed, but there may be a lot in the story which is wrong. See here: abdullahsameer.com/blog/was-muhammad-from-petra-or-makkah/

      Thanks

    • @HassanRaza-xb5qc
      @HassanRaza-xb5qc 7 лет назад +1

      Open Mind
what I am saying.. we believe God sends revelations to his prophets. He gives them certain favours and also reprimands to make them grow.
For example the Qibla change? The prophet loved makkah and the kaaba was built by the father Ibrahim. The prophet use to pray to jersulam due to the oneness of God. When they reached Madina. Prophet wanted the qibla point of direction for prayer to change to Makkah the kaaba. God did this favour for his prophet this marked a new nation and capital for islam. What is wrong with this?
The Zainab issue is quite clear from the Quran. The prophets come to also reform societies. Need to understand the rules arabia had and why this change had to be done
Regarding the ayah do not enter the prophets home. again the prophets home was very tiny. Muslims were in big numbers. Many would just rock up enter in without permission. So it was setting some rules with the prophets household.
The last two points are clear also. I think Abdullah needs to calm down a bit.
      Anyway Peace

You see. There is a possibility that there used to be other planets among in the solar system, which might've been the cause of Mars planet's destruction of magnetic field and oxygen within it (knowing that Mars had water), so it being missing (possibly blown up by unknown reasons), gives in questions. Did Islam back 1400 years ago have 1 moon and 1 sun? Did it ever know any other things in the sky like planets? In Q'uran or such?

    1. When the munafiqun (hypocrites) come to you (O Prophet), they say, “We bear witness that you are certainly the Messenger of Allah”, and surely Allah knows that you are His Messenger, but Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are truly liars.
    2. They have made their (false) oaths as a shield, hindering (others) from the way of Allah. Evil indeed is what they do.
    3. This is because they believed and then abandoned faith. Therefore, their hearts have been sealed, so they do not comprehend.
    4. When you see them, their appearance impresses you. And when they speak, you listen to their (impressive) speech. But they are (just) like (worthless) planks of wood leaned (against a wall). They think every cry is against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. May Allah condemn them! How can they be deluded (from the truth)?
    5. When it is said to them, “Come! The Messenger of Allah will pray for you to be forgiven,” they turn their heads (in disgust), and you see them (O Prophet) turn away in arrogance.
    6. It is the same whether you pray for their forgiveness or not, Allah will not forgive them. Surely Allah does not guide the rebellious people.
    7. They are the ones who say (to one another), “Do not spend (anything) on those (emigrants) with the Messenger of Allah so that they will break away (from him).” But to Allah (alone) belong the treasures of the heavens and the earth, yet the munafiqun do not comprehend.
    8. They say, “If we return to Medinah, the honourable will definitely expel the weaker ones.” But all honour and power belongs to Allah, His Messenger, and the believers, yet the hypocrites do not know.
    9. O you who believe! Do not let your wealth or your children divert you from the remembrance of Allah. For whoever does so, it is they who are the losers.
    10. And spend (in charity) from what We have provided for you before death comes to one of you, and you cry, “My Lord! If only You delayed me for a short while, I would give in charity and be one of the righteous.”
    11. But Allah never delays a soul when its appointed time comes. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.
    [Q63>1-11]

That's because God punished him for being wicked and an imposter. What does the Qur'an say about Prophets that make up revelations? -> They got their Aorta severed. How did Muhammad die? Narrated 'Aisha (Bukhari 5.713:
The Prophet in his ailment in which he died, used to say, "O 'Aisha! I still feel the pain caused by the food I ate at Khaibar, and at this time, I feel as if my aorta is being cut from that poison."
      Surah 69:44-46
And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings, We would have seized him by the right hand; Then We would have cut (sever) from him the aorta.
Ergo, Muhammad while he was dying confessed that he is at least a wicked prophet (like Balaam/Luqman, King Saul) who received some revelation but mixed it up with falsehood and/or impure intentions, or he was just an complete imposter. Maybe Muhammad relized that the revelations he thought came from Gabriel actually were delivered by a shaytan.
