This is really The Most Traditional Lebanese Tabbouleh Recipe! Without any ' additives and extras', in other words, Tabbouleh as it has to be! Thanks a lot!
This isn't traditional at all. A lot of alterations.
In 1992 living in Syria and a friend invited me to eat whit him and then I had this salad. Man till today I still taste it in my mouth.
I love Lebanese food, it’s simply exquisite and so healthy ! Greetings from a Greek-Norwegian born in the U.S.
The most impressive thing about this video is how precisely he slices
I love with the way you explain and prepare your recipes. This is so delicious.

You have excellent chopping skills! I'm sure there's a culinary term for that... I'm wondering what additions can be put into the recipe on occasion. I once had tabbouleh with fennel and mint and it was quite delicious. Anything else to experiment with?
Good question! Thank you for stopping by . Always a twist in any recipe you can sub the crushed wheat with quinoa its popular too👍stay safe
Add some chopped cucumber. It gives it a wonderful fresh taste.
I often add a finely chopped chilli pepper or chilli flakes for an extra kick.
Love eating nutrient dense foods. Thanks for this!
You're so welcome!🙂👍
You guys sure like parsley. Main ingredient in your shawarma and sovlaki toppings too. the family all said 'use less parsley'. Using so much tastes a little weird to us.

That looks so tasty. I can't wait to make this myself!
👏👏👏👏👏 Looks delicious!!!😋😋😋😋
Wow .amazing
While I respect and like this classic tabouleh, I am inclined to alter mine periodically. I love adding pomegranate seeds and capers, for example. The sweet/tart balance is perfect for me! Sometimes I will serve "the basic" alongside bowls of add-ons as well. And hibiscus tea is a great accompaniment.
Awesome
Yummy love tabboule very tasty nd h

Have tried your recipe a few times & it turns out always good. Just one query though, what kind of pomegranate juice do u use in your tabouleh? Is it fresh juice, is it like the one in long life boxes? I would really like to know so next time I can use it. Thank you for all your videos. I have tried Baba ganouj recipe too. 👏
Thank you for the comment 🙂 yes i use fresh squeezed pomegranate it gives you the sweet and sour taste , please stay safe 👍
Looks fabulous-‼️ I need to hit the Sprouts produce department first. ??? I keep dry bulgur wheat and have some precooked in the refrigerator in order to make a tabbouli salad. Is yours precooked and if so please provide information? Thank you immensely ‼️
Thank you for your comment 🙂 you dont have to cook the bulgur you can soak them in warm water for 20 minutes👍
Letscookolet - I’ve got the wheat handled, thanks. Unfortunately I arrived at the produce market last night and inventory on greens were limited. I saw the curly parsley and then nearby, the flat leaf-just as a reached over to grab 2 bunches- those annoying sprinklers went off. Quickly bagged them-> when reviewing my payment receipt back at home, I realized that I grabbed cilantro in error. Start over😊
Nice 👍
Thanks for the visit🙂👍please stay safe
Thanks very mach i like
We miss eating fatoush Chef ...here in Toronto..hard to get mikti and ba2leh...are u in California? You guys have perclain or ba2leh?
WOW!! Looks delicious! I've never used pomegranate juice, but I'm going to try it next time!
Hope you enjoy👍
Some people leave out the pomegranate, so is it a very different taste without this?
I would eat tabuli daily ..mmmmmmmm
I am from India , how do we make burghul here. Pls explain
Are you using pure pomegranate juice from a bottle or make it yourself from a pomegranate? I've never seen a bottle of pomegranate juice in a store.
What knife are you sinning? It slices right through easy and clean. Please, brand and website if you do not mind. Thank you.
Thank you for your comment 🙂 capital cutlery or white stone kitchen supply 👍

AMAZING DELICIOUS 🥗 THANKS YOU GOODNESS 🌟❤️🖤💚🤎 FAMILY DAPHNE COTTON ALWAYS 💜 AWESOME BEAUTIFUL ✨,
Can you use sumac for a sour taste?
I do often. I actually do a lemon/lime/garlic marinade with sumac in my fridge for this and other dishes. Yum.
you don't have to cook the Bulgur before using it ??
Yumm?😮
The promenade juice can be replace with balsamic it would work or not ?????thanks
Sounds a good idea i never try it before worth to try and thank you for the tips 🙂👍
No no and no.
Use lime, Sumac, lemon salt, green grape sour sauce
My mum never soaked the burgal…she would put the tomatoes over it and let it sit…that was enough
Thank you for your support🙂 nice tip thank you 👍
why dont u use the white part of spring onion ?
Thanks for your comment👍 nice to watch the small details i like that, yes for some reason i always pickled the white part in red wine vinegar for myself so thats why i didnt use it 🙂 Thank you for supporting the channel 👍 please stay safe
👏👏👏✌️
🙏
👍👍👍
What are the measurements?
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love eating it with cabbage ..raw cabbage instead of romaine ..if not available..
Thank you bro🙂 have you ate tabbouleh with sorrel leaves ? its really good👍
@@Letscookolet wow...learn a new thing everyday..been working produce almost all my life...no..can't say that I have..in Canada ..I don't think I seen Sorrel. I will investigate hehe thx
Try it with raw fresh grapes leaves
@@28Justchecking yes did that once hehe
I like the idea except I am tomato intolerant as they burn my stomach
👌👌👌👌👌🙏
Thank you for stopping by 🙂👍
Why do you not use the white part of the scallion?
Tradition, since many consider it too strong a taste. Personally, I use it since I love strong tastes. It's all a matter of balance.
No cinnamon or all spice?
Lebanese tabouleh is my favorite salad. Thx, I've never added pomegranate juice😮
Thank you for your support 🙂 yes and you can add pomegranate syrup as well if you want👍
Where do you buy pomegranite juice?
pomegranate juice available in any major grocery stores if you go to Mediterranean grocery store you can find pomegranate molasses that even better 👍🙂
@@Letscookolet thank you. I never used it before. I’ll try it next week when we shop and cook.
Original tabbouleh does not contain pomegranate juice.
👏👏👏👍😋
Can I add cucumber?
Thanks for stopping by 🙂 Yes you can , some people use the cucumber peel as well 👍
❤️
Thank you for your support 🙂please stay safe👍
These are extra and can be skippable: Pomegranate juice, mint, green onion, and no need for pepper.
