Yoke front tops are only flattering for small busted gals. If over A size don’t bother. Just like in the pics you showed. Small busted gals only . Love your videos thanks for the coupon codes
I have many LoveNotions patterns, and many wonderful pieces of fabric, and I haven’t sewn any garments since last summer. I will not allow myself to buy another pattern until I sew at least 1 item. So, I’d better get started so I can finish a garment before the sale ends.
I have most of those patterns. I want to make the Tinelys but I need mine longer. I know they have a shorten/lengthen line, but is it okay to add 4 inches to that? I was afraid it was too much and wouldn't hang correctly. I'm 70 now and like my shorts closer to my knees. Thanks for another great video. Can't wait to see "Sew the look"..
I would honestly try with 4 inches added to the length to start and then if it's too long, you can always shorten the hem by in increments to find what works best for you.
Love these patterns and would love to do a class, I am really interested in the Coda quilted jacket. It is amazing to me how versatile these patterns are Whitney,❤️
So many good patterns. Quite a few I liked. Especially the Frankie Dress. I’m getting ready to order some fabric from a new site called Rickrack textiles and this is the awesome part l entered a drawing here on RUclips from another sewist and I won a $100.00 gift card to RickRack textiles shop. I almost fell out of my seat when my name came up on RUclips screen and she(Janine Sews) announced my name. Another person also won. So everybody enter those contests. Several months back I also won a book on fitting by Palmer & Plesch from Joy Bernhardt.
Congratulations on winning Janine Sews gift certificate to Rick Rack Textiles! It is my local sewing shop and I’ve found the quality is very good and staff is super friendly. I hope you love your fabric ♥️ if you have a Seamwork membership they offer a discount as well 😊.
Oh yay, I went to the website to buy the Lenox even though I said I wouldn’t buy anything until I finished at least one garment, and I already own it!!! I can sew it for my garment.
Thank you! Just took advantage of your coupon to get the Legato jeans (hearing full butt option got my interest!), and their basic t-shirt to try the full cup option (vs modifying yet another...).
@@TomKatStitchery I did pick up the Frankie and I am making the dress in a mid weight ponte :). Just curious if you think I could add a single welt pocket in the front. I don’t want inseam pockets and I don’t have enough fabric for patch pockets. I am thinking if I used really thin slippery fabric it might work
The Tinnley reminds me of the "Hot Pants" from the 70's...taking me back to my teens.
🤣🤣🤣 The Tinnley has deep roots!

It's a great week to sit down and sew!

Brand new manufacturer quilts would be a good choice to make into clothing.
Agreed! Also if you are a thrifter-keeping your eye out for one to reuse.
Made two of these, shirts, love them!
YAY!
Just love the Lenox.

What would a sewist's room look like if there weren't at least 4 projects going at once?? 🤣🤣🤣
I was on the fence about the Frankie, but you convinced me to buy it. I watch and love all of your videos, but these are my favorites.
I'm so glad they are helpful!
Hi Whitney! Great, you didn't mention it, but their Rhapsody blouse is a goal to sew this year!😊
The Rhapsody is a great pattern. I even hacked it into a dress! ruclips.net/video/smucsLwdDgc/видео.htmlfeature=shared
I like the look of the Largos. Great roundup thankyou
You are so welcome! The Largos are a great pant to sew!
I am definitely getting the Frankie top!
It's so good!
Almost 35,000 subs🎉
❤️❤️❤️

Nice! I hope you have fun sewing them!
The only pattern not in my library is the juliet top. I'm unsure about that one - those pleats at the bust maybe a bit much for me
I hear that from a lot of people.
I need to get the Frankie.
Yes you do!

@@michellem3899I think that would work and be really cute!
