I used to this Giovanni Tea Tree Shampoo as my clarifying shampoo. I am finally to the end of the bottle. I love the way it deep cleans my hair but I don't like how my hair feels afterwards. Nice review.
I think you’ll love the Giovanni Smooth as Silk Line Better if you choose to try it. The shampoo from that line is a staple in my stash and just recently trying the conditioner from that like I love adding it to moisturizing DCs to give it a strengthening boost. It really smooths my hair and leaves it smooth, frizz free and strong.
I can’t bring myself to prepoo again. I tried it once when I had product build up in my hair and the oil reactivated it and my hair felt so slimy. I love your wash day videos. ❤️
I LOVE the smooth as silk and 50/50 Giovanni The tea tree line was very drying on my hair the smooth as silk conditioner I can finger detangle and the 50/50 conditioner When I need a light protein with a lot of moisture (I don’t use the Giovanni shampoos my hair no likey) let me 🏃🏾♀️ to Marshall’s and buy out the shelf 😩
Jeanette, thanks for posting this video... I love how in-depth you are and I love the way you give your hair the TLC it needs and craves. I'l have to give this line a try :-D
that's because the shampoo is meant to be more on the clarifying side. So, you aren't really supposed to have that moisturized feeling at the end. it is going to strip the hair similar to an all purpose shampoo. if you look on the back of giovanni products they are listed on a spectrum from clarify to moisturize and you can use it as a guide to determine what product you want. most ppl follow up a clarifying shampoo or an all purpose shampoo with a moisturizing shampoo before they apply a conditioner depending on the results they want.
I used to Giovanni tea tree shampoo on my scalp and only on my hair if I feel it needs to be clarified and when I clarify with it then I follow up with the second shampoo using the smooth as silk Giovanni and the Giovanni direct leave in conditioner is excellent. If you haven't tried that you may want to but the tea tree is a bit drying but the shampoo follow up kind of corrects that problem for me.
I'm not sure if you've tried it or not, but if have, how would you compare this shampoo/ conditioner, to the Paul Mitchell tea tree line, or even the trader Joe's tea tree line? Great review as always 😊 Have a blessed day!
Tymina Spearman thank you 💕 that depends on the individual, their schedule, activities, daily routine, dry/flaky/itchy scalp, etc. for me, once a week is good
Now the one in the green I absolutely hate but like Jeanette, I tried it when I was still transitioning so now that I'm all natural perhaps I should try it again. I know she tried the Giovanni when her hair was dyed initially
tea tree line is more on the clarifying side and the avocado/olive oil line is more moisturizing so depending on what your hair needs you would alternate between the two
You should have gotten the 50:50 or the smooth as silk conditioner those are the moisturizing ones. The tea tree one is not really moisturizing. It even says so on the back of the bottle.
These products were a definite NO for my hair. I had such a hard time detangling and left it very dull. Very stripping The Smooth As Silk Deep Moisture worked a lot better. Try it out if you haven't already.
Will you try out inashi naturals. I purchased the entire line and I love it overall but the curling products did nothing for my wash and go but they are great for twist outs. it may be user error I'm not good at wash and gos. just want someone with my hair type to try the products.
Have you tried curlmix and or allnaturelle club hair products? Both I really love and I’m trying to reduce my brands that I use. There so many, Giovanni leave in is my OG. Curlyproverb reintroduce me to it. I remember using it a lot when I would press my hair and wear my mini individuals with human hair during HS ( bulk human hair wasn’t as costly as now)
Have you tried the Giovanni smooth as silk shampoo and conditioner? I haven't tried the shampoo yet, but the conditioner detangles my hair instantly! I leave it on for about 3-5 minutes and my curls pop so hard and stay so moisturized that I can do no product wash and goes for a few days after
I looooveeee Giovanni since 2010.. great stuff.
mz Tremias I’m glad you like it 🙌🏽
@@jeanettejbeauty6374 yes it does wonders 4 my thick hair. 💕
I love the TLC you put into your curls

Hunny Gyrl thank you 🥰 I definitely do💕

I love Giovanni!! I've been using them since 2012! That shampoo is very soothing on the scalp. Great video!

Great Video!! Today is going to be my wash day as I prepare my hair for some mini twist. Happy Saturday!
Nicole Barnes thank you 💕 I was thinking to do mini twists or twists soon
@@jeanettejbeauty6374 Your Welcome!!! That will be great 😊
I always enjoy ur hair wash videos so informative about products.😄
I love ❤️ all of your wash day routines I must try these products
Felicia Dunn think you 🙌🏽
This shampoo made my hair squeaky clean/dry feeling but I might try a pre poo treatment before using it again
Zuri Saunders yes it did a little and I pee pooed too

Try the balanced 50:50 shampoo. It s hydration clarifying shampoo, so the hair won't feel as dry but feels very clean after.
@@kathleenadeshoga8415 is the shampoo on the seesomecurls list?

lealea j I didn’t really like the the teaser Joe’s line 🙃

L B 1993brownsuga thank you 😊
I started pre-poo my hair especially since it’s low porosity another informative video thx! ❤️😊
Lovely hair, I have a question! Can you tell me how often a person should wash their hair to obtain or maintain healthy growing hair?
Tymina Spearman thank you 💕 that depends on the individual, their schedule, activities, daily routine, dry/flaky/itchy scalp, etc. for me, once a week is good
I liked the Giovanni tea tree line, but I prefer the avocado Giovanni line in the green bottle
KellyJelly9976 haven’t seen that one before
Yes. I love that shampoo
Yes it’s way better!
Now the one in the green I absolutely hate but like Jeanette, I tried it when I was still transitioning so now that I'm all natural perhaps I should try it again. I know she tried the Giovanni when her hair was dyed initially

Can you do a review on the new Palmer's castor oil line I saw it at Sally's today!
Jay Smart ok I will 💕
Please!!!!
Sis if only you was close to me I say can you play in my hair lol it came out nice ❤️👌🏽
I love your reviews!!! Thank you for review.
If I wash my 4c hair like that 😲the tangle and knot will be real sis
My hair didn't like the tea tree tingle either but the deeper moisture smooth as silk is great.
You should have gotten the 50:50 or the smooth as silk conditioner those are the moisturizing ones. The tea tree one is not really moisturizing. It even says so on the back of the bottle.
What's the difference between the 50:50 one and the smooth as silk? I have 2b hair and I don't know which to get
@@Alexandra-sj7ux smooth as silk has protein. 50:50 is protein free. I prefer the 50:50 conditioner.
That's all I used tea tee or 50/50 love the products.
Thank you 😊
Is it suitable for low porosity & protein sensitive natural hair?
I think you would like the smooth as silk line much better.
Heyyy!! Really big fan! Was wondering if you could do a video of how your hair would look if you didn’t put product on it after washing it
ilu should always shampoo twice especially when u have low porosity hair
These products were a definite NO for my hair. I had such a hard time detangling and left it very dull. Very stripping The Smooth As Silk Deep Moisture worked a lot better. Try it out if you haven't already.
Yes the Giovanni Eco chic line and the white bottles, aside from the tea tree shampoo, seem to be really good on most types of hair
I noticed that you have that one curl in the back that always does its own thing lol.
#JJBeautyGang! 🙋🏾♀️❤ Been wanting to try this line love your Review. ✔
Myrna Joseph thank you Myrna 🤗
I look forward to your videos. Thanks for your video.
I really wish you would have tried the deep moisture one.
maybe another time
@@jeanettejbeauty6374 yeah it's the bomb!
Ohh I wanted you to try this line 😍
In The Name of Love ☺️
I like to use the tea tree shampoo to clarify once a month. I never tried that conditioner but I would like to try that mask. Thank you for sharing
Great video!! Have you thought about trying CurlMix? I would love it if you do a video on that.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this line.
I love your personality ☺️
That tea tree shampoo dried my hair out so bad 😩 i like their olive oil conditioner though
Thanks, it’s on sale right now and I was wondering about it, I’m still not sure 😅
Love this video bless up girl
Wow so pretty hair
You gotta tell us how to tell if our hair is clumping together or not.
