I like the idea, don't like the slogans (lol)
      1) GOP: does not work well with others.
      2) I will listen to anybody unless you GOP away my rights.
      3) GOP needs to ask permission. Too handsy.

We all know that there is one more word all Rethuglicons hate to say, "Democracy." That's because it sounds like what party? The Democratic party & God forbid, USA resembles those damn Liberals! You know that's exactly what Rethuglicons are doing here.
In that vein, Rethuglicons always knew that the less Americans vote, the better chances for the reichwing to win. A Rethuglicon party advisor back in the 1980s said this publicly, Paul Weyrich.
So from then on, Rethuglicons goal was to reduce voter turnout and suppress the vote as much as possible. With help from their own state legislatures to the rightwing majority on SCOTUS, they have done all they can to make this happen.
There are ppl, fighters like Mark Elias and Obama's AG, Eric Holder who have been aggressively doing all they can in the past decade to reverse all of that. But it takes work and money to legally reverse this reichwing fascist damage.
We all need to get involved to save our selves!

The large TX cities vote blue, are blue. Yet because of gerrymandering, the electoral college- you would never know that. I’m born, bred Texan - I’ve been all over this state- for work mostly. It baffles me that people think we’re a conglomerate of red voters. The red politicians from our state have ruined our rep.

I live in Washington state where everyone votes by mail. I've been voting this way for over 15 years, it's so convenient to sit at my table to do it and then use drop boxes placed at many libraries and community centers. It's the 21st century and nobody want to wait in a line if they don't have to.

Ex- Oklahoman in Oregon now. We have automatic registration and all mail voting. It's awesome! You get your ballot a few weeks beforehand, and you have time to sit down at your computer and look up all the candidates in all the races. After you've made informed decisions, you just sign the envelope and mail it back or drop it off at a public drop box. The envelope also has a barcode associated with each voter to verify the legitimacy of the ballot. Secure and easy.

President Biden is doing absolutely nothing to replace Dejoy! Remember when he destroyed all those mail sorting machines around election time??
Why aren't Americans all up in arms over Dejoy & privatization of our mail system???

It’s not the Senate, it’s the cap put on the House in the 1920’s. It also caps the number of electoral college votes each state has. So, more urban states have less representation than rural states. Check it out. That’s what is skewing the elections.

When Trump won the Presidency I was actually so depressed and I didn't even live in your country but I just knew the damage he would be able to do. • @andreah6379
      @andreah6379 7 месяцев назад

Good point! The problem isn't "big government" as Rethuglicons love to phrase it.
The problem is what our government--our politicians in this government plan to do with their powers.
They could chose to help more ppl by staffing IRS with the educated agents to go after big earners that are deadbeats & haven't paid their taxes in years or the government can chose to harass young pregnant women who are running out of their state to get an abortion--and then waste more taxpayer $$$ to convict and jail them.
Rethuglicon misuse and abuse their powers. That's the only downside to big government. The very thing Rethuglicons all bitch about is what they all want to do to us; use government to control our lives. Take away all our privacy and rights.

It just so happens that we have another tribe that is extremely paranoid and controlling and extremely regressive in US today: Rethugliconism and those ppl, though they are a minority, are the ones with big money--the greedy rich billionaires that mostly own our media, control what we read & hear about our government. That means Americans are more apt to listen to those pro-fascist, anti-democracy voices and NOT DO what Americans--the vast majority of us need to get done when composing that new Constitution & enacting it.
Just to change that document is an uphill battle. Democrats and leftwing voters are very disorganized!!! "Herding a roomful of cats" ..as Pelosi use to say.
There is danger ahead when making any change and we have to include these anti-democracy reichwing voices.
More Americans need to wake up to all that's at stake before any changes are made. When will that happen???

They always have said that the reason people left England and came here was because religious freedom, wasn't England Christian too? There are probably as many reasons as there were people making the journey. The real reason "separation of church and state" was put into the constitution was because of Salem, Mass. 1692. This is the "Great America" they want to go back too?

England was Christian, but has no separation of church and state. The Pilgrims’ extremist religious beliefs put the at odds with the Church of England. They were politically subversive. Their choices were to shut up about their beliefs, be executes or leave the country. It’s easy to see why the founders espoused both religious freedom and separation of church and state.

I HATED living in the Midwest BUT i made excellent friends living there. They were just like these ladies!
I found that since everything was so oppressively RED that we BLUES really stood out.
That actually made it easier to find people like me! We all had to be loud, atheist, gay, str8 not narrow, etc- because we were under fire everyday.
I love all my Midwest friends!
    And i hate everyone else.

In Brazil, voting is mandatory, however you can still abstain by paying a small (very small) fee. Voting is incredibly easy, it’s just one day, a Sunday; if you work Sundays your employer is obligated to allow you to leave; your voting location is a school near you, we use voting machines, lines are short as there are plenty of voting rooms; you walk in, press the buttons, get your “receipt” and leave. You can also walk into the voting room and press blank on the machine. We have a direct democracy so same day results. I truly don’t understand why in America it’s so complicated to vote, why the electoral college is still a thing and how there hasn’t been a massive public outrage at this lol!

Americans have to stop voting like they are voting for a football team… When I hear someone say they are for example a third generation republican voter all I can think is how the hell has that helped? Give me a break😢 Everyone should be a swinging voter and vote for the party that’s is best for the country at that time …. Wake up people

The overwhelming amount of the government, and social services provided by the government are not paid by Nebraska or Wyoming, or even North and South Dakota combined. They are paid for mostly by the powerhouse blue states that the right really loves criticising for their policies that "spend too much of government money." This is effectively taxation without representation, and it's the major conduit as to why America was founded. Republicans almost always get their way in halting or impeding our spending on policies the senators that the majority of our country voted for try to put forth, especially in the supreme court now.
It's ridiculous to think they're a majority. Frankly, the majority of people aren't political at all, and when our rights are effectively taken away do apolitical people start voting. I don't think there's ever been a republican policy that has given us more rights in my lifetime.

Three reasons we Aussies get voting right...we vote on a Saturday, you can buy a sausage sandwich on exit with onions and tomato sauce (ketchup) and we dont need voter ID. Just rock up to your local voting place usually a school, give your name, DOB and address, get handed forms big enough to wall paper your house and vote away. You can go rouge and vote for the marijuana party for the House of Reps or legalise koala same sex marriage we dont judge 😅😅😅. But the person that wins receives rent free accommodation at Kirribilli House located on Sydney Harbour. This is how Australian we get it, the official residence is in Canberra at The Lodge but living on Sydney Harbour is way better. We agreed fair enough.

WHY CAN'T WE VOTE THRU OUR COMPUTERS.?
THEY ARE SECURE ENOUGH FOR BANKING, BILL PAY,
AND MAKING PURCHASES. THE PEOPLE WHO DON'T
HAVE A COMPUTER COULD VOTE ON THE COMPUTERS
IN LIBRARIES. SURELY THIS IS A DOABLE THING.

Do you seriously believe that the computers couldn't .be hacked? The Russians are salivating at the idea. And there are more polling places than libraries. This would make voting even more difficult. I vote by mail, have for many years. Early voting by ballot drop box is also convenient. By the way, your caps lock is stuck on.
