How do you keep them from hitting the windows?

We don't. Part of it is simply showing them that it exists, so putting them on the window sill and letting them tap it with their beak to understand there's an invisible wall there. You can put stickers on the window to help them understand its there too. But truth be told its something they teach them self. Our girls don't tend to pick up much speed indoors and usually after bumping a window once, maybe twice, they quickly learn they can't get through. It's a scenario where you can do all the training and teach them right, but it'll still take one or 2 bumps into the window for them yo understand they can't cross it. Neither of my girls have bumped into a window more than once or twice. They some how taught themselves, that if there's a window frame, there's a barrier there.

I have a question: I have a blue headed pionus. If I were to clicker train her, I know I have to repeat a lot of times. How many times do u repeat during a traing session and doesn't that add up to a lot of fatty treats as a reward? I am not sure how often to train and how many treats (sunflower seeds?) to give.

I believe the general rule is no more than 2 almond sized nuts (chopoed), or one whole teaspoon of seeds/nuts.
I use pine nuts for general tricks and almonds (his fave) for new tricks and recall training. I train 1-3 times a day (depending on my schedule) which works well for him. I measure out his treat allowance in the morning and spread it out for his training sessions for the day. Pionus are super sensitive to protein so can't have as many nuts/seeds/fatty treats as some other species

Can a pionus ever get along with another parrot also can they be potty trained (:?

All parrots have the potential to be toilet trained, and whether they get along is up to the birds themselves. Just like us they are individuals with their own likes and dislikes, these likes and dislikes include other birds and people
