By far, that was the fastest installation guide for Batocera that I have ever seen! 😉 I have been a big fan of your channel for quite some time. As usual, great stuff!
In the usa this is the way to go. You can get an used mini pc i3 4130t with 4gb and 500gb mechanical hard drive for 80 bucks (less if you dont include the power adapter) . It has 4 logical cores and turbos up to 3.3 ghz. It wont play ps2 great but will 2x resolution some gamecube games. It's funny how hard it is to find a good batocera image. I laugh when wicked show the 2tb batocera drive for sale off aliexpress because that seems to be one of the best options for people with little time. It's so weird how their are multiple 512 gb retropie images but batocera has been neglected. Most of the images I can find have roms not in English. Seems like batocera is big in Spanish or French speaking areas. Of course you will get the best performance using window 10s drivers. That's why coinops for pc is the way to go. Not only run emulators but game native pc games on an easy to use front end. Once you use even a 7 year old pc you wont want to go back to all the hassle of configuring these arm cpus to run emuelec just to end up with only ok dreamcast performance. But I do enjoy seeing these products get cheaper and cheaper because they make awesome gifts.

At this price this is actually a hell of a deal. You get a pretty capable Windows PC that can even have a SATA drive in it for less than infinitely weaker Android boxes featuring more high-end chips like the S922X.
One more vote for a used option. They are readily available and don't have to wait months to get your hands on one, while offering more performance. Being used, lower price is a given. That said, this one is actually well priced and seems quicker than I expected. Not a bad buy at all.
Thanks for letting us know about this product but I feel it's far beyond my comfort level in getting all set up. Wish this was a plug and play unit, even for far more money.

A good review. I think the biggest advantage with something like this is the small form factor. Personally I would spend the money on a used laptop, which would give better performance (but would be less space-efficient).
The Tiny Lenovo PC that ETA Prime showed a fwe times is WAYYYY Better.And can be had cheaper,in the US anyways.Have several of them & the Elitedesk 800 G1 DM (Mini),just as good.
Too expensive for the performance you get... you could get a used mini PC this size from Lenovo, HP or Dell with an i3 or even i5 processor for that price and theyre much more powerful than this Celeron Box. They usually come with a hard drive and 4GB RAM which you can easily upgrade to an SSD and 8GB of ram.

For samsung, You can get the phone at around half the price a year and half after it comes out. same goes for ear buds, huge savings. I don't use my phone besides making calls and very light app use. PC is the way to go.

Very interesting! The test resuts that it's similar to an android box. For this money, I bought a used Dell 3060 i3-8100T that have the Intel UHD630 video chipset. This is Vulkan capable! I put an SSD, but it can be used also a m.2 disk, and it runs also Nintendo Switch & Sony PS3! 😍😍🤩🤩🤩
A friend bought exactly the same setup, but video previews of the games don't appear at all. Instead, he gets a screenshot and then a blank screen that says "no video". But in this video, previews seem to work fine. What gives?
I have the original super console x and CANNOT get the factory remote to work with most games even after I set it up and assign all of the buttons. And the only way I can exit a game to get back to the menu is to turn the box off and then back on. I have watched mostly all of your videos and everything seems to run smooth for you. Is there a secret "exit" key?? Help is most appreciated. Just wanting my 7 year old to experience some of the good old stuff.
hmm i wonder what intel might have in for us with this one but i just had a hunch if good old intel or amd has something for us well since i am a mac user when it comes with arm m1 cpu which it was new such as m1 original m1 pro and m1 max.

There are certain games that are known to push limits and have performance issues on certain chips. It is a way of showing how performance compares to other units.
Look at all those consoles he gets. Maybe I should figure out how to contact these people and have them send me these things. I am disabled from pain and have nothing but time and if I made a video unlike these guys I find all over RUclips you after watching my videos would have no doubt what so ever what the console is capable of and what games they have. And I'd also answer your questions that these guys never answer like how to turn them on or off and can you save the games so you can continue playing them. And I would let you know how easy of hard they are to navigate. It's amazing that when I read all of your comments you actually think these are great videos. In the end you need to decide if you buy something or not ... not me. 👌 Not to forget you like to play PS1 games ? ok that is awesome and many options are there. PS1 runs fine on the S905X3 android boxes so an Super Console X Max Plus is fine. PC's have more power so you can upscale is with 2x resolutions leaving the question what res. you like to play in the end.

I pretty much like most all games but I love the long games with monsters and treasure like Witcher fallout 4 the old final fantasy games dragon quest the most. Dungeon crawlers turn based games things like age of empires also. So far from all the videos I have watched from you and others is that the GT king of the retro station is the best is this true? And when I look up the bee link GT king it has 49000 60,000 117,000 games so I just get confused. Is the one with more games better or are they just more duplicates in multiple languages. I am just older and don't know much about this world all I know is I would like someone to tell me the best one to buy and I will buy it right now anything under 500 dollars hopefully closer to 2 to 300 would be better though. I don't need Internet but most likely the best one will be a computer which is fine with me. Thank for responding I appreciate it very much

Isnt Retrobat a better option on a windows system... That supports almost any system thinkable... including some sega model2/3 games
