Whenever I see a Moose I always remember this particular time backcountry camping. It doesn't take away from the current experience. I am super grateful to Bob for capturing this one as much as he did. Keep in mind this is an approximately 15 min video and the moose were with us for more then 24 hours! Thanks for watching and commenting as always!

Great footage of the moose(s)... Lots of moose up in the Rain / Sawyer Lake area but it is amazing how comfortable they are with people around... certainly something to cherish... same great campsite on Sawyer that I camp at. The best site on the Lake in my opinion

It was indeed a special moment! I didn't know back then that moose were more common in that area even though I had transited few at least a few times by then. Bob and I tried to be as low key as possible so we could all enjoy the moment as much as possible. Really cool to be sharing it seven years later! Thanks for watching and for commenting!

Well it was just an all around amazing experience for us. There were a few moments there before the male came out of the woods that we were a bit nervous about if it would charge us or not. We just did our best to be invisible while quietly watching. It was an amazing experience and one that I am happy to share. Thank-you for watching and commenting!

That visit was totally awesome. To add to it after dark one of them was going to go through our campsite, there's rocks leading from the beach to to campsite which we heard it come up the rock so we made a quick fire and a lot of noise which changed it's mind. Later that night after we had gone to bed one did run through the campsite at full speed and was gone.

I remember worrying about waking up to a hoof squishing my head! :) Amazingly powerful memory seven years later!
