    If you want to optimise your community, there are some traits that are far better than others. One is "Eats like a bird". This makes the survivor eat 50% less food, and can give them the hero bonus "Meal Plan". Meal Plan reduces the food usage by your whole community by 25%. This can stack up to 3 times. Meaning your whole community can eat 75% less food on top of the 3 people with the trait themselves eating another 50% less. To give you an example... my Forever Community on Lethal difficulty, with 12 people, eats 5.8 food per day. Rather than the standard 24 food per day. Meaning one level 3 food outpost on Lethal can sustain my whole community.
    Another good trait is "Never been sick". This gives the survivor +100 infection resistance and can lead to the Hero Bonus "Hygiene Standards" which gives your whole community +100 infection resistance. This also stacks. So getting 3-4 people with this trait makes blood plague on any difficulty a literal nonissue.
    A third trait I like is either "Nomadic Sleeper" or "Can sleep anywhere" or "Sleeps on the ground". All of these traits make the survivor not use a bed, and can lead to the Hero Bonus "Outdoor Living" which gives another two beds to your community. If you get this trait with no fifth skill and teach them Sleep Psychology, that adds another two beds. Turning that survivor into a walking Barracks facility. I have two of these survivors in my Forever Community and it means all 12 of my people can sleep comfortably with just a Level 2 Lounge or a Bed outpost.
    A lot of people tend to go for traits which boost maximum health or stamina, but I tend to ignore them. They're decent in the early game while your survivors are still weak, but in the mid and late game your base offsets all of these skills if you build it properly and it's the Hero Bonuses themselves the traits give which become far, FAR more important. So I tend to build for the long term rather than the short term. The benefits far outweigh the risks. Although you can do both, by pre-rolling characters with the traits listed above, putting them into your legacy pool, then recruiting them in during the mid and late game when your base is set up and you have an influence income.

    One of the best zombie games ever! You are off to a good start there. One tip is to use your watchtower to scout the surrounding building and plan your resource runs accordingly. This will also spot special zombies and hordes to avoid.
    One more tip, when you have a watchtower at your base, make sure you are equipping the team members at the base with assault rifles (best) or sniper rifles. They will defend the base perimeter with no noise penalty from the gunshots.

      I already uploaded the next episode. While I used the tower to scout I didn't think about the rifles, nice. Thank you.
      I will check that out next session.

    You don't have to transfer to the car trunk and then to base, you can use the T on on your inventory as well.

      @BrianGivensYtube yeah, trailer hinted at some features, unless it was just a trailer.
      Like smacking the zeds face into the side of the car, that would be an awesome insta-kill move.

    Providence Ridge is the worst lol...but that is just my opinion. Way too much drive is needed.

    • @Games4Kickz
      @Games4Kickz  2 месяца назад +1

      Its the map we have to play with the tutorial sadly :(
      I don't remember the maps that well, though if I remember right, Meagher Valley is flatter where you drive directly from a to b.

    • @Lynn0329
      @Lynn0329 2 месяца назад +2

      @@Games4Kickz LOL I play Providence Ridge ONLY if I have to. Cascade Hills and Meagher Valley are my 2 favorite maps. Trumball Valley has too many death traps lol. Pterodactyl Park being the main one, sieges every 5 minutes it seems, screamers walking in your base like they pay rent, bloaters laying around and Ferals everywhere lol. I'm good but that place is not for the faint of heart especially in the lethal zone lol. I lost 6 of my forever community and had to use a mod to get them back lol.
