FILM DESCRIPTION:
After his son is set upon by a scarecrow that seems to have come alive, farmer Jack Taggart Sr. (Ray Wise) and his son, Jack Taggart Jr. (Luke Edwards), go looking for an explanation. Meanwhile, a bus carrying high-school students breaks down nearby, and a creature known as the Creeper (Jonathan Breck) starts a killing spree. The elder Taggart soon realizes that the killings and the attack on his son are connected, and, after alerting the community to be on guard, he aims to pummel the Creeper.

Some people say that the greatest evidence of this father's anger towards the creeper is when he stabs him multiple times. I disagree, the greatest evidence is that he patiently waited 23 years to kill that monster again.

I love how the Creeper & Taggart stared each other down for 10 seconds after it got harpooned through the head. The Creeper knew what it did to him, knew what Taggart was about to do it, and was uterlly powerless to stop him from enacting his revenge
A part of the creepy knew exactly who he was and was probably surprised he had the balls and hate to come after him, that's why he hesitated a bit before getting what he deserved

This scene was actually one of the more dramatic scenes, because the Creeper stole and killed his son back in the day. So he was getting his revenge by repeatedly stabbing the beast. One of my favorite horror movies.

according to some people, the reason why the black kid didnt immediately die like the others is that the Creeper is more efficient when you are afraid of it. In this, his will to survive overshadowed his thoughts of fearing the Creeper (unlike the others).

The amount of adrenaline that goes through your body when your fighting for your life basically turns you into a super soldier. I knew someone who got pinned between his car and a tree during a terrible car crash and managed to push the 2,000 pound thing off him and walked to the nearest hospital for treatment.

Possibly one of the best scenes in horror movie history. Deandre was such a good character throughout this entire movie. After how Scotty treated him he still tried his best to save him. Ray Wise was unreal in this movie. Jeepers Creepers 1 and 2 will go down in history as some of the best horror movies ever made.

I think I just realized something. At 2:10, look at the creepers eyes. For the first time in probably ever, the creeper is scared.
This is the weakest the creeper has ever been, it has no way of fighting back, and it found the first person who was ever not only not afraid of him, but out for a vengeance and could back it up.
This was the most hurt the creeper has ever been, and it doesn't even come close to how much pain the father was in. For that brief moment on the ground, the creeper understood what it meant to taste its own fear

You are making a huge mistake. You are attributing human thoughts & emotions to something that is nothing like a human, other than its crude anthropomorphic resemblance. NObody can know what it was thinking or what it ''understood''

Yes, if it was a one off incident, it can be assumed that it is something entirely separate from us (such as how Monkeys have been known to "smile" in times of stress). But the Creeper is very clearly intelligent and understands humans and their reactions, as well as culture and things that require a higher level of brain function. It understands that the farmer made its dagger into a spear (which it looked, rightfully, pissed at). It understands how to drive cars. It understands how to make a license plate and to disguise itself depending on its environment. But, beyond that, we see many times it react in ways we attribute as "human".
In part 3, for example, it wiggles his finger "no" when a cop points a gun at it. And when it found the boy had tried to escape his truck, he gave the exact same reaction a human would, a look of confusion and shock.
Even in part 2, when selecting who it wanted, it smiled at a victim to indicate it saw something in them. And in part 1, when Trish offers herself, you can see the clear debate in his eyes as it deliberates and weighs the situation.
But my most compelling evidence is in part 1, where Trish hits it with it's car. For a moment before the car makes impact, we see its face. It has the same expression it does here, both in times of impending damage.
With the evidence provided, I feel confident in assuming that it feels emotions in - at least- a similar enough way to humans that the reaction of fear is likely the same , or similar enough, to be attributed as "humanistic" in nature.

You missed the best part. With how much anger the father has while stabbing it, the pure rage the creature shows when it's times up and has to hibernate trumps it. It definitely marked his card

It’s crazy how adrenaline makes us extra strong like Double D in this situation or super fast while being chased by a dog or some shit. If it had not been for him being scared out of his goddamn mind, he probably wouldn’t have survived (well if Jack Taggart arrived a little later than he did)

You can feel the emotion from Taggart as he constantly kept stabbing the creeper. He was angry and hurt about the loss of his son.
Ray Wise's character is one of the best characters in the franchise along with Trish and Darry and I love how those tentacle things on the creeper's head cover his face as he goes into hibernation so cool and unique to other monsters!

Fun fact: Johnathan Breck (the Creeper) during the choking part, it was actually him going back up since the actor couldn't push back up like he was supposed to. Also during the creeper jumping scene, the stuntman was a stuntman for the Leader Agent in the Matrix movies.

I love the creeper because of its mythology. It’s a completely different creature from warewolfs, Frankenstein’s monster, zombies, aliens, etc. Although it reminds me a little bit of a vampire it’s still it’s own thing.

Taggart senior is the real badass of this series. When it took his son he had a look of complete hopelessness that there was nothing he could do to save his son dragged off by a flying demon. Until he saved these kids and turned the tables on the creeper.

As odd and creepy as it sounds, this was my comfort movie when I was a kid. I don't know why, I don't even want to know why, but it just was 'cause I kept rewatching it over and over again and fell asleep everytime right after. Still my favorite movie ever. Never watched Jeepers Creepers 3 because my child-self refuses to accept that this isn't the last movie of this franchise.

This scene actually shows how vulnerable the creeper is. He can bus through buses and survive a lot of gunshots but can't even kill a teenager by hand. His arm and leg were cut off and the teenager leg was hurt and he couldn't kill him. I think in jeepers creepers 4 the black guy should make a return and have a fight like this with the creeper trying to help trish

You can tell the creeper used to be human because he has human features, he has eyes, a nose, and a mouth, and he can talk, he just doesn't want to. He's not a demon or an alien, Victor salva said he started off as a man and became cursed with this hunger being its the only way he can survive, the reason why crows and ravens always follow him everywhere he goes is unknown.
KHAREE THEBEAST He only eats from fear which is tasty to him. According to the last movie he can regenerate lost body parts by devouring them as his own. He is cursed with eternal hunger which makes him immortal but by the time of the 23rd spring within 23 days, he gets to eat relentlessly. The Creeper is in fact centuries old. You can tell by the inside of his truck in the 3rd movie he has an arsenal of booby traps, cages and hunting gear which means he is very skilled as a huntsman explains why he has dead eyed accuracy.
Ravens and crows eat dead decaying things. They probably get his leftovers.

Ya know what I would have done? Got a hack saw and cut it up into a dozen pieces. Then I would have bought bags and bags of cement putting each piece into its own 2 by 2 foot square of cement. Then I'd go around the countryside at night burying those blocks in various locations. Or, just around his farm. Boom, no more creeper. It can be as immortal as it wants to be in a dozens pieces locked away for centuries under ground in cement.

Yes but the creeper can be decapitated and survive. He can be dismembered and be alive. The colt doesn't kill everything. Plus it's broken now. The creeper can take a lot of damage and seem to walk most of it off. I don't know if the colt could drop him since he's so resistant to damage and can easily swap body parts
Right but the things it cannot kill are Archangel tier and God Tier I doubt the creeper is either and your talking physical damage basically yes he has shown to be resilient but again that's physical damage The Colt does more than pierce the body it electrifies and fry's a creatures essence and spiritual nature destroying it from the inside out not with raw power or damage but with its own supernatural ability no ones ever done that to the creeper so essentially the Colt could kill whatever powers the creeper and end its reign of terror plus were talking when Sam and Dean had the Colt not the actual canon storyline its in now also demons in SPN are also resilent to physical damge and can take a beating and the Colt takes them down no problem
