FILM DESCRIPTION:
After his son is set upon by a scarecrow that seems to have come alive, farmer Jack Taggart Sr. (Ray Wise) and his son, Jack Taggart Jr. (Luke Edwards), go looking for an explanation. Meanwhile, a bus carrying high-school students breaks down nearby, and a creature known as the Creeper (Jonathan Breck) starts a killing spree. The elder Taggart soon realizes that the killings and the attack on his son are connected, and, after alerting the community to be on guard, he aims to pummel the Creeper.

I like how the female coach trusted her intuition. She felt something was not right about their situation. Made everyone get back on the bus. Always listen to your gut instincts.

Those flares are actually super important regardless of the situation. It lets people know exactly where you are, so if it’s super dark, they don’t crash into you. Those were probably the last two flares she was gonna put down, but you know the story. And besides, it’s a legal and safety requirement in case you break down without emergency lights.
I like how when she got taken away, no one asked bucky who was right in the front and saw it all happen before jake and anyone, any of you guys ever ask that

In a situation like this, even if it’s the military, it’s such a sudden shock that your brain just completely forgets about it. Selective memory that’s called, and it kicks in when logic and reason lose their entire foothold. Like when your coach suddenly jumps into the air at 100mph.
The coach calling out for his lost colleague and the bus driver yelling for the kids to get on the bus drives such an internal fear down the viewers spine. Great writing.
Hearing them scream after getting taken, just gives me chills.

Sometimes people get so scared shitless they don’t even know what happened until after the fact. If I saw my coach go down and then shoot straight up and vanish, I wouldn’t believe it. I’d chart it off as me just being tired.

Quite a few people were looking in his direction, like bucky, so he did see it in his field of vision, but didn’t register.
Because the second time it happened, everyone’s sense of reality clicked back into gear, and they realized it really did happen. Even then they were suspended in disbelief.
It's more a conflict of logic. Logic denotes that, if the flare fell from the sky, it had been dropped from a significant height. At the same time, logic dictates that the coach couldn't possibly have gone straight up into the air. The idea that something grabbed him and flew STRAIGHT UP is simply impossible to comprehend.

0:11 that shot was done so well, out of focus, music creepy. Also how terrifying would that be to be Charlie? No idea what's happening, just suddenly grabbed and lifted so quickly into the sky? Imagine seeing your feet leave the ground that quick? Not the mention when he clicks and sees the creature that's taken him.
That's when the flare gets thrust into whats holding him.

I really liked this one, maybe bc of the larger diverse cast trying to deal with this.
I loved the first one because of how scary it was with just the two of them. No strengrh in numbers or anything like that. But I this was a great way to open it up more.

I always wondered with this scene on how the creeper killed the coaches. Maybe he dropped them to their deaths in a different location and quickly returned to get the teens?

The creeper definitely took a quick bite to the neck, got some fresh meat for some energy, and went back to the bus for some more buffet.
He could have easily flown back to his hideout and caged them and flown back. You see from the opening scene at the farm that when he flies, he can cover so much air space so quickly. Within a mater of seconds in that scene hes disappeared into the clouds far away. That establishes that given the 30 seconds or so of time between kills, he could easily fly a few miles back and forth effortlessly.

This horror film is amazing. It's the first of its kind to show the monster blatantly picking them off right in front of the protagonists. It's not simply lurking; it's right before them the entire film. The feeling of utter helplessness has not been redone since.
This one scene of the movie always puzzles me every time I watch it you've got a crowd of 20 people standing outside the broken down school bus then from out of nowhere a large bat winged creature abducts the coach in the background and not a single person standing in plain view witnesses the abduction I find that really hard to believe.

Probably a way to look at it would be that
A) It's really dark, only light source is from either the flares or from the bus' headlights, if the headlights are on and if they are standing near it so that would make it very hard to see or notice the Coach being picked up and flying away.
B) They were probably not expecting their Coach to disappear like that. During the scene we see everyone looking the other way around talking or something, the coach is a bit far down the road, the creeper snatches him too quick for anyone to catch a glimpse.
Thing is, everyone at this point was thinking the bus breaking down was an inconvenience, noone imagined they were being hunted down.

On top of that, if you get scared enough or experience a sudden shock you might blank it from your mind. So if someone did see it, they would automatically conclude that they were seeing things.
For a sequel, this was done really well and did not suck, bravo 👏 👍

This IMO, is how you do a sequel, it takes everything the original did well and improves upon it, the actors did great and the story and setup are really interesting and well thought up, one of the best horror movie sequels ever!!!!!...

I just rewatched Jeepers Creepers 2. Stranded on a country highway, a school-bus full of high school basketball players, their coaches, and cheerleaders, try to survive the night while the Creepers hunts them relentlessly. The Creeper is flesh-eating monster that resurfaces every 23 years for 23 days to feed. This is the 23rd day and he's out for blood before his next slumber. Yet again the Creeper is absolutely terrifying.
He's a monster with style and a dramatic flair that sets him apart from other monsters in horror. The movie overall is relentlessly suspenseful and scary. A classic horror movie that I love and have rewatched countless times. This was one of the first movies to give me nightmares as a kid. For a long time this was my favorite horror movie of all time. I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it.

I love the extremely subtle detail that all the students were looking around the bus because they only caught a glimpse of what happened, while Jake was the only student looking up and scanning the sky because he was the only one watching the Driver

This Demonic Creature creeped me out. The ease with which he flies away and hunts like a predator because he’s hungry. The director really knew what would scare a person the most and how helpless it would make someone feel.
I agree with the kid who said I’d rather have a Stick in my hand than nothing when facing this Creature.
At least you could try to stab him or poke his damn eye out. But then of course, he’d turn around and come hunting you for a pair of eyes! You just can’t win against this damned thing and that’s what makes him scary.
A well made creature and horror show. And in the first film, he left that poor kid in the basement to die after he ate his internal organs. And he couldn’t even talk to warn Daryl. That was horrifying. Then he dies. Yet another victim of the Creeper.

I went to see this movie with a friend and as soon as the "Creeper" came down for the head coach I was laughing and then the bus driver and finally he got the assistant coach, by that time my sides hurt from all the laughing.. then I notice the assistant coach was in the first Jeepers Creepers in the police station jail..

You know the point I don't get from this scene
1. They stopped after a human shuriken popped the tire because that was their second one and Charlie started to put flares and he went so far away from them and he swooped down and grab him and glued away but how the hell did not hear the swoop except the scream just after no one notice it
2. Driver did the same thing got far way after about to light it and the coach notice and saw her with him flying and scream also the kids notice too
3. You go back to the bus and asked them and said " What did you see?" And then he grabbed the coach too as the kids were frightened by the claws on the bat and took him too.
And my question is what happened to the bodies of them? We're they eaten first or throw them far as they flew?
