Yuqi is my favorite kpop girl idol of all. She has a low voice but doesn't have that much problem in belting, she has amazing dancing skills and also can rap. She is my role model. I also have a low voice but not good at belting, knows how to dance pretty good, and knows how to rap but not good at it lol

She's got better opportunities in China too cause their ad/stage revenue is crazy + she's well loved for her appearances on game shows and stuff. Ngl, the boundary between Cpop, Jpop and Kpop are really blurring together these days - as an avid fan of all three, apart from differences in language, there honestly is not much you can pick apart. Personally, Kpop ballads have always sounded like C-ballads lol. Moreover, C, J and K indie are literally the same. .. I think trying to differentiate between C,J and K idols is gonna be rendered pointless and too political in the future. Why can't they just be celebrities, the way famous ppl are in the west -_ -
It's definitely good that she acknowledges that she can improve because everyone can do such, that's so admirable of her! I just hope that she knows as well that she did amazing and great. Don't take me wrong, but if I am 100% honest, I expected a little bit better from her version of Lion. Yuqi's deep voice is so beautiful and strong, which she showed in her solos, that I think it just gave me really high expectations for this performance. @@2ixu4nana Of course I watched it; in fact many times. The performance did not leave the same profound effect as it did with the 6 members singing and that's just my preference. I prefer Minnie's vocals singing the high notes and Soojin's vocals when singing the lower notes. Soyeon did well singing solo, but my preference is still with the 6 members.

Yuqi is quite a good vocalist we been knew since predebut but damn something about her deep voice singing Lion in Chinese hits different it felt more regal and demanding and powerful especially with the “wo” at the end of the lyrics I don’t know man I’ve always loved her vocals but seeing Yuqi performing so confidently just feels so good to see She made a few mistakes and tho her nervousness did dampen her stage presence/aura a bit, honestly by the end of the video all I could remember was how great she did with the dancing and singing segment at the end and ugh goodness her short hair and bangs suit her so well
