My interpretation of this lyric and the imagery in this MV relates to the path that G Idle wants to create for themselves in Kpop.
Both queens and lions are symbolic of power and dominance - but in almost opposite ways. Queens are elegant and regal, whereas lions are aggressive and animalistic.
I think this is trying to say that G Idle has a clear goal set in mind, but the way they get there is not one dimensional. They are not going to be confined to traditional descriptions of "cute, sexy, girl crush" etc. as they do not want to be perceived just as idols, but also as actual artists.
Both raw and also pristine - they are queens and lions.
Yessss, that's what Soyeon wanted all us to know. She wrote about this becuause of their apperance in queendom, while other groups sang in the final about love, guys, and other stuff, Soyeon stick with the idea of the program "Queendom" and she wrote and compose this magnificent song.

-Yuqi's deep and strong voice, which is always one of the highlights of every song from (G)I-dle…
-And Shuhua also got really good lines, she absolutely slayed.
I love how the song never stops growing, and it doesn't stagnate but builds even more. It doesn't have a bridge like the others with gentle vocals, but rather a perfect buildup for the song. This is my top favourite from them, a hard song to top for sure

Yuqi was also criticized for only doing cute concepts (we all know she’s a powerful baby that clearly can kill us all with her gaze)
And lastly when Shuhua was criticized for her pronunciation and was labeled as “untalented” throughout the years (we all know neverland that our maknae really is talented winning gymnastics in ISAC, having the damn vocals in light my body up. It’s just that at the time she’s showing her talent but wasn’t notice by anybody except for neverlands, but now look at her grow! She became a headline of few articles “turning haters into fans”)

love & pain is the most powerful emotions a being could possess. so them saying that it can't confine & tame them means that nothing in this world could stop them. there's a saying "love conquers all", but here they wan't to portray that they can conquer love instead. also there's this "turn pain into power", they are not letting pain consume them so they turn it into power. that's where queen and lion come in. queen, meaning a female, showing female dominance, as a book once said "a beauty that can make any hero fall is greater than any legends existed.". lion, being the king of the jungle, shows male dominance, how they can be agressive & wild at the same time. i'm sorry if it's confusing, but i tried my best. hope this helps.

I don't see anyone commenting on all those internal rhymes within the verses and chorus. You can tell a rapper wrote these lyrics because they'd have consistent internal rhymes even when being rapped. She just set a rap to a pop melody and gave it to her girls. Like damn, Soyeon, just take it to that level.
