Soyeon eventually gives into this as seen at the end, because she keeps searching for love and such things from other people. Minnie however, also fights, but ultimately wins, as she finds it from within herself but it was a long battle. Shuhua is the purest form, an angel who can not be corrupted and who creates the positive things and love. 2:20 Soojin, the devil, the form of evil, whispers to her 2:35. We see Soyeon then reach for the sky towards a figure, (maybe Miyeon) possibly showing her seeking love from others. And we then see 2:40 that Shuhua (who was being whispered to by Soojin) has turned into Soyeon. We then see Soyeon trapped and defeated. We see Minnie tired and worn but she's no longer fighting, she has succeeded. *to be edited as I think of more ideas and explanations [such as for the soojin shuhua soyeon part i need to think about it]

has anyone pointed out how miyeon, shuhua and yuqi dont sing the chorus bcs they are the "lesser evils" of the girls? did you notice how soojin (the devil) and soyeon & minnie (in the purgatory, for being tainted by soojin) are the only ones who sing "oh my god, she took me to the sky, oh my god, she showed me all the stars"? i was still hoping for all of them to be able to sing the chorus but maybe they had to stick with the concept.
Yeah, Miyeon, Shuhua and Yuqi are the Lie or white version and Minnie, Soojin and Soyeon are the Truth or black version. They probably sing the chorus because they were already "enlightened" unlike the Lie members.

Amina A hello! i'm sorry but i have to disagree.. in some of their title tracks, all of them (except for poor shuhua who really deserves more lines) either get to sing part of the chorus (latata and lion) or they will all sing it together (hann). for señorita and uh-oh, however, they gave the choruses to only two/three members just like in oh my god, however i cant really connect the line distribution to any theory whatsoever, it's just like that for some reason. the best line distribution is think is for lion, as all of them got to sing the chorus. i know it may be a reach to connect the line distribution with the concept, and yeah maybe its just a coincidence but i really do think part of it plays along with the theories. and by all means i am not okay with the line distribution here as well, especially the side tracks. shuhua and miyeon deserve more lines!! i hope soyeon and her team realize this.

1) Minnie and Yuqi are releasing a digital single on July 5th, during the I-LAND online concert! It will most likely be on music platforms after the concert :) We do not know if there will be a music video.
2) (G)I-DLE are releasing JAPAN 2nd Mini Album『Oh my god』on August 26th (which is Soyeon's birthday!). Based on their mini-album last year, it may have Japanese versions of some songs as well as a few new songs! There are no pre-order links YET, so stay tuned.
3) (G)I-DLE have been releasing teaser images captioned "Coming soon-!". The images look like a suitcase with travel stickers! The travel stickers have the names of (G)I-DLE's songs. We don't know what it means yet, but neverlands have suggested it could be: a reality show, an album repackage, the I-LAND concert tracklist, OR a summer package. BUT WE DON'T KNOW YET! Here's an alternate story to feed your imagination.
Miyeon the main angel is actually the bad guy.
She was seen holding a cup of wine. The wine plays an integral part of the story because that's what actually causes the corruption of the other angels.
She let her cup fall and the wine spilled to those angels below her, corrupting them into demons.
Only she was safe from the curse of the red wine because she was on top of a high pedestal, basically untouchable.
The red wine theory would explain why Soyeon has a drop of red wine on her lip and Minnie's face was covered with it while in the "purgatory". In their state of mind, that's where they start transforming.
Also in the chorus, when Miyeon's cup fell, it unleashed the demons.
Yuqi wasn't there directly but she saw what Miyeon did and she knew what would happen if the wine is spilt, that's why she looked so shocked when she saw Miyeon letting the cup fall to the other angels.
*[By @Soranryu Shun]* As Yuqi saw what Miyeon did to the angels, Miyeon personally corrupted her for being a witness. That's why in the 2nd pre-chorus, as Miyeon cuts her verse to Yuqi, She "pushes" Yuqi and there's fire and darkness and it's there we first see Yuqi corrupted and falling.
Shuhua's an angel who was allegedly saved from corruption because AGAIN they were on top a pedestal but not as high as Miyeon's, she was considered a "hero" because she didn't know what was happening and that she only led the small remaining angels against the dark side. Soojin, one of the first corrupted had a plan of revenge against Miyeon that's why she attacked Shuhua in the "whispering scene" to let Shuhua know the truth, since her pedestal isn't as high as Miyeon's, she was easily accessible and that what caused her downfall.
