  • Meguiar's wheel cleaner ate the finish off the center caps of my Konig Ampliforms for our 2004 Acura RSX Type-S. Fitment Industries and Konig replaced the damage caps for us free of charge! In this video, we briefly walk through the story of what happened, then unbox and install the new caps, then finish off with a little edit of our '04 RSX Type-S.

    Did you have to use hub-centric rings to fill the gaps between the wheel and hub? Or do the wheels fit the hubs perfectly?

      Hi, thanks for the comment! Yes, I did have to use hub-centric rings in order to center and mount the wheels properly. I can't remember the exact product I bought, but I believe they were some cheap polymer rings made by Enkei. Hope this helps, let me know if you have further questions and I can try to help!

    What wheel cleaner would you recommend for these wheels?

      I've been using a wheel cleaner from "Griot's Garage" that works very well! I've used the clear bottle labeled "heavy duty wheel cleaner" but I see online that they have a standard wheel cleaner as well. I've heard good things about "Chemical Guys" wheel cleaner as well, though I've never tested it on my Ampliforms or the Center Caps. Hope that helps.

    I’m putting same rims on black Rsx

      Hell yeah that's dope! Did you get the bronze finish or the gray? Love the wheels so far; can't wait until Spring to throw them back on again!

      I got the bronze because I thought grey on black might be a little boring

      Good call! The bronze will definitely look super good with the black.

    Are these rims considered feminine? Just bought a car with them. Rims are nice but not sure about the Crown

      @3PedalDevils  4 года назад +1

      Hi! We wouldn't consider them to be feminine and actually think that they look pretty aggressive on certain builds. Is it the crown icon inside the "o" in "Konig" that you're not sure about? Maybe you could paint over the "Konig" logo and you wouldn't notice the crown as much!

      @@3PedalDevilsit's the actual crown with two dots on the top that stands out. Princess crown in my opinion- Awful appearance. What options do have hide it, that would be a permanent fix.

      @@allikhaur Hmm I don't see that crown on my wheels, mine only have the tiny one inside the "o" in the center cap logo. Where is the crown you're talking about located?

    • @allikhaur
      @allikhaur 4 года назад

      @@3PedalDevils no, I'm sorry- Let me clarify.My statement and questions are about my car, that I just bought. The previous owner had rims with the crown symbol. Not yours, they look great.

      @@allikhaur Oh I see! I thought you meant that you had the same wheels/rims as me! Not entirely sure about how to cover the crowns up in your situation. I'd say that if they're on the center caps, see if you can hide them with paint, or get custom center caps made. If you're in the U.S. we could probably make some for you. Otherwise I'm not exactly sure the best options without taking a look at them!
