Hello beauties and Happy Monday! :) I hope you are all enjoying a beautiful summer :) Let me know what is your favorite or even better top 3 PML makeup product. Sending much love to all of you! xoxo
This is really inspiring. I love playing with my PM palettes but I do struggle to get a look that works for me with older eyes and a more classic style. These are really wearable and pretty.
Divine Rose I is my favorite. I have everything she’s released. I used Pat’s palettes as both eye and cheeks. Her skinshow shadows are the perfect face highlight. Generally I use one shimmer with a matte in the crease. For everyday use in the office, I generally use the shimmer just in the middle of the eyelid, not on the entire lid, to reduce the effect a little.
Hello Lisa :) Thank you so much for the amazing tips! That's really helpful to me. I adore this palette. Have a wonderful day and thank you so much for watching! xoxo
I have been so busy with work, the kids and my dad that is sick that I feel I haven’t watched one of your videos for ever ! I’m so happy to finally have the time to watch a video from you ! Can’t wait to hear your opinion on this palette since I truly trust it for my purchases xoxox
This Pat McGrath palette 🎨 is another gorgeous palette for sure! Thank you, thank you for sharing, Angela! I guess the beauty of her palettes is that you have a good range of looks to create, from daytime to a night out. As always, I hope Angela and all of you have a great day! 👍🏻🍀❤️🥰💝
Thank you for reviewing the new PM moonlit palette. I love the eye look you created Angela! 🥰 The color story looks beautiful especially the special astral shades. I’m so glad you’re showing how you can use this color story for every day wear and in a more subtle way. I feel like so many other reviews show such dramatic intense rosy looks which isn’t for me. I love midnight sun & the original divine rose and I can’t wait to add the new moonlit palette to my collection. Susan 😘
Angela, I ❤️ that you create simpler, more wearable looks from palettes that might otherwise scare some of us away. Both of these looks are stunning and I’ll be trying each of them. I want to be able to enjoy Pat McGraths unique and beautiful products and you help me do that. 🙏
Hi Angela ! Such a beautiful palette . Your eye looks are stunning but I agree with you , the Blitz Venus color is unbelievable, so pretty !!! My favorite Pat McGrath eyeshadow palette is the Divine Rose 1. Love the formula of Pat McGrath eyeshadows. Thank you so much for this review! Have a wonderful day! 🌷
Thanks for sharing and showing that you do not need to use all the colours or be over dramatic. Pat McGrath can be daily friendly and simplistic. Besides the motherships I love the foundation. I’m in my forties and just want to look refreshed and this doesn’t sit in fine lines or wrinkles. The pressed power is also very good for under the eyes and blurs.😍
Loved the look. Just like you I like a more simple, ethereal almost undetectable shadows in the eyes, ones that you find hard to define the exact color. These are typically the multidimensional colors which are translucent almost velvety colors. I shy away from super glitters as I feel they are not easily wearable in daily basis despite their beauty. My favorite from Pat are Mothership I & II. Both contain some light translucent, moonlight and light bronze colors which are very beautiful. Pat's Devine rose palettes are very beautiful. I personally like her lilac shades, they are so intriguing. I feel there are less options in mat colors but to intensify your look you may easily use your bronzer as a crease color. I like to use primer with her eyeshadows and typically use my fingers to make the color pop. I find it difficult to use brushes with Pat's motherships. Last tip, I find less is more when it comes to Pat mcgrath, as her eyeshadows are super pigmented and you achieve best results with first stroke of barely there color with a light handed brush. Blending with a clean brush after depositing the color is key for her mat shades. I learned a lot of makeup techniques from Tania B Wells here in youtube, especially in how to use Pat Mcgrath palettes and colors. Check her out, I think she demonstrates this palette too in one of her videos. Thank you so much for this video and take care.
Beautiful looks Angela! I had taken a break from buying the motherships since I have several but I think I need to get this one - perfect shades. I only do everyday looks but find PML shades perfect when used with a light hand as one and done … I also love the Desert Orchid blush and have used a ton of her Nude Lip Fetish Astral Balms. I used to watch some of her live streams when she would launch a new product and they are a blast - Pat and her team play with makeup, very relaxed videos with laughter and surprising tips since they are not afraid to try things. If you see one announced, you might enjoy it.
Hello Christina :) Thank you so much! I want to watch such live video. It sounds like so much fun. Nude Lip Fetish Astral Balms sounds like something that I would love. I will check them out as well as the desert orchid blush. Have a wonderful day! xoxo
@@christinaoconnell8288 It was so enjoyable... I hope I will be able to watch the moon again this summer. It was truly divine experience. I hope you will love the palette, Christina. It's really beautiful. Have a wonderful day! xoxo
Hi dear Angela, you look absolutely stunning!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩Loved the way how you used this palette, and showed us how beautiful it works with lighter skin and lighter eyes!!!! For me, a no for now. Because, more sensitive eyes more often (not always), and still have so much shades to choose from Pat McGrath, but also Natasha Denona and Sydney Grace. Being 52 now with my khaki green eyes, this is not my dream colour story, putting 2 pinks in 1 expensive Mothership palette. But i have all Pat's work, well i gave away palette nr. 5 as i found it to difficult, i got crazy of the red shade in it also. The rest of the colours are so beautiful!!! My fav colour would be the one you choose for that, or the last shade in the palette, that you compared with the moon so beautiful!!! If you own Mothership nr. 1 yet, with your beautiful cool toned appearance, i think of that one first, it has also such a cute lilac shade and it's so neutral!!! Well, the bright blue i don't use a lot, but the rest, i love!!! Most loved from Pat: palette nr. 7. Most easy palette: palette nr. 4, very bright, but choosing 1 shade as one and done, brilliant!!! The shade sinful of palette nr. 4 is very nice on my eyes. Almost as nice as the shade Flutterby from dear Mel's palette that she created for Sydney Grace 2 years ago. Mel Thompson'sTiny Marvels is the most special palette in this category, and that was already when just launched, i was so happy that i could tell that to her, i said, this is the first palette in my entire life of which i love all colours! And she was really happy about that in the comment section. In this more bold eyeshadow category, my forever top 3 (no particular order): Natasha Denona 28 green/brown palette, Natasha's first and best work, PMG Mothership 7 Divine Rose, and my most favorite, the Tiny Marvels (SG) by dear Mel! Tips? Follow Alicia, she IS our Pat here, she also has Pat's very first work, and knows everything, everything, really!!! Tips from me? I'll try, not a professional here. But for the special shades, the last 4 in the palette, as you know, doing eyes first, than face (i believe you did) as you can get tons of fall out. Further, a glitter glue comes in handy, just apply it on the center of your mobile lid and than place the special shade carefully with your finger, i prefer using my fingers most, or a good Sonia G. brush. Or a Smith Arrow Head brush, learned that from Jackeline! Further, with sensitive eyes, i never apply these shadows under my eyes, i find to risky. What i do a lot, is looking for a soft Chantecaille shade, or another much softer-on-eyes brand and put that under the eyes in a communicating shade, of course it's impossible to find the same colours, but it can get close!!! Remember the gorgeous Chantecaille single Tiger shadow in the gorgeous emerald colour with shift? That is not, but almost the green colour in Pat's palette nr. 2. So, this is the first PMG palette i did not buy right away, the price went up to 155 euro's plus shipping and i have so much of her work, including the quads!!! From her quads, my forever most loved is Ritualistic Rose, not easy, glitter glue is nice, but soooo beautiful, this quad!!! Sensitive eyes or not, this quad will not leave my house!!! Further i love her big red Christmas palette from last year, most loved, the very last shade under in the very big palette, the light green, but lots of them are so cute and so easy, and when i'm lazy i love her easy formula much more!!! The most stupid eyelook i made, during the lockdown, was using Pat's entire Nocturnal Nirvana quad, hubby said, he most beautiful fish of the sea!!!🤣🤣I said, well i take this of before we take a walk....From these 3 brands, i think, Sydney Grace has the best formula, from the singles, i love The Greatest Gift so much, it has such an amazing shift!!! And the Enduring Love palette, and others. Almost gonna sleep, this is getting to long, sorry dear Angela, have a good sleep, and a wonderful day tomorrow!!!😘😘😘😘
Gorgeous look Angela! I find PM palettes very easy for amateurs due to the fact that they very creamy and very blendable and with beautiful colour stories and effective colour pay off. The fastest eyeshadows for a quick but really beautiful eye look . Thank you for showing it to us! ps. with your eye shape which is big amd round you should try to put your matte shades with an angle brush like this from bk beauty like the way you would do your eye liner to create a more high up and lifted and almond like look and then blend it up high in the crease and a bit higher to the outer corner. This is what I do with my round almost downturned eyes and they look lifted and more cat like.
Subtle is the key word for everyday. My last purchase was Divine Rose II, and while it was lovely, I didn’t reach for it on a day to day basis. I’m more attracted to satin or matte neutrals these days. The foil shade - Blitz Venus - does look beautiful on you!
Hi Angela: Thank you for investing in this palette and demoing it. Gorgeous! I understand why you are attracted to it - it has 6 light shades. I love both eye looks equally. I was not interested in this palette before but you are making me want this palette now. Thank you - it’s now in my cart.
Hello Jocelyne :) Thank you so much for watching! You are right. I am very attracted to the lighter shades because I find that they are easy to wear. Have a wonderful day! xoxo
Bonjour Angela, You are so spiritual when you talk about The Moon. Thanks a lot to share this magical experience. I really appreciate your vidéos. Raffinée et subtile you are French fan. Thank you Angela
Hey Angela. Thank you for the review. So nice you test everything in natural light it really help so much. This palette looks astonishing. I also saw the Chanel 4 ombres number 58 is out. Or is it older and somehow I missed it… haha and the noir allure mascara and the new waterproof eyeliner are out today
Hi Angela. Happy month of August. I love both looks. I must confess that I have three P M palettes and have never used them. Funny for some one who is so use to handle oil and especially pastels. P M palettes intimidate me. But I promise that I will give them a try just because of the easy and gorgeous looks you just did. XO🥰🥰
Just a tip...when applying eyeshadows use brushes that are made for that for example no1 rephr and then!...use a blending brush to blend. Using blending brushes to apply makes the shadows go everywhere nd make a mess...except when applying the crease colour that you can apply with a blending brush
I only have divine rose 2. But it is intimidating to me so i don’t use it that much. But i did just buy rephr brushes because i heard that the brush you use with pmg shadows does make a differents. Love your video’s 🥰
I don’t own any of her palettes yet (I’m more of a Chanel and Tom ford type of gal), but I’ve read lots of comments stating that the performance of the eyeshadows by pat mac grath is phenomenal and the best of all. Do you agree? They definitely seem spectacular
Oh, I am also tempted to get the palette just for that pink shade haha. My favorite is the Midnight Sun, love that it is easy to make every day looks and bolder looks 😊 I was waiting for a sale to get the voyeristic vixen after wanting it for soo long, but now I have to reconsider, this is a little more tempting 😅
Awwww thank you so much! :) Mindy was so nice to me and I was really lucky to have her help me. I am so happy that my palette arrived super quickly thanks to her. She is truly fantastic! Have a wonderful day and a huge thank you for watching my video! xoxo
Hi Angela. I'm enjoying your video, as always. You have a similar coloring and aesthetic to mine. She is highly intelligent, really understands makeup, does a fabulous job of application, and is charming and witty beyond belief. She's a joy to watch and I always learn a lot from her. Hope you enjoy her too. Stay safe and well. Thanks for your video!💚
