why don’t people remember when he played pittsburgh week one last year? he was terrible. 4 picks. he’ll be fine and i’m a browns fan.
Combination of short attention spans from the younger fanbase, which makes up the majority of the loudest members of social media, and the way these people were raised to think about sports, that these athletes are just caged animals, forced to dance for our entertainment (Ie, ESPN, heated debates around outrageous takes).
Part of me also wants to blame sports gambling, People mad they lost money on what was a "sure thing". but that can't be it alone.
The difference, as someone pointed out, was that Cincy was beating themselves last season opener, with penalties and fumbles and interceptions!! this season opener, Cincy just couldn't get ANYTHING going, because they were stifled and sacked and stymied at every turn. that's a distinct difference between the games, and way more troubling. It's NOT about internally fixing picks and fumbles, like last year, it's that Cincy HAS NO CONTROL over an opposing defense that imposes its will. Dangerous
@@thetruthisthelight0910 Thank you for providing an example of what I mean when I said "Heated debates around outrageous takes".
Kinda helps nail home my point...
@@ReadIcculus93 did you watch the game? This isn't a heated or outrageous take lol
@@NoahGreene-pp5wmThat wasn't the only game I've seen in my life... No... It's not my first time watching the NFL week one either.
1 game doesnt decide how how the season will go, so yes, acting like the season is over after 1 bad game is a pretty outrageous take...
Week 1 has always been super weird no one should take week 1 seriously at all.
Cope
Exactly
@@BrownsNJ24 We started out weak last season then almost went to the superbowl again, definitely not a cope.
I definitely disagree with how the division is stacked getting off to a good start is more important than ever . Let’s go DAWG POUND 🐶🐶🐶✅✅✅
Come next week i want to see Baltimore continue to destroy the offensive line with their pass rush, had 5 sacks & strip fumble
Defense feasted yesterday. Nothing like slapping around the Bengals to start the season off right
Miles Garrett has come a long way since denting Mason Rudolph’s brain 😂
Wow people are panicking lol. Im a bengals fan and I knew this would happen we start every season off bad
Exactly last time I checked ya finished in the AFC Championship game last season people need to chill smh lol
No, you didn't. There is zero chance you thought Burrow would have a 20 qbr, with less than 90 yards on 30 passes. You're a damn liar haha I suppose you knew orlando Brown would get beat at least once every drive too. Get out here with that 😂
So losing by 3 in OT is the same as losing by 21 and having under 150 yds of offense? Huffing copium
@@NardoCantCook copium to the max. Almost delusional
@@Chiefs555 burrow started last season bad with the INTs with 4 in week 1. But 338 yards on 62.8% completion compared to 82 on 45.2% completion. They are delusional acting as if those are similar
The Browns need to enjoy the win and get ready for week 2.
Lost in the lustre here is that Pat wasn't censored for saying "dicking around" Way to slip it in there😂
It’s more about Cleveland beating Suckinati. Been saying it all preseason. We will win the division
Why is Aj never in studio?
Pat these new cameras look wack af
Bengals need to move on from Zac Taylor at some point
Not to mention the refs once again miss a holding call on Myles Garrett!
Burrow played horrible Week 1 last season too. Then he ended up in the AFC Championship.
@FFBillyhow many replies are you gonna make?
Last year , lol !
Guys, is AJ okay? His camera looks... off...
Maybe if they had an indoor practice facility
The Browns will need to put on a show these first 5 weeks to start convincing anyone outside of CLE that they should be in the "force in the AFC" talks. Game 1 was pretty convincing but just 1 game. They got Steelers, Titans, Ravens, 49rs in the next 4. They'd have to go 4-1 to be considered legit. If they somehow beat Lamar and Purdy, it's on. Got to start with the Steelers at the Burgh and they haven't won a game there since 2003. This is the toughest lineup to start the season as they've had in some time. They look ready though. Go Browns.
EDIT: Browns haven't won a *regular season* game at the Burgh since 2003. They did smoke them at Pittsburgh in a playoff game there in 2020.
They just won a playoff game there 2 years ago
Like dude said...…they just embarrassed Pittsburgh in their own home a couple years ago.....
@@flyfastasduck I meant to say regular season game. Yes, they did make Big Ben cry and Ju-Ju eat his "Browns is the Browns" humble pie in the playoffs. I'll make the edit. Ty for getting me straight.
As someone who is not a fan of the bungles or the browns, the bungles not being able to beat the browns is like perfect football poetry

Browns yearly trophy of beating the bengals
So when Pat moves to ESPN. Does that mean all the spiciness i.e. bad words and such goes away? Like a censored version of the show cuz that'll suck.
Calm down everybody. Burrow is 1-4 against the Browns and went to a super-bowl two years ago and the AFC championship championship game last year. As long as he doesn’t need to play the Browns in the playoffs, the Bengals should be fine.
😢Shifty Schefter is a poor replacement for Rapsheet. Gotta mind your new handler, bow to the mouse boys you belong to Disney now😂😂😂
Adams face completely changed when you brought up Joe Burrow 🥲 the look of concern on his face was frightening if you are a bengals fan 🫣
That center forgot fundamentals that was peewee ball five man front blocking 🤦🏽♂️
Daaa Browns , PIT's next and they didnt look good at all , BAL got it done but still didnt look good doing it , gonna say it now Browns on top this year. We had 2 seasons where we won 1 game ...this is our time we been through it
Here We Go Brownies Here We Go!! Lol! Myles is Him!
Coming from a group of "men" with 39% body fat and a mullet 😂 who worship Aron diva I'm now retired due to a aqullies tendón tear Rodgers.. remember borrows went to a super bowl and almost again last year! Respect
Lol, borrows ain't it jack
That guy is NOT a Bengals fan. He, probably just joined the bandwagon over the last few years, forget him.
Yeah like i did this with the cowboys after 2016 but that was after watching the team every year since i was 6... 10 years watching this team.
Most of your fanbase is on the bandwagon. Your fans were nowhere to be found outside of Kentucky until a few years ago.
Not really, I'd argue that the Bengals have one of the most loyal fanbases in all of sports.@@TheCompanionCube1
Kentucky fans !
Is it possible he’s playing hurt.he did have that injury
Might just be the case. Been sketchy on that injury since it happened. Seemed worse then they were letting on.
Yeah, everyone was saying it was a grade 1 strain but the recovery period and way it looked when he got injured makes me think it is a grade 2 or even 3. He looked very hesitant to take hits and scramble, and he just looked like he was scared in the pocket. Throwing the ball away too quickly, not making the adjustments, etc.
How many pass rushers are now going to be doing the "Myles Dribble" and become elite? And how long before the NFL changes rules to ban that move or penalize it for taunting? They already penalize defensive players for everything else.
What happens when dont play any preseason
If your good, you win !
