The last 2 years have been rough as my son had an emergency liver transplant and 9 months later I lost my daughter to a Brain aneurysm. So I had a child Recive a organ and also had a child give her organs to others. She saved 5 people and she is my Hero. I found you today since it has been a year since I lost her and you have encouraged me to try and put on makeup and eyelashes. I love eyelashes and really want to try to do them after watching your videos. I have been told that women over 50 should not wear lashes but I love them and just have not perfected them yet. I am 67 years old and trying with all I have got to deal with the death of my daughter and be grateful for the life of my son. Thank for the encouragement as I want to feel pretty again which I have not felt for almost 3 years now but I am going to do my best to try.
I appreciate you and your mom being willing to do this. It was great to see the real struggle like I have had and how to take a breath and regroup and continue on and succeed! Thank you!!

You obviously have such a great relationship with your mom. I have a daughter about your age and we are truly best friends now. I won’t be trying the lashes though. I have used an eyelash serum for several years so thankfully I don’t need them. Tell your mom careprost and in a couple of months her own lashes will be long and full. Lol

I have been wearing false (Adell) eyelashes on and off since 1967! I never would have guessed that I'd still be doing this at 70 years old! 🙃 One tip I would add is, once you apply the glue, bend the lashes in a "U" shape for 10 seconds, ( I usually blow on the glue because I'm inpatient) ;) This puts them in the right shape and they are easier to apply. I love your channel, it brings back great memories of my Mother and I. I would "help" her with her make-up for occasions and special nights out with Dad! 💖

Can you sleep in them? Do you need to take them off and clean the glue off the eyelash right away? What kind of glue was that you used That came in a wand? I have been contemplating trying this for a few weeks and have not mastered the courage yet.

I’m 65 and I’ve worn makeup since I was 13 and I’ve always loved putting it on, however i now have a lot of health problems and I have very little energy and I don’t go anywhere without makeup but since I don’t have energy I don’t go out much because I don’t feel like the makeup routine. I suffer from depression and this makes it worse and I can’t take med for it, makes it worse and so I’m a lost cause. I love watching your videos, just don’t feel like doing it. It takes much practice to get eyelashes on! I have a hard time being patient until the eyelash glue is tacky! Your mom is beautiful and the lashes really help enhance her eyes.
I’m 72 and just lost all my lashes due to Chemo therapy for breast cancer. This is a very helpful video, thank you. I find it really hard to apply my own lashes, but I’m getting better. I hope to regrow my lashes eventually so I can go back to Flutterhabits which are the best ‘eye lash extensions’ ever so easy to apply and go right under your own lashes, they’re beautiful and last up to 10 days. but one needs their own lashes to have them stick to. I find my eyes are quite watery so the Ardel glue doesn’t work that great for the strip lashes by dinner time they’re already coming off Any suggestions?
love watching this and I wish I could apply(I'm 71 yrs) but I use glasses and can't see much without them. I do use a 10x magnifying mirror for makeup but eye makeup is still a challenge. Love the look . When my son got married I bought some natural looking lashes and they are still in their package...what was I thinking? lol

What kind of glue is best to do this.?I heard something called black glue . Is that true?how much does a good glue cost. how do u know how long to make the lashes/ Don't U have to shorten them so etchings for a better fit? I so afraid to cut them wrong.How will know wha tis right for my eyes. I aha kinds almond elegy & like a cat eyes ;loo. uI also don't like or want to ahve to do them every day. anyway I can wear them over night for some time or not ever??
Perhaps cutting the lash band a bit shorter so it won’t lift from nasal side end. It is very uncomfortable if they don’t fit properly. Your Mom did great!

This is such a useful video for us novices. I have dry eye syndrome and I don’t think mascara helps with this so am looking at false eyelashes.
