I've ridden Millennium Force many times. It's a great Coaster, especially when you think you're going to be tossed right into the Sandusky Bay coming off the lift hill. But what I have noticed, the cable lift doesn't seem to take the Trains to the top like in previous years. It used to be when the Trains were about 70ft from the top of the lift hill, the cable would pull the Trains faster at that point and not slow down as the Trains descend.
It’s funny you mentioned the Whole Cable thing being faster because when I went for the First and only time to Cedar Point and the Sandusky Area the cable did exactly what you said it did as it got closer to the top faster and How do you know that the Cable doesn’t do that anymore??
@@robertd9020DUDE!! I'm originally from Toledo Ohio, and been on Millennium Force since my 1st ride on media day back in May of 2000. You either wasn't born or still wearing diapers. You and me both. I get anxious and light headed just watching these sitting on the couch! Watch the "Gatekeeper" coaster he has on this channel. I would consider riding that one.(yeah, I say this now). It's not very long, smooth and not too fast. Let me know what you think.
I have been going to cedar point every summer since I was a young kid… thirty two and still riding. Won’t ever stop going to amusement parks. And now my kids are old enough it’s time to break them in lol.
hey everyone first time joining....I live in arizona and we dont have any Theme parks here....the only Rollercoaster we have is the Storm Runner at Castle n Coasters...its not very big im enjoying watching these rides
Yeah yeah, we have Fury 325 and others now...but this will ALWAYS be my favorite even though I can say others are "better". Millennium is the one for many people that got them into roller coasters and so it will always hold that pedestal in my book.
why do people raise their hands during the entire ride? feels like its a submissive kind of thing, where someone told them to do it, they don't understand why but they do it anyways...if its a free fall why do it during the entire ride? weak minded people everywhere...otherwise awesome video!
This is so boring in the back seat it really should be named Mediocre Force. Biggest mistake I made for this was sitting in the very back row for my first ever ride of it in 2001, was so incredibly underwhelmed. Front much better, and for a genre where the back is usually the best. Still, THE most overrated coaster in all of history. It's all speed and nothing else. No sensations, no tummy tickle, no fear factor, no THRILL. It's just a boredom fest. I honestly never knew a 300 foot drop could be so dull. Before the rest of the coaster was even over, my bestie and I looked at each other at bottom of first drop and did a "wtf was that" look at one another lol. By the way I am not trolling, I am being 100% sincere on my feelings regarding this coaster. It doesn't even make my top 100 out of the 628 I have now ridden.
It's a fun ride generally, but not gonna lie here -- for some reason, the first drop on Millie is just too smooth or something. I don't even understand how they managed to engineer such a huge, steep drop and not have that stomach feeling... in the BACK seat. I'm a CP addict, so I do still enjoy riding it and have many laps on it, but it always always always shocks me how that stomach feeling we want is just not there. Even after riding it all these years, it still shocks me almost every time because I can't make sense of it.
@@iamclarity Well said actually. I think that's what threw me so much, I expected the first drop to be insane. It's the same on the superman twins at Darien Lake and SFA, just on a smaller scale. I guess it has something to do with Intamin's first drop profiling that era.
@@teddym2808 It definitely could be! Because that first little drop on Maverick is absolutely bonkers, which we got in 2007. Did you get to ride Maverick? Aside from the look of the tracks, it's a shock both coasters were made by the same folks.

How many trains on track? I guessing 3. One in depot one on track and the other back of depot.
I did today

Yeasssss !!! Love this coaster so much . It’s so fun every time .
Who sometimes likes to see backseat POVs instead?
Backseat is the best. It gets the entire hill and gets pulled around and the most airtime. As you know
sunburntwaffles i prefer back seat rides and povs as i like seaing the people in frount and it gives beater air time bit for inverts the frount
I actually rode this a little over a week ago and I absolutely loved it.
Millennium force is definitely one of my fav rides
Really enjoyed your video!
Thank you
@@chombethemindisall8404 you're welcome!
93 miles per hour thats really fast
(1:44) I suggest, we all hold on….TIGHTLY!!!!!
Planning to ride this in June for the first time. A little nervous about the drop. 😬
This is the only coaster I've ridden thats actually hard to keep your hands up on the first drop, it feels like you're gonna fall out
Sounds like the worst feeling ever. I grip hard every time haha.
It's a great coaster! 👍
That guy seems so energetic lmao 🤣🤣🤣
Imagine going to a concert and the guy in front of you sticks both of his arms up in the air lol.
what music is playing at the end?

Best coaster STILL to this day
Looks fun, although I'd probably chicken out after getting to the ride vehicle 🤣
The back was cool byt the front makes you feel every g force and speed. Every bit of 93mph!
1:53 you can see top thrill dragster
Those seats look so free
