In the games Yui can resist & fight back more in certain situations where you choose what she does, but it never works out in her favour, always leads to the "bad" endings of each route lol I think for the anime they spared her from that XD I actually like her better in the games, she is more out spoken at times, and she even plays tricks on Ayato to get revenge (he is always tricking her), but again she usually pays for it after. I would have liked to have seen that more in the show!
Yeah that would have been cool. And I can see why they would need Yui to be submissive. These vampires are saditstic and often crazy *cough*Kanato*cough* and if Yui fought a bunch then nothing would get done. The whole story would either take a long ass time or not happen at all. I haven't seen much from the game so it's nice to know that she can fight back (even though it would lead to the bad endings) also thank you for commenting! It's nice to have a civilized conversation over the Internet instead of an all out verbal war. :)

I think they could have added just a little bit more of her interations with Ayato, because they can be cute/funny sometimes. e.g Ayato bugs her to go home with him instead of staying at school to study, so Yui shouts that there's a sexy girl with big boobs in the hallway to trick him (he falls for it, which makes her laugh. Yeah, he gets her back lol).

In the games you have the option to fight back, but it never ends well. Besides, do you really think Yui is gonna be able to fight off 6 vampires when she’s 5’2”, borderline anemic, and built like a twig? She couldn’t fight a pillow with those scrawny arms!
