You should be able to find an easy tutorial on beading somewhere as they're all pretty much similar it's just weaving a needle through and round, just changing the beads you want! I used to do so many of these things for bracelets (smaller beads) and can be so fiddly!!

you could cut those clear plastic mesh sheets (i think theyre for cross stitch or something similar) and sew them to the inside of the bag using that same cording to give the bag some more structure! it came out so cute 🥰

You can sew a fabric lining for it and sew it to the top rim and that might give it a little more structure. or even add a zipper to the top of the lining to make it safer from pickpockets

As person who beads I just wanted to say you can sometimes make beading stiffer or hold a shape better sometimes by going through the beads a couple of times if you don’t have the right string. I also wouldn’t start beading by learning the right angle weave stitch. which is the stitch you used when making the purse. But considering you haven’t done it before you did an awesome job and inspired me to try to making a purse in smaller beads to make a change purse and to see if you can do granny squares with those beads😊.
I 100% want a pattern for this bag. It's adorable and I need to make myself one!!!

be so careful with that bag! that string is known for snapping and completely destroying all of the hard work you put into it. it's so gorgeous and I'm absolutely going to remake it, but I've lost so many hours of work because of the string snapping. I'm honestly shocked it didn't snap when you were tightening it.

Beading is a hobby I absolutely don’t need to start, but I was thinking the whole time I was watching that I have got some elastic coated metal cordage that would be plenty stiff enough for a bag…
it’s like we go through the same crafting hyperfixations at the same time…. i’ve gotten obsessed with making woven beaded bracelets and now you post that you’re working with beads too! soul sista!
