Stretching is super addictive! I started stretching a little over a year ago and I'm already past my original goal. I have no idea where I'm going to end up lol.
Yay! New goal size. :D The half inch size looks nice but I think you'd definitely suit going bigger. I think personally you'd suit even bigger than 16mm. I'm up to an inch now and love them so much more than at half inch.

Omg! I can’t believe you’re using tapers for such a large size! 😱 be careful! This is why you had the blow out. How about wearing glass? It’s heavy & will help you stretch safely.
i used tapers all the way up to 11/16 and i have perfectly healthy lobes with no blow outs. different methods work for different people. if anything, glass stretching will screw your ears up even more than tapers will. id rather use tapers and have an even stretch than use glass and have a lopsided and uneven stretch. the weight of those glass plugs will give you the most uneven stretch.
I’ve been at 00g for awhile now. (2 years) 00 was my goal! Lately I have been thinking about going a little bigger. I’m thinking 1/2 would be perfect for me. I generally have very small ears and I think 1/2 would be a good stopping point for me. Anyway, love your video! You’re seriously gorgeous! :)
I'm surprised you didn't dead stretch. And that's a hell of a jump, from 00g to 1/2". When I went to 1/2", I dead stretched, but I also was sitting at 7/16" for a couple of months, and 1/2" is technically 12.5mm, so I sat for a minute at 12mm as well. Tapers = bad bad bad!
@@haileywagoner6399 tapers are bad bc of how easily they cause blowouts what you are supposed to use are insert single flair glass plugs it's called dead stretching which is where you just slide the next size in if you wait long enough your ears stretch on your own so you ca just slide the next size in stretching is never supposed to hurt and if it does you are going to eventually mess your ears up and another thing bad about tapers is they can possibly stretch your ears unevenly if you leave them in as jewelry never leave tapers in as jewelry

Lol, my goal size was 00. I've been at a 00 for almost 8 years now. My plugs would start falling out while I was asleep. So I figured I'd buy the next size up and stretch one more time.. lol they didnt stretch. They slipped right in. 🤷♂️ guess I'm going to half inch next. I'll probably stay there for another 10 years lol.
Lmao and when you have the 7/16 for a year or two and they fall out then you’ll stretch to half lmao and so on, never seems to stop but I’m not a huge fan of giant gages it looks dumb after a while. I’m at 00 with a captive through it as I only where hoops/rings but 00-half inch is the range that’s awesome. But if I out 7/16 in IG could get in the way if my second hole as the 00 is pretty damn close and sometimes touches so I should calk it a day lmao
Omg I’ve been stuck at 10mm and I really hate it because only one of my ears has been healing very well and I’ve got it at 12 mm while the other at 10 it really sucks
I searched this up to see if it was even possible! I had 12mm gauge and wore "ear weights" that were quite small. Couldn't get them off for almost 6 months cause they were clamp style and I swear I'm back down to 10mm now. Got a 12mm taper so I could wear my old jewelry but I felt my body saying hell no and stopped. Gonna buy 10mm jewelry tomorrow, let my ears rest and then go in with the 11mm taper. I'm glad I stopped when I did because I examined my ear and there was the beginning of a tear on the bottom. I knew from experience it should never be this hard. Oh well, I guess everyone's ears are built a little different.
I started stretching around 3 or 4 months ago and I've already hit this size I haven't had any blow outs or anything which has been surprising I just wish it wasn't so addicting
I've never had pain stretching until I tried to go right to the 12mm from 00 but it hurt so I stopped and ended up with these STUPID 11mm I keep trying the 12s with pain and I'm scared to blow out 😭 its been 6 months I guess I'll just have to muscle up 💪
12.7mm is half inch not 12 cause 1 inch is 25.4 that’s why the metric system annoys me lol. I know the metric system but sometimes it gets a tad off! Plus why did you skip 7/16?

when she started pushing i was like, damnnnn throw an O ring on to where it’s at, wait a couple hours, lube it up again and push further if no pain just to keep it seamless. rather be safe and prevent a blowout
Your ear wasn't ready, girl!! Never push it through!! I feel for you. I'm at a 00 now and I wait 3 months between stretches. I won't be using tapers or taping and will be deadstretching from now on.

People always tell me mine look bigger than theirs and I think it could be because my ears are super tiny so my ear lobes were really small when I started, they don't look so small anymore after stretching but I have really really small ears. It could also be the plugs/tunnels you wear, I've noticed there are some tunnels that make the hole look bigger than it really is and some that do the opposite.
I stretched from double 00 to 12mm and I didn’t really get a blow out but I believe I ripped the inside of my ear a bit .My ears are so swollen but I’m not gonna take them out and just keep cleaning them till they heal up.I’ll keep everyone updated
I have 10... just got 12mm tunnels in... not even stretching.. just put them in😅 having steel in your ears already stretched them.. but I won’t go bigger than this. I know what’s after that size.. and what happens to your 👂.. they’ll never return to normal size or can break even😂 And bigger means your lobes will go diagonal.. not for me
I feel you! I was like that too and I ended up giving up for like 2 years and then I decided to give it another try but this time I decided I would just shove it in or else I'll never get to my goal size haha I don't recommend that though but it's what I did.
I posted a video on my channel of my ear stretching journey. I did both stretching methods and with taping, I taped up 3wraps every 2 days and got to my final sizes SO MUCH faster
I decided to just try and see what happened. It went in smoothly though so my ears were obviously ready. If it wouldn't have wanted to go in then I would have gone to a 7/16 but it wasn't necessary.

at 00g the taper got stuck and it came out the next day and i think it tore a bit but its just fine now

I JUST did a 12mm stretch, after years of being at 10mm. It was infinitely much easier than I thought it was going to be.

16mm is also my goal size! at 00g right now and i’ve waited half a year but can’t seem to get 12mm in :( maybe i’ll do 11mm first

0 to 00 is the same size jump as 00 to 1/2(12mm) it’s a 2mm jump it seems to me after 0 everything is way easier

NEVER USE TAPERS LIKE THAT. THOSE ARE USED FOR JEWELRY NOT FOR STRETCHING. YOU NEED TO USE GLASS FOR STRETCHING. ACRYLIC AND OTHERS ARE BAD.

what can help with moving up a size. is when putting in your tapers pull your ear away from you body while sliding the taper through.

Always try to use ear butter its the natural oils like our bodies give off plus it's a good healing oil heals as you stretch 👊
