Hi all,
So this has been one of the most requested video, another speciality of this video is that it has the potential to draw in controversies especially from the side of non medicos and neet aspirants.
Any way let me tell you somethings in advance the way social media has portrayed MBBS is so aesthetic and pleasing but that’s not the reality. So this video is completely based on my personal opinion and how i felt. To avoid the bias i have also gathered opinions from few of my friends, classmates and seniors (final years, house surgeons, postgraduates) too.
What i found striking was that all if them had similar opinions none of them had a deviation from what i have discussed in this video.
Most notable opinion among all was that “no matter whether you choose the course with interest or not, at some point you will feel a mental fatigue and burnout”. The stress during the course is yet another thing especially during university exams.
Still if one ask “ithreyum bhudhimutti padikenda karyam endha” ?, then my answer would be; i would be still choosing mbbs over and over again even if i had the opportunity to time travel and change my decision; because i am passionate about this and i wanted to be a doctor ormavechakaalam muthal😂
🛑So now the question is then why this video?
This video is actually something which exposes the reality of mbbs which i only understood once i started my mbbs journey.
Just like all other neet aspirants, after clearing neet i used watch videos in youtube regarding mbbs life, all i saw was the polished, glamorous, idealised version of medico life.
Expecting the same i entered my college, i felt literally betrayed during first year😂.
I used to feel if some one had actually portrayed mbbs the way it is; giving a reality check, things would have been easier for me; such as to adapt and move on.
However, during my first year, I went through a phase where I needed time to recognize and come to terms with reality.
So this video’s targeted audience are the first year medicos and neet aspirants who had cleared neet this year.
I really hope this video will help you adapt and overcome the obstacles you face jn your college.
N.B This video won’t be relatable or fathomable for non medicos and neet aspirants.
This video would be most relatable to first year medicos.
Once again reminding every single one watching this “All these are based on my personal experience and may vary from person to person; so kindly don’t spread hatred by generalising them “ 😊
Also please note that this video only focuses on the dark unexposed part of mbbs, that shouldn’t persuade you to think that medicos don’t have a life outside mbbs and also mbbs is completely toxic; because that’s not entirely true as well.

Neet aspirant here..as u said i wont be able to relate chechi but at some point it actually helps me to pe prepared
As a medicos sister i can relate it.. Like i know how my sister was feeling throughout her journey... Back in 2k12-14 she was an integrated student and couldn't get into mbbs that year so she repeated and got her seat.. I was in 4th std that year and i know how she was studying day by day.. Due to pandemic her hs period was pospotned and she completed her mbbs journey when i was about to begin 10th so imagine how long years she was working for that degree..even during er hs tym + the pandemic the stipend she got was very much less not even worth the efforts she put.. Soon after her graduation she was married and pregnancy delivery came after.. When i was in 11th she wrote her 1st pg exam werein she couldn't perform well.. She was preparing alongside she was going to a clinic where she earned sideways..if not that earnings her long 8 years of degree she would have only earned very little... So after giving that much efforts all they give back is little penny which wasn't enough to buy her daughter a walker..but after 2k23 pg she dedicated fully for neet 2k24 pg which was announced to be on march 24 later posponed to june and later to august.. The amount of stress and strain u experience while on that journey cannot be explained.. Everyone preparibg for that exam wishes to end that loop asap.. She have a daughter and i feel so sad to that tiny girl because my sister and my broter in law both are doctors and due to pg prep and ss duty both weren't able to look after her..sometimes i think her marriage shouldn't be conducted now and all but after all she deserves a family, she wanted to be with her love.. But as doctors that's the least thing they can experience, to be with family enjoy the tiny moments.. Even during her delivery my bro in law just came for 2 days since he was still a stdents even after clearing neet ss.. It's very rare to enjoy the little moments of family..
When i was having a dream of becoming doctor she used to expose me the harsh reality of medicos... At first i thought why would she turn me against it after all she was a doctor and she was having a succesful lyf.. But later i understood it.. During her hs period she faced many bad incidents from bystanders.. Yah maybe bcauz of their frustration they r over hs i dont know.. So I'm not into medico not beacuse i hate it but beacuse I'm not worthy enough to be in that profession..It deserves a lot of courage to took it.. I'm not that courageous btw..
If u guyz are that much interested, ready to work and serve people without expecting anything back, if ur family don't wants ur income for 15 years then i think mbs is for u...

When i was in 9th, the age where everyone starts foundation course for med or eng something,i too had this feeling of becoming a doctor..so back in that lockdown period i researched more about this field, during my 10th i visited wards of aiims, i talked with few of doctors, hs, pg, ss and even those in medschool.(not those studying in aimms but in general). Opinions were diff however i got a clear idea..i was not that servoce minded person.,nor i have this strong desire to become a doctor..so i joined iit coaching..and chose eng career.
2-3 months before i got thsi acc back, and everything in my feed were relating to this med career which i used to liten 2-3 yrs before.. So when i found, i listened it and i was wondered about everyone talking about real facts rather than giving aesthetic pictures.. My family is an hub of doctors.. But believe me, thsoe who passed their mbbs before 2k15-17 have an amazing lyf though they have work life imbalance and other they have a stabke income.. But those after the covid period are struggling,even those prepfor neet pg, ss face competition just lyk they face in neet ug.. And also while in pg, ss they r limited with low income and high working hours.. This is the sad reality of indian mbbs.. Only by changing this our medicos are gonna get a good lyf..
So my aim is to make people aware.since I'm having some break during this tym, and I'm onto social media im geeting enough tym to wrote these.. Or else u guyz wont see my msgs anyware on this platform...

Iam terribly disappointed watching these kind of videos,for neet aspirants you can see videos of doctors or students who currently pursuing mbbs who speaking the harsh reality of mbbs but aren't they little happy inside for being a doctor some videos are like you better kill yourself rather than choosing mbbs😇,but these videos really demotivation for those who currently preparing for neet ug,but choosing a profession by understanding all situation they gonna face somewhat a help,but now i really want to think second time before choosing it,thank you for your honest reviews❤

Ncert is the foundation; but questions in ncert alone is not enough for practice. So after covering ncert one needs to practice more questions for which these books can be referred.
