Funny story about Hill Cumorah. I was on top as the sun was coming up, and one of the missionaries approached me and asked, "Have you seen Moroni?" I was trying not to react by giving him a look as if he was crazy. He went on to say, "I can't find him." I pointed to the statue, and said, "He's up there." He laughed and said, "I'm sorry. I've seen you here before and thought you knew that we had a cat named Moroni, and he hasn't eaten any of his food this morning." We both had a good laugh.
Thank you so much for adding this series. It was one of my favorite shows on BYUtv, and it was a sad day when they removed it from their on demand library. I bought it on DVD a couple of years ago, but having it here makes it so much more convenient to watch while on the go.
Why does the first written account of the first vision in 1832 state that Joseph saw only "the Lord", while the official 1838 account mentions that God and Jesus were both present?
F A I T H!!!!!!!!! It's ALL a lesson in faith!!!!!! One's faith on this side of T I M E!!!!!! And the Faith of JOSEPH SMITH JR. and his family friends and the other members on their side of time!!!!!!!
20:09 now the book goes for 100-120k. Which is why I had a nervous break down when I saw Elder Holland handling one casually during general conference without gloves.
I met the owner of that copy, and he didn't put gloves on either. Yeah, I know, acid from fingers, oils, etc. But, the owner let me handle it too -- without gloves. I guess if you own it, you can do whatever you want. ;)
So the trees ages some more than 200 yes.... so in Joseph's smiths time.. the were not there or young trees... has it been it a well managed wood for 200 yrs then, to maintain it a keep it constant

Because he made it up as he went along.
Because it’s a lie free the pit of Hell
