There's still someone that think rondo is a great player. Ive been loving the way he plays since the title with Boston and i think with wade and butler he brings Chicago to the playoffs, maybe 6-8 seed. He is one of the last REAL playmakers
Fast forward to 2017. Lakers drafted a kid named Lonzo Ball, he reminds me so much of the Celtics Rondo! Not really a efficient scorer but he can pass the fucking ball very well!

Tashawn Davis Lets face it. Rondo and Rose are two point guards that arent as good as they used to be because of injuries. But at this point Rondo can contribute more with his knowledge of the game and his passing skills.

So many people are going to have to eat their words after next season comes to an end and Rondo/Butler have the Bulls in the playoffs.

***** people just like to shit on Rondo for what happened in Dallas and blame him for the Kings dysfunctional locker room, but he was a professional about his last season with the Kings. He didn't want to go back to that badly run organization, and be a part of that horrible locker room atmosphere, yet still throughout the season he had a border-line all star year and tried to be a leader/peace-keeper on that team. Now with a quality organization and being paired with Wade and Butler, the sky is the limit.
You're right, we will have to wait and see what happens here, but I think this team will play well.

People say it's not gonna work out between the 3, that they "have no shooters", just because there's no big names in the Bulls doesn't mean they don't have shooter(Doug, mirotic, felicio, Denzel, grant) can't wait till the Bulls get the chemistry together and fuck shit up
Doug and Mirotic aren't consistent enough unfortunately. Remember with Thibs Mirotic had a 40+ point game and the next game he was like 2/17? Then Doug might just not get enough good looks because when Jimmy was putting up big numbers he was eating up the shot clock with his isolation bullshit.
I also kinda think Cousins will follow on Rondo and join the Chicago Bulls too
His game is so perfect for a point guard. I don't care if you're not an amazing scorer at that position. You have 4 other positions to score and only one position that is looked upon to orchestrate the offense and there is NOBODY in the league better at doing that than Rondo. This was his first year with the Kings and he stepped right in and led the league in assists, show me another point guard who would do that. You can't. And now he will do it in Chicago.
Chris paul is only one better than Rondo at passing. Cp3 is on track to be at least 2nd assist all time passing steve nash, mark jackson, jason kidd and all them other pass 1st players.
Brendon Kearney Chris Paul is much better at creating an offense also upcoming Tyler ulis is a very good play maker . I would rate rondo about cp3 but rondo tends to ball stop to hoard assists and when needed cp3 can score
cp3 will be in the hall of fame no doubt, but I don't know if that's a fair comparison. Paul is a pg with melo-like scoring ability. Rondo don't have that. but what he does have is a mercurial passing ability. not that his passing game is better, but it is def more unpredictable. in some ways he reminds me of j will, only rondo is not just flash.

I'm excited man, this dude is only 30 years old and hopefully he can get back some of that energy on defense now that he's out of the black hole that is Sacramento basketball. The Bulls have really never had this sort of distributor, even going back to the Jordan era.
Hopefully he brings last year's jump shot with him too, I was shocked to see he shot 36% from 3.

Cmon, Bulls fans! Have a little hope! I think Rajon is a great pick up! Sure he has some off court issues ,but maybe he'll work that out! And I still think the Bulls are a playoff team. Maybe 6-8 seed. Rondo lead the league in the assists. Jimmy is going to average 25 points+.

This is actually amazing for the Bulls, rose isn't in his prime anymore and never will be his injuries have been taken way to far and his full potential is far from it. In the other hand Rondo doesn't have any major injurys, which on paper sets him to a successful next couple of years if he's set with the right people.

Rondo a Floor General , That Mavs coach wanted to called every play that what's fucked Rondo up u gotta let your point guard have his freedom now he was on the Kings he averaged like 12 assts per game .
rondo takes too long to make decisions. he messes up the flow if the offense by holding onto tge ball for so long. then when he makes a decision, its usually to pass instead if taking a shot. He needs to laern to let the game flow, instead of forcing the action on his own.

He is better than Rose. Rondo is a top 10 PG. Rose is Top 15.
It's debatable, but it's honestly kinda easy to guard Rondo at times with his unreliable jumper and awful free throw shooting. All you gotta do is back off him and when he does drive just foul him. He's got insane vision and finishing but D Rose is at least a little more reliable for scoring. Rondo would be insane if he had a decent jumper, like at least 35% from three. Same problem with D Rose except he can actually shoot free throws, but then again injuries have limited him
