Love your videos. Bookmarked the restaurants you recommended on Google Maps so I can go there when I’m in Da Nẵng next year. Btw, are you Vietnamese-Australians? Your pronunciation of Vietnamese food is on point.
Dion and Kim, I'm crushed that you don't think my theory of old, retired tires salesmen aren't the prime "suspects" for handing out these "stars". Here in the US, we love our conspiracy theories. Hear me out on this: Michelin = tires. You eat enough in these restaurants and you'll get tire belly - THERE!! 'nough said. Seriously, I'll be visiting VN in a few months and will be tracing some of your steps. You'd better be right in some of these places. I'll be staking out some of these places and watch out for old Frenchmen with tire bellies eating in these establishments.🤣
Baha we loved your theory so much 😂😂, it was such a great topic of discussion for us!!! Oooo yes! You'll have to let us know how you go when you visit 🫶🏼
@Limewire1984 to be honest, we don't really remember seeing much restaurants selling Mi Quang back in Melbourne, Australia. so that's really good that they do sell it in the U.S! hopefully for that price it does taste amazing!!
@@dionandkimx If you pay them enough, they'll make it, haha. There is a Vietnamese restaurant that would do lau de [goat hot pot], but you have to call ahead, provide your own goat, and fork over like $100.
@Limewire1984 hahaha that is actually crazy to hear, Lẩu Dê is one of those dishes that is impossible to find in restaurants in Australia but having it at home was the way to go!
My trip next year, definitely will check these out. Thanks for sharing.
Let us know what you think! Enjoy your trip ☺️
Every thing look amazing ❤
So good!! And affordable!

Thank you! We're amazed at how affordable Michelin Guide restaurants are here in Vietnam!!
Best bowl of Bun Thit Nuong? I am coming to Da Nang just for that. 😋
We've loved how affordable Michelin guide restaurants have been here in Da Nang!
@@dionandkimx yes, you'll find a lot of Michelin guide restaurants selling very affordable foods. Thanks for sharing your Michelin experience.
We can't wait to also cover more Michelin in Thailand!!
*Chả cua* ! 🦀🥓
I really fancy going to Danang next year. Do you have any pointers on where you can find an apartment with a proper kitchen.
we didn't have a stay with a proper kitchen so sorry we can't be as helpful on this for you, we'd recommend trying airbnb though!

We definitely recommend all these restaurants when you are in Da Nẵng! Yes, wee are both Australian born Vietnamese 😊😊
Are you serious? A Michelin guide food dish costs you only 2 bucks! That's unheard-of.
We know! It's crazy 😱😱
What kind of source in that noodle
The first noodle of your day what kind of sauces
The first meal is Mì Quảng which is generally a turmeric noodle soup dish with pork and prawn 😊
Thank you
No problem 😊
Can you eat the roasted pork mince salad with rice instead of noodles?
interesting question, i don't believe there was rice on the menu!
but you can get it in wrap formation (still no rice though) 😅
🎉

I think a bowl of Mi Quang would go for at least ten USD where I live [upstate NY], maybe fifteen. Depends which restaurant you patronize.

It's incredible and such a delight to see how cheap Michelin can be in Vietnam!
