  • What is Fusion 360? Is it CAD? Is it Freeform & Surfacing? Is it Data Management? Is it Simulation Software? Or is it a 2.5 + 3 axis CAM software application?
It’s not any one of those things, it’s all of those things. And you need to check it out.

I like the program, but hate how I can't adapt the controls to mimic what I'm used to in other CAD programs (DesignSpark Mechanical). Not being able to manually re-bind controls to right and middle mouse buttons (rotate and pan) is extremely frustrating.

There is an option in "Preferences" to change the orbit, pan, & view functions to mimic other CAD software you may be used to. It's located on the first page in "Preferences". DesignSpark is not an option though. But you may find something that better suits you. The options are Fusion, Alias, Inventor, and Solidworks. Hope maybe this helps, - Jacob S.

Also a 3D mouse would fix all this and their also very enjoyable to use, and they will increase your productivity (At least for most people it does.). - Jacob S.

Would it be possible to adapt the controls to what I'm used to (Blender)? I have been using Fusion for a little bit but I can't seem to figure out how to do that.
