DMC 4 Vergil is may favorite.. His summon swords feel way more powerful, and alone the visual design and sound design of the weapons in 4 are incredible. Don't get me wrong.5 is an amazing game, I just like Vergil's voice lines, the actual Force Edge and not the Mirage Blade/Edge, his weapon sounds and effects like on Beowulf and Force Edge. Compare "Drive" with DMC4 and 5. Then you will see what I mean.

You can tell they really wanted you to see how refined and balanced and powerful vergil is now in DMC5

I really miss Vergil’s DMC3 Upper Slash and Downward Slash follow up.

I kinda prefer the effect on enemies of DMC3’s version of Rapid Slash. It feels more powerful than DMC5’s.
