Dynasty Warriors Gundam - All Character Intros + Unique Suit Quotes

Everyone has three normal quotes for when you enter a stage, and usually one for their own suit, and at most one unique quote for a suit they don't usually wear.
I've been wanting to do this video for a long time now. I would have gotten it done sooner but I lost the work files from my original go at this game, which is fine because I wanted HD quality anyways, but man, what really held this project back was the RNG of each character line. It takes about a minute each time you load up to a stage with character and suit.
And it feels like the quote you want to hear for the suit you are wearing has like a 10% chance of showing up (I didn't actually get Amuro's Funnels quote until my 4th session into recording these intros). And then sometimes, when you want a normal quote, you get it 5 times more! (was doing that with Matser Asia).
Either way, after all that there are still two quotes that I am not even sure are around. One for Puru-Two inside her Qubeley and Master Asia in his Master Gundam. I'm not even sure if they do have one, but they kind of stand out in that regard. I want to say Puru-Two doesn't have one because she doesn't care to reference her suit (plus she mainly uses the big green one anyways), but for Master Asia I have no idea why.

I love the fact that they were able to get some of the dub VAs in this game. I should definitely play this at some point.
That's part of the fun! Being able to see the characters, especially their original voices, return to replay them. Is why I focus so much on the dub when I can! :)

Can’t believe there’s someone making videos of this game this recently. This game is one of my best childhood memories, I’m sad to think I don’t have a way to play it nowadays and wish for some pc port or remaster but I’m still so happy videos of this game exist
Still one of my favorite games ever, and I think making videos of old games is still interesting as there is still so much secrets out there that isn't documented on them despite their age. Even with all this information there is still things not shown! It's wild.

Agreed, the only ones that wouldn't be confused about it would be Domon and Master Asia, none of the others have even seen any cockpit like it

I loved how Domon treated Puru. Even when she betrayed him because she wanted to be with Judau he wasnt mad.
Could be wrong as I haven't seen G, but my understanding of Domon is he respects anyone who acts on what their heart desires.

Thank you so much! :D Yeah the RNG to get all these going drove me crazy. Especially hearing Char saying the same line over and over and over again trying to get the one to pop. Yet sometimes you get really lucky and they say the unique line in one try.

I would have bought this game hands down if only the voice of domon sounded a bit closer. the way he delivered the linse in the anime still stands the test of time
Personally, I prefer the warriors Gundam Domon a lot more. I didn't watch the dub (stuck with sub) til way later after I played Warriors Gundam 1 and 2 so the anime voice always sounded way too high for me.

@@pattouco It's a bit harder to do with the other games but there are some things I can do from them. I have my ideas for DWG2 and DWG3, but for now I'm sticking with DWG1 as there's still a few things from it to show off. Which, also takes time lol

My copy of the 3rd dynasty warriors was taken with my brother by accident when he moved out and unfortunately got stolen. So now my only way to remember these games is Gundam dynasty warriors 2 on my PS2. It sucks we’ll never see another one of these
Of the ps3 gundam musou's, this one was the best.... In every way possible. The character models looked amazing. The real-time cut scene animations were amazing and this one had zero slowdown with hundreds of enemies on the screen.

1 I like Amuro piloted a red Zaku, Gelgoog Qubeley, and Turn A Gundam because. If Amuro piloted Turn A he would be Unstoppable. 2 I love char piloted RX-78-2 Gundam if it had become Red🟥.3 I love kamile Reaction to the Hyaku Shiki.4 If siracco piloted Wing Zero he would've been very dangerous.5 I like Judau piloted a red Zaku. 6 I like Roux reaction to the God Gundam. 7 If Domon Piloted wing zero he would've been a killing machine. 8 Looks like Master Asia has a like to the Musha Gundam. 9 If heero fights with a God Gundam he needs to figure out how to work with it. 10 I like Zechs call himself the Red flash with the Gelgoog. 11 Loran piloted the Legendary white devil now that's cool 😎
You missed a Puru two one in her sister's Qubeley, where she tries going 'Puru, puru..." but then gives up on it, although that might be in DWG2, I distinctly remember doing that just to hear her say it when I played, but I might be misremembering which game it's from (feels like this one tho).

This could make sense! And it wouldn't be the first time I've missed something from the Loran/Puru-Two/Emma side of things with this game.
As well RNG is a REAL pain. She was the only one I was able to get 3 standard lines out of it and no line unique to being in her own mobile suit, compared to everyone else. Which is why her section is the shortest one.
It's like Judau is eating his words somehow and all the saliva are always building in his mouth everytime he speak
Feels weird hearing English voices coming out of Gundam characters, I’ve always heard their Japanese voices.
True, I'm too used to Kamille's JP voice that hearing his EN voice feels really weird.
What the hell is with Domon's voice...it's like they mixed Domon, Chibodee and Master Asia.

Interesting! I wasn't aware that the other games had these, so mostly need to figure those things out. I assume in Gundam 3 it's when you drop down, they will say a comment?

iirc setsuna has a line with burning/god gundam where he says "there is no god, only my gundam" although i may be confusing that with the sd gundam games
Sorry to say it but you missed one. When launching as Haman in Char’s zaku she’ll say: „Heh heh, so this is Char’s mobile suit.”
Haha, I appreciate that! There's so much RNG in this game that some lines just can be missed no matter how many times I reload over and over.
I think it's a crime that bandai hasn't made the dynasty warriors Gundam series backwards compatible on xbox

if you are not sure if some pilots have certain quotes, can't you check that in the audio gallery?, when you have all of them for a pilot a big "all complete" appears, unless i am remembering things wrong
I actually have the audio gallery unlocked, and about 90% of the lines there are more about being able to relisten to them react lines from the show. Only a few lines are pilot lines. You can check the video of it in my channel if you want to confirm what's in it, I did a recording of it.

@@Megalopros It's no problem! Yeah, I was disappointed originally as a kid how the lines were select lines and not everything. Like in current Dynasty Warriors games.

Pardon me for asking, but what is the song or track used for Roux Louka and Puru Two? I just love those tracks anc can't get out of my head. I'm also very unfamiliar with ZZ.
No problem! It's called Calling to the Wind. It's actually an original song for Dynasty Warriors: Gundam so no worries if you are unfamiliar with ZZ in that regard.
Edit: Probably seems kind of weird I didn't use a ZZ song for them huh, looking back? Especially how most people got their actual themes to use.

Thanks! I put in the music through a video editor, as I had to edit all the intros anyways so better to have a connecting song.
Some of the songs in this video is in the game, however, some select ones are only in the japanese version.

The Turn A (∀) means "for all" which makes it the "ultimate". Plus, it has objectively the 2 strongest things in Gundam, the Moonlight Butterfly and the Psycho-Frame. Though I understand that you don't like it being the strongest just for the sake of it
this was the only good dynasty warriors gundam game. All the extra shit they added in the other games just makes them lame and stupid. They cut quality original content for stupid weird mechanics.
I like how Amuro has the gundam mkII in the second quote.
