Marq is more easier to understand though and can have a more interesting angle (especially for general usage)

Finally, a reviewer that appreciates the white bezels. I was never a fan of white bezels until i saw this iMac and how it definitely looks a lot better in a living-room/kitchen space instead of an office.

I really like the way Dave presented this. The table isn't between Dave and the camera, but he's still showcasing the product.

This is my third review video I’ve watched for the iMac. What made this one by far the best:
* Showed the MagSafe connector magic pins in the thumbnail
* Called out a study that black bezels help make you (a tiny amount) more efficient despite preferring white
* Great close-ups on cables, the ultra-thin edge, feet
* Excellent overview of the box and all accessories
* Cinebench numbers front and center for previous years’ machine
damn this guy's house is so clean and white. I would be scared to even step in it if I ever got the opportunity lol

Great video Dave, You're probably right that it is designed to be a versatile machine that fits into any home decor. I feel that the extra bezel space/chin at the bottom is perfect for sticking post-it notes.
that mouse charging upside down rather than letting you actually use it while it's charging is the perfect example of form over function
Too bad the form is wrong too. Magic mouse is ugly to go with being unusable.

Liking the new angle and the layout of your studio now. Much better thanks for taking the feedback. Still a little too gray in the background but now that you and the products occupy most of the frame, it looks much better.
Your communication skill is impeccable!!! The only time music was played was during the intro and outro. Not even a second was I bored throughout the 10 min video. So concise and clean delivery. Love this video!

I have to say Dave's house is really interesting how the walls, staircase and a part of the shelves look modern yet the cornices and kitchen are more classic

of the videos in your new studio i've seen so far, I like this side-by-side setup the best. I think it's more engaging that both the viewer and dave are both seeing the machine from the (roughly) the same angle.

I really like Dave’s new studio. I think his decision to ditch the desk setup also gives him the opportunity to be more flexible when it comes to choosing the position of the camera for shooting reviews. Dave looks happier now too.

I liked his old set up better. Like he had to sit cross legged all the way through this video so his crotch wasn’t prominent in the frame. Sort of looks awkward to me.

I love your new studio, the rough look and the lights looks awesome. The computer looks like a iPad Pro (the big one) with the side extended to fit more electronics, and with a stand glued to the back.
I just need to take a moment and mention something I don't think Dave gets enough credit for: I just love that he wastes no time getting to the point of his videos. In a time when it feels like 80% of video content is wasting my time, this is one of the few channels where that never happens. Thank you and keep up the amazing work!

Dave! The new camera setup is crisp as heck! Frames looks hella smooth and the video quality is super sharp! It was a treat to watch this on my LG C1.

lcd's are a technology of the past. IPS just suck compared to oled, and anything high end should have oled in it.

Haha I love the solution you decided to adopt; it gives very chill vibes with you sitting, products are well presented, and it preserves the nice camera framing that makes the office's aesthetics stand out. Love it, it definitely speaks Dave2D to me.
Finally, a RUclipsr with good taste in aesthetics. No irrational obsession of matte black, no love for RGB, just clean and bright setups

Impressed with your presentation. First reviewer that I have seen other that Marquise Brownlee that made the review easy to watch, easy to follow without out the unnecessary hand movement and over excited voice. You are now on my follow list.

Eh. I think this is oriented at a general computer and not a work horse computer. This is something kids do homework on or parents make family videos on or pay bills, or maybe a receptionist desk. I wouldn’t work on this, but I can see who it’s for. Apple marketed this device towards families and not professionals.

Thanks. Getting the green to match my iPhone Mini and iPad Air! Love it! I will say that your comparison at the end was not fair though. These are the 24 inch entry level models and you were comparing it to a top of the line 27 inch Intel iMac. Wait until the new 30 inch iMacs with the M1X come out, it will trounce the older iMac in everything including GPU performance.

They should have focussed on tne front instead of the back. Most of the backs will be facing the wall anyways. Remove the white or 'light grey' bezels and underchin. Add normal colors.
And add user upgradable RAM and SSD. It may need to become slightly thicker but that's fine it is a desktop after all.
