I’ve been struggling with my mental health recently, so about a week ago I asked them if we could look into a small pet like a fish or lizard. They said maybe and so I asked today if I could get a hamster and my dad said “do your research and find how to take care of it when we’re on vacation” so that’s exactly what I’m doing lol

My mom said I can get one once I show I can clean my budgie’s cage more often, and if I close my door all the time so my rodent eating dog doesn’t kill it. My dad though really doesn’t want me having another pet, ive already had a hamster and I will pay for it all myself so I hope they will finally let me get one! I’m going to hint and talk about it when theyre in good moods, so theyll be for likely to say yes😂
I told my mom I was going to clean the cage, pay for it, feed it, supply it, with water, and she wouldn’t have to do anything while I’m at my dads and she still said no 😭😭
i used to have 3 hamsters and i had two dwarfs and a syrian (all in different cages of course) but i would like to have another syrian because their very friendly
My dad said he would send a hamster over to my moms house but I don’t think my mom and stepdad want it at their house so now I’m begging them to allow me to have it at their house
My mum said that we might not get a hammy because we want another family dog:( still exited for the dog but he isn't allowed upstairs and I have a massive room anyways so the hammy can have a cage up to good size and toys but im still young and im autistic so I'm not as responsible as I should be..
I don’t have a hamster but I want it … ima tryna help you… maybe tell them to not always pick up your hamster by taking their skin cuz my frds dad picked up then bite him.. so maybe tryna tell them this
I would tell them that if they do bite it’s not even that bad , my bestie has a hamster named bambi ( he is my god child ) he bites / nibbles alot , I made him fly once ~ but it does not hurt , and doesn’t really do much , it more of tickles , and if you get him as a baby he won’t bite near as much , also you can teach them from baby or not ! Get them not from a pet store, get a baby one, say if you get one from a baby they won’t bite.
