I grew up in the same area and have known many bowlers at Plano Super Bowl who talk about him a lot. They’re always rooting for him when he’s on TV

These two documentaries have been incredible, I'd love to see more features like this - the content, storytelling, production, everything.

The fact that Simonsen overcame the tragedies he had gone through and still does what he loves is incredible. And he is one of the best at doing what he loves. Bowling is the best sport.

This kid should never be doubted ever again in his life for what he has gone through to achieve what he's always wanted to do for the rest of his life.

Anthony is my inspiration not only as a bowler but as a person. I relate to him a lot. Nice to see his story is being shared with us all. Makes me respect him a hell of a lot more than I already did

Excellent video. Very sad at times, but this young man has overcome the odds and has become one of the top bowlers in the PBA.

I bowled the DFW Youth Travel League with Simonsen most of my youth bowling years. He was a fun kid to watch even for us other kids at the time. Always enjoyed it. Watched him roll a 300 around 2010 ish in Greenville, TX. Also bowled head to head best 2 of 3 match against him at City View Ft worth around the same year. He won the first game and beat me the 2nd 244-243. Hell of a time and memory. Best wishes for a long career for him.

This was tough to watch for me as my mother has early onset Alzheimer's. I always wanted to to something professionally and my mother was always my biggest supporter. Getting serious into bowling its very sad to think if i get to that point she might not even remember who i am anymore. I related so deeply with simo as i have spent nights crying because my mom really is my best friend. From a young age i told her everything i was the biggest mamas boy and its tough watching the transition. Keep these videos up i really love learning the players backstories and hardships that i am currently idolizing.

I can relate to how Anthony handles not bowling well. I am the same exact way. I always tell myself I’m going to handle bad breaks better and I always act the same way. I’ve been working on it but sometimes my frustration gets the best of me

Such a beautiful story 👍🏻 and it reminds me a lot of myself about how my life kind of was growing up definitely not the same by any means but I had the potential he had but unfortunately didn't capitalize on it like how Anthony did but just like my grandma used to say it's never too late and I also plan on joining him on the pba tour I know I'm good enough I just need the opportunity maybe someday ☺️👌🏻💯

I've seen a lot of people hate on him for his attitude, I'm glad to see what made him what he is today, even though he still has occasional outbursts, it's directly at himself unlike some bowlers who blame others for their inability to win. I hope Simo reaches that level of peace in his mind i'm sure it's not easy with his life experiences. nevertheless, he is one of the greats of the sport.

I learned to bowl at Ayr Lanes in Liberal Kansas. It wasn't Billy's at the time and they had 24 lanes instead of 16. 1-8 used to be where the bar, arcade and dance floor is now. It is so cool to see that hanging on the wall

@@LucasWiseman That’s always aggravating good thing RUclips can do wonders if the actual owners provide proof they own original footage. You look like you guys film in raw, so easily can have it taken down!
Look forward to seeing y’all in Vegas later this year

three major things I would like to say
first things first belmo hit it right on the dot as soon as he gets rid of his anger mental game he will be just as good or better than Belmo
second thing I know that he didn't finish high school but if something horribly happened to him I know this bowling community would seriously take care of him and the business he has in Vegas
third thing is is I pray for him that he finds faith in Jesus Christ which is the most important out of everything else combined
