I feel like Gumball is like the lone brother in the start of the cartoon renaissance. Adventure Time and Regular Show get the best treatment (not really) but Gumball is just there in the corner without getting the attention it deserves.
Oh please. Gumball did not deserve any attention at all. It wasted 8 years of our lives with dumb plots, unlikable characters and cringe-worthy jokes, and all we got was that lousy finale. TAWOG is pretty much like college: once you finish it, you realize how useless it actually is.

"CNN has done an incredible job in acknowledging their finales." I understand that everyone wants the proper treatment for the shows they love but the network can only do so much to advertise and budget their advertisements. The Amazing World Of Gumball was one of those shows that got sacrificed with no promotion and it's just that CNN doesn't live up to their POTENTIAL.

And it was revealed that a Live action Michael Jelenic paused the tv and a Live Action Aaron Horvath goes on wondering if it had to end like that and Micheal replied that it's what the viewers would have wanted for a long time.
They only advertise finales of shows that are popular. If a show isn't as popular like ppg and Clarence and UG, they don't care. As long as the finale isn't a cliffhanger I'm fine with it. They didn't advertise Gumballs ending cause a movie is meant to be the finale. They hyped up the 200th episode for Gumball. Why wouldn't they hype up the finale. I think cause a movie is on the way.
Well, a movie is a big thing, and Steven Universe has the biggest fanbase out of all the shows that ever aired on Cartoon Network. Clarence and OK K.O were nowhere near that popular, and with Gumball, there's a chance that the show might get a movie which will be the show's true finale.

I predict 2020 will be the dooms day year of CN. All the good shows are over, Steven universe is in it's last season and how long do they think the can satisfy watchers with reruns of Teen titans go before people get sick of them. I don't know what they'll do but ignoring finals won't cut it the need more shows( THAT ARE GOOD).
CN has good stuff it can show, they just choose to spam TTG. Remember when Boomerang only showed reruns? Keep in mind that only Daytime CN was suffering, Adult Swim is doing ok thanks to Adult Swim Toonami, & the incredible popularity of Rick & Morty. Of course Adult Swim also gets trash shows like Family Guy that are overshown. If Adult Swim wanted to they could show 2 hours of Toonami stuff each night for the purpose of showing reruns of Naruto Shippuden, Hunter x Hunter, Dragon Ball Super, & other lengthy series. Likewise if Daytime Cartoon Network wanted to they could try to bring back Miguzi to show DC stuff, & Anime aimed at kids. Boomeraction could potentially be brought back & rebroadcast the Naruto Dub that CN showed in 2005 or reruns of Dragon Ball/DBZ that were shown back in the day alongside stuff like Beware the Batman, & the DC series seen as too mature for Miguzi yet not quite adult enough to require them being on Adult Swim. CN's problems are very similar to those faced by the Sonic Series, only Cartoon Network actually had a few successful 2010s series. Where as Sonic's only highly praised game this decade was Sonic Mania. CN even had its own Sonic 06 known as CN Real. Toonami would still thrive during 2007 & half of 2008 thanks to Naruto's popularity. Even after a series ends it still has its popular episodes that people will keep wanting to go back to.
The problem here is the current management at CN only cares about two things, online apps and cheap reboots (like Titans Go.) Because TTG is so much more "popular" than more acclaimed shows like KND, Steven Universe, Gumball and others; the execs feel that IT deserves more commercial time. I look forward to the day where the current head is booted out and we'll get someone more competent in charge

Not only did gumball not get advertised, it didn’t even get a proper ending. At least ok ko made the best of it. Gumball seemed like the team just said “ah screw it. The show is over let’s just make one more mediocre episode and call it quits”
Cartoon finales do deserve better. I think it's best to let the kids and anyone watching the show that is going to end and not just re-runs so they think that it's still going on.

I DIDN EVEN KNOW CLARENCE ENDED!! But yea I rarely watch TV anymore. Earlier (this year? last year?) mom hooked up my TV to cable even tho I didn't really ask and I still never watched it. I thought OK KO was just gone until I turned on the TV one sunday and there it was. And Adventure Time I never realised was ending until CN advertised it like 'Hey Adventure Time is ending yall' and I was like It didnt end yet?' and I didn't even know who PB''s Uncle was or anything. SU I already commented about on the Crystal Clear episode on the Diamonds being reformed, but basically I said I wasn't really caught up on that either. To me CN mostly seemed to be about TTG, Gumball and Total Dramarama. We dont even have cable anymore (or we do but only like basic channels, no CN or anything)

I have noticed Cartoon Network hasn't acknowledged a series in a while. The last time was for Steven Universe. I didn't know Gumball was ending until I randomly saw the series creator's post online. It is pretty disappointing that we have to check social media to know if a series is ending or has ended. Usually, there would be a screen bug saying "Series Final". I don't really have cable, just the internet to watch channels.

I love gumball. I had no idea that it ended. Another reason I think to add on with how everyone's streaming is, that cable is getting really expensive, I mean sure theres stuff like sling, but even my family had to cut both cable and sling, so we rely on hulu, netflix and RUclips for stuff to watch.
Gumball finale did not advitise. MLP and Star Vs. Promoted the series finale. OK KO promoted a 1 hour special event to the promo. But it didn't advertise as a series finale. However, this show was canceled by creators from the TV News websites.

I always thought mighty magiswords was a really cute show and be on for a while. They had the mobile app that you could collect all these different swords from different shows. They made a huge deal of it, then poof... They weren't showing it anymore.
My problem with the finales is that once they air, that's it, we're never seeing them on the show again. I watched the We Bare Bears finale and knew that once I watched it, I'd never see it on TV again, and the sad part is that I was right. What's so wrong with allowing reruns of these shows that played their finales? Adventure Time and Regular Show were cornerstones of the network and now they're never to see the spotlight again, it's madness.

Not only did gumball not get advertised, it didn’t even get a proper ending. At least ok ko made the best of it. Gumball seemed like the team just said “ah screw it. The show is over let’s just make one more mediocre episode and call it quits”
Cartoon finales do deserve better. I think it's best to let the kids and anyone watching the show that is going to end and not just re-runs so they think that it's still going on.

The worst is when a show stops airing at all, since then when it ends and only some people find out it’s practically making kids think the show just isn’t airing at this time.
Screw that! The way they ended Gumball had me pissed! No lead way no advertisements nothing! But yeah back in the 90s and early 2000s they made it known and you knew what it was. Regular Show was the last one to get a proper send off. Even Steven Universe got a movie and maybe a follow up season or series. But Gumball just got a quick hand shake and nothing. Same thing with Ok K.O it was just rushed
You already know that Total Dramarama and Teen Titans Go will get series finale trailers, if CN ever decides to end them.
For as much as they promoted adventure times finale I would have expected the ratings to be higher than they were considering how many viewers adventure time lost over the years you'd think they would come back for the last episode and on top of that a series recap video was trending on yt
I mean for Regular Show and Adventure Time they hyped up the last episodes and it was worth it. I don’t know what’s the problem with Gumball though. Maybe they advertise the shows that was a MAJOR hit all these years

The crazy thing is I loved Clarence , it was the fact that it kept me entertained without crazy storylines and magic or monsters and aliens it was just kids having fun , and I literally found out it ended a few months ago when I got up and did the research myself 😭 CRAZY

Earlier (this year? last year?) mom hooked up my TV to cable even tho I didn't really ask and I still never watched it. I thought OK KO was just gone until I turned on the TV one sunday and there it was. And Adventure Time I never realised was ending until CN advertised it like 'Hey Adventure Time is ending yall' and I was like It didnt end yet?' and I didn't even know who PB''s Uncle was or anything. SU I already commented about on the Crystal Clear episode on the Diamonds being reformed, but basically I said I wasn't really caught up on that either.
To me CN mostly seemed to be about TTG, Gumball and Total Dramarama. We dont even have cable anymore (or we do but only like basic channels, no CN or anything)
I hope Mao Mao won’t get the same treatment...

I have noticed Cartoon Network hasn't acknowledged a series in a while. The last time was for Steven Universe. I didn't know Gumball was ending until I randomly saw the series creator's post online. It is pretty disappointing that we have to check social media to know if a series is ending or has ended. Usually, there would be a screen bug saying "Series Final". I don't really have cable, just the internet to watch channels.

Because the shows already on the way out, as far as they care it doesn't matter if they advertise it or not and they see it as just a waste of money. There's really nothing left on TV to watch now, everything good has ended/been shitcanned. It's really making it hard to be happy or look forward to anything when it all turns into a bad comedy series and all the shows that actually try get executed... Steven Universe kind of is dead to me after that white diamond arc was a giant waste of buildup.

I love gumball. I had no idea that it ended. Another reason I think to add on with how everyone's streaming is, that cable is getting really expensive, I mean sure theres stuff like sling, but even my family had to cut both cable and sling, so we rely on hulu, netflix and RUclips for stuff to watch.

My problem with the finales is that once they air, that's it, we're never seeing them on the show again. I watched the We Bare Bears finale and knew that once I watched it, I'd never see it on TV again, and the sad part is that I was right. What's so wrong with allowing reruns of these shows that played their finales? Adventure Time and Regular Show were cornerstones of the network and now they're never to see the spotlight again, it's madness.
