Omggg I love your meal preps 🤤🤤 me and mom would always do the cross cross in sugar too! I switched to my “winter flip flops” which are outdoor slippers 😅
In soooo excited you have shared the peanut butter cookies!!!!! My granny made those every year. When she passed I tried finding the recipe but apparently it was one she made from memory!!!
I love peanut butter cookies! A dear friend frequently makes dozens to take to a nearby men's shelter, can you imagine the warm Midwest memories that come back as those cookies are eaten! Thanks for sharing the recipe, I lost my recipe book in a move, so now I can make them again!
Those PB cookies look yummy! I found a really easy recipe if you ever are in a hurry....1 cup of PB, 3/4 c of sugar and 1 egg. Roll them in sugar and flatten. 8 mins and they are done!
I found a great way to hard boil eggs without an instant pot....use a steamer insert in your pot, fill to just below the insert, boil the water, then put in the eggs, and low boil for exactly 20 minutes. Cool under cold running water, and peel....its so awesome! No ice bath necessary and perfectly peeled eggs every time for me!
My stove is black on top to and even windex won't shine it and remove the streaks. I have to use furniture polish. I like the behold brand in citrus because it smells so good. 💖💖
I love making peanut butter cookies roll them into a ball put them in a mini muffin pan and then push a miniature Reese cup down in the center and bake them. they are delicious! that was actually the first cookie that I made for the 12 days of Christmas cookies videos
Merry Christmas Jen and family ! I’m so enjoying your vlogmiss episodes. My favourite tip from you is washing produce with vinegar in my salad spinner. Never use it that I don’t think of you ❤️ you are an amazing Mom and homemaker, I am in awe of all the things you get accomplished each day . I watch you from Nova Scotia, Canada
HAHA! Minnesotan checking in. Can confirm, flip flops, sweater, sweatpants. I have my mom's voice in my head, so I at least throw my coat in the car. But otherwise, that's it. 10f is a heatwave...lol That said, I can't wait for winter. =D My favorite time of year.
Learned something new from your video today. I have the exact same stove as you and I never thought to put the grates in the dishwasher. You know i am going to try that. What a great tip, thanks. Love your channel.
Classic Peanut butter cookies are my fav ❤ at Christmas time we make a pb cup cookie line mini muffin tin, roll cookie dough into ball, bake. when they come out push miniature pb cup into middle of cookie.
It’s been in the low 20’s here in Texas and I head into the next town to pick up my Walmart pickup order at 7:00 a.m. in flip flops, pj’s with a hoodie thrown over them 😳. You just gotta do what you gotta do!
Crisco has some excellent cookie recipes. The blossom recipe I use that combines Crisco and Jif is the only one I use. I also only use Crisco's recipe for Snickerdoodles. Have you ever made Peanut Butter Chunkies? They use Butterfingers!
Here in a freezing New Jersey, I do the same thing, when picking up groceries! But instead of of the sweatpants, I wear my pj pants with flip flops and a sweatshirt and stuff my hair in some kind of hat☺️ congratulations on 79,000 subscribers! I work at a hospital and have told all of my friends and co-workers to subscribe to your channel! We so understand the early work hours, lure of the cafeteria with so many calorie laden lunches/dinners and the traveling!
I am from Kansas, by way of Connecticut...I hardly ever wear coats...hoodies & layers is where it's at...and yes, I wear flip flops with my sweatpants!
FedEx is horrible! I had a package that said it was delivered but I knew it wasn’t because I was outside with the kids playing in the snow when it supposedly got left. I had such a hard time reaching a person to talk to about it on the day of, so I waiting till the next day to deal with it again and then we finally found out that it got delivered to the next street over. I had my husband go get it and he said they just left it out in the rain and snow so the box was trashed. It was expensive work boots so it was a bit annoying.
Hark! Was that the Corona commercial whistling Oh, Christmas Tree? 🍻 Hahaha Don't even get me started with FedEx, UPS or USPS. They all suck hard up here in the winter😑 Entirely unacceptable!! Like heavy snowfall is a new concept
I’ve had a crazy busy month and missed Vlogmas with you-! I’m now frantically trying to catch up! Still on the one just before your trip to Cancun and need to return to the Turkey day one as well!
I'm not a flip flop person but I'm definitely a hoodie person. I hate bringing out a bulky coat unless I absolutely have to. Do you guys have the Chestnut Praline Latte in american starbucks? I know we have one flavour in Canada that's different but can't remember what it was. If you do happen to have the praline latte I definitely recommend it. It's not as sweet as the other flavours I find. And I love the toppings they use for that one.
Ok granted I am 58 yrs old,but I thought I was organized with meal plans...geez when do you rest? I work Monday thru Friday and cook on Saturday for the week and it takes me like at least three hours and then gotta clean up the mess...Hell I am done and have a wine buzz by then..But you go make cookies and shit take care of your kids ...You are amazing girl love ya
Love the flip flops! Also had issues with FedEx. Have a 600 plus ft driveway. FedEx left packages 20 ft down from our mailbox twice. One was a TV. Grrrr fedex! Love your videos. Thanks for doing vlogmas
Jen check out QVC, they have a wide selection of items, great prices plus easy pay and depending on the item, lots of accessories to go with the item. I guess you know the Q is my favorite.
Grabbed the FreshJax “Gift Sampler” for my folks for Xmas, so excited for them to open it, I think they’re going to love it! It was so hard to decide on only 5, they had so many awesome ones. Emails were super quick and came by USPS priority mail lickers split! 👍🎁📬
I’m from Tennessee, but it does get cold here, and I wear flip flops all the time!! I get comments about it all the time!! I’m a hairdresser and I work in merrell flip flops, they’re very comfortable, but it freaks people out to see me in my sandals!! Lol!! It has to be pretty cold for me to even wear regular shoes in to work!! I Hope you’re having a Great day!! 😍🎄🎅🏻
Do you have any silpat mats? They are the best. I have bought the less expensive ones at costco. I only make rolled sugar cookies once a year. Its a complete disaster LOL to clean up, but my kids love it.
It’s always flip flop weather. I will never part with them. We have some cold weather here in Jersey too and I will wear them with no regrets! You rock those flip flops in that 10 degree weather 🤣🤣🤣. No judgment ever!!!!
OK....sorry for all the comments, should have waited until I watched the whole video.....LOVE the candy cane cookies. They are my favorite holiday cookie, but a PAIN to make..
I have sure enjoyed these videos! ❤️ ( you mentioned the Netflix show, Dirty John, we finished watching the series last night, it ended just the way it should have!)
Fed Ex has dont the mailbox thing with me too and my mailbox is 100+ feet from the house and you cant even see it from the house. I contacted the vendor that ships with Fed Ex and told them if they couldnt deliver to my door I would not order from the vendor again. They put a note in with Fed Ex and I havent had that problem again.
I DNT prep food at all to freeze it's only my hubby n I but, I was wondering if a scrumble egg taste funny like rubbery after u warm up in a microwave ? I heard on another channel it does . What's ur advice on this? TFS 😇
I do scrambled eggs a day or so in advance and they are fine. I do use liquid (whole milk, sour cream or almond milk) so maybe the extra liquid helps. Try it! Saves time on the mornings you can just reheat vs cooking from fresh!
I watched a documentary recently about our royal family. Apparently the Queen used to serve Veuve Clicquot at banquets but in recent times of austerity, she now serves a god supermarket own brand. If I ever can find a link I'll post it. I agree that a high price doesn't always mean the most enjoyable taste but I've never yet met a champagne that I didn't like !
Omggg I love your meal preps 🤤🤤 me and mom would always do the cross cross in sugar too! I switched to my “winter flip flops” which are outdoor slippers 😅
My mom use to make candy cane cookies every year. Brought back find memories.
The candy cane cookies sound super yummy 😋 We love making those peanut butter cookies, super easy to make in big batches and hand out!

Sweater weather is my favorite scent ever. Love the cookies!

Love your videos. You're always so organized and give great info!
Omg. I would totally want to hang some small earrings on that tree wallflower as ornaments! Maybe even a delicate chain for garland. So cute. =)
I found a great way to hard boil eggs without an instant pot....use a steamer insert in your pot, fill to just below the insert, boil the water, then put in the eggs, and low boil for exactly 20 minutes. I am from FL and I can vouch that "Oh my God, it's freezing" was my first and only thought when you discussed the temperature lol
Lol! I just finished your "Sick Day" vlogmas and was bummed I had to wait for today's vlogmas, but here you are with today's! Wow! 🤩
I’m in Wisconsin and the winter coat only gets busted out in extreme weather! Hahaha always just a hoodie.
I have made the hash brown recipe for years. So easy and delicious. I have thrown chunks of ham in it too!!
Def going to have to try candy cane cookies

You go girl! I wear my flip flops year round except when theres snow on the ground..
Thanks for that Avery tip! I didn't know.
You are well versed in the Kitchen, Awesome 👏🏾 😍
Learned something new from your video today. I have the exact same stove as you and I never thought to put the grates in the dishwasher. You know i am going to try that. What a great tip, thanks. Love your channel.
That Glade scent is MY FAVORITE EVER. I have to hoard it so I have it later when they stop selling for the season.
Of course you wear flip flops and sweatpants when it is 10 degrees in the Midwest....that is really warm for December! Have an awesome day!
Yay. Love this month !! On break at work . Thank you for your dedication !! Your on point. Love from California 🥰
"It's flip flop weather"! LOL We live in Chicago and you gotta love those heat waves! :)
Felicia Faith when it’s 40 you think it’s a heatwave. I live in the suburbs of Chicago.
I love the Crisco recipe for Chocolate Chip Cookies, it’s the one I always use. My sisters favorite cookie is Peanut Butter Cookies!
Best vlog so far!
Thanks for the baking inspiration! 💕 I really need to get on the ball with that.
Classic Peanut butter cookies are my fav ❤ at Christmas time we make a pb cup cookie line mini muffin tin, roll cookie dough into ball, bake. when they come out push miniature pb cup into middle of cookie.
Omg how good is the Boy? I just started watching it.
Feel better soon Kira 🌈
Here in Utah the winter attire is a hoodie, flip flops and basketball shorts. All. Winter. Long.
You're too funny; love and always look forward to all your vlogs. Keep it up. 😍
It’s been in the low 20’s here in Texas and I head into the next town to pick up my Walmart pickup order at 7:00 a.m. in flip flops, pj’s with a hoodie thrown over them 😳. You just gotta do what you gotta do!
LOL..I can totally relate to flip flop weather. I live in Minnesota and usually just wear a sweater with crocs. 🤣
Crisco has some excellent cookie recipes. The blossom recipe I use that combines Crisco and Jif is the only one I use. I also only use Crisco's recipe for Snickerdoodles. Have you ever made Peanut Butter Chunkies? They use Butterfingers!

Always look forward to your vlogs Jen 🥰🥰🥰
Wonderful tasting peanut butter cookies. We made these when young.
For me, it is USPS that is giving me grief and not delivering. Homemade peanut butter cookies sound amazing. Have a great week.

@@Jen-Chapin ty for a quick response 😇
@@GinaKayLandis ty for sharing that appreciate it.😇
everything about this video is just so gorgeous ♥
Where are the containers from you packed Adam's salads in? I checked your amazon list.
Your cookies look great!
I just watched an 8 minute ad on psoriasis treatment because I love you 😂😂😂
Hannah Mattox lmao!!!!

Great cookies. 🍋 🥑
Sometimes the ones with the kisses are called thumbprints around here in va
From northeast Ohio - it’s always flip flop weather!
Great job as always Jennifer. Fun fact: it seems like cherry limeade is regional. I can't get it at my local Walmarts.
"Flip Flop weather" is a common thing in Oregon.
If you save the empty Hidden Valley bottle and fill it with something else, will C. be able to taste the difference? (Sneaky hacks.lol)
Haha that is a good question! :D
NO WAY! Someone else who knows funeral potatoes!
I never realized I needed a scraper for my stove top until today.
Yes our son.
Invite in Ohio and it always makes me laugh when I'm watching someone in California or like Texas saying 60 degrees is so cold!!
