Definitely more chill in Pereira. Been here loving since 2018 and spend 90% of my time in centro on the weekends. Never a single issue
I was thinking of going there to learn Spanish.

As an expat living in Colombia full-time legally since 2007, 8 years in Pereira I've learned that in living here I needed to blend in and use one's 360-degree sense, and trying to do your business before 7 p.m., damn I almost forgot to answer the main questions, The Pereira women are hot, but beware!

I’m surprised nobody snatched your iPhone while you were walking. I’ve been to pereira at least 7 times and the last thing I would do is walking around el centro w my phone in hand esp an iPhone.

Colombia looks similar to the Philippines, that's Amazing. Although Philippines is an Archipelago so when you go from Island to Island it does have it's differences....

I live 12 mi away in Santa Rosa coffee country I grow coffee here. This is a very safe little city. I go into Pereira often I never have a problem I'm sure there's some bad neighborhoods there, but if you've lived here long enough you know we're not to go.
I've also lived in Medellin, Cali, Bogota, Cucuta, Bucaramanga there's bad neighborhoods in every city you just got to do streetwise. For me the most dangerous places besides the ghettos are where the Americans congregate That's where the money is so that's where the bad guys go.
I’ve been some part of Colombia like Cartagena, Barranquilla, Santa Marta yes too many beautiful ladies there

Rami! We were in Pereira at the same time! I was visiting from bucaramanga. Pereira seems more relaxed and "small town" and less expensive than medellin. I'm assuming the nightlife here is much less than medellin. Centro in pereira seems safer and less crowded than medellin or bucaramanga. The food is cheaper too. Plaza bolivar is a great park in centro. Some women here are quite attractive. There are not many gringo/foreigners here, but bucaramanga has even less. Good/smooth/strong coffee in the fancier cafes. Not much English spoken here. Thanks for the vids bro!

I was in Colombia 2 years past , I prefer Pereira to Medellin , as it was more Columbian and felt safer . Plus had less Tourists . Im a gringo from Canada . I also prefer Barranquilla to Cartagena .
I just came back from there. Did you get to visit the circunvalar. That’s the area to be in. I can agree, it’s safe. Walking with a camera and everything. The people are really kind over there. Very welcoming.
Bad stories outweigh the good stories. It’s too bad it could be a grand tour destination.

Thanks for setting the record straight of the dangers. Was in Medellin for three weeks not one single problem. The people are very friendly and positive filled with great energy. The United States is way more dangerous!

If you play with women online or in the street, or in the park, you have a 50-50 chance of getting drugged and robbed. you need to be down here for a few months and make local friends and that’s how you meet trustworthy women. You are lucky my brother.
three weeks is nothing, don't act like you really know the place. Medellin is dodgy, there is no doubt about that. It's kind of a matter of luck and being street smart plus travel experience and listen to your gut.

Pereira is alright. Some things I loved, some thing I didn’t. The city has a big village mentality. The women are gorgeous but also a bit standoffish because the rest of the country has designated them to be as “easy or facil” which is unfair to be honest. If you have lived in bigger cities in Colombia or North America in general, pereira will eventually start to bore you. Also I found the paisas of Antioquia to be much much friendlier than the people of pereira

Hi Rami. Seriously take the warnings there about openly displaying your cell phone and camera in public!
I had the benefit of traveling to the Eje Cafetero in 2009 for nearly 2 weeks in 2009 since I lived near Miami and got a budget direct flight into Pereira I believe on Spirit Airlines. Proly not the top thing to do for most visitors however I visited a strip club and one of the gals had this thick long horizontal scar on one of her upper arms. I asked her what happened in Spanish and she was in crowded center of Pereira during daylight hours using her smart phone. She resisted when the ladrones first attempted to take it and was slashed seriously.
I love Colombia a lot and miss it however things can turn very ugly very quickly. Even in daylight be careful especially when in crowded close quarter situations.
And she said that was quite common. Have fun however 'Te Cuidate" and situational awareness. My last trips to CO before the pandemic I walked anywhere I wanted within reason in both BOG and MED during the day however stayed in my hotel later at night and only went to restaurants and bars via taxi or Uber (preferred).
That's all i wanna know from this video is it safe there in Columbia in Pereira than Medellin definitely needed a break there for sure it gets too addicting going there all the time but that one said Medellin is safe interesting but i still think there is safe to me since you is there to share it with us great video sharing Pereira loving it

Unfortunately many places in U.S. could really need armed guards these days. 98% of the people Colombia great just stick with them and follow their advice avoid the 2% malas.

what i have observed in all the videos i´ve seen from this channel , that this guy is hunting for camera shots of the girls in the streets , and that almost to obviously and clumsy, so that they feel like observerd and giving them a uncomfortable feel...
