Tosen's fight is one of my favorites in this arc! I love hisagi and komamura not to mention tosen history.
I want to suggest that someone finds the manga chapters for the episodes you're watching, injuries specifically, so that you can see just how gruesome it actually is. They *really* toned it down for the anime. Hiyori was straight up cut in half.
Kubo brought out the body horror quite a bit. Hiyori was pretty fucked up in the manga.

Tosen didn't use his Bankai in this battle, he only used it two times (one is vs Kenpachi, the other one is 110 years ago) in the entire show...lmao...i wish he can use more Bankai....what a wasted.
His bankai is kinda useless tho

It literally deprives the enemy of all senses while inside it, kenpachi being kenpachi just brute forced his way to understanding it's weakness which is making contact with the blade of Suzumushi, otherwise he'd of died and most others would likely die before they realized that the split second Suzumushi slashed/pierced them they could sense the spiritual pressure of who slashed them + Kaname didn't have much respect for Kenpachi which lead him to wanting to toy with him because he seen Kenpachi as nothing more than a monster.
@@No.One.30 what if you'd just step out of the domain that it forms ? Ichigo can pretty much easily escape with his false bankai . You can also use spiritual pressure to detect kaname all shinigami can sense spiritual pressure

@@ikuzo5847 Doesn't Kanames bankai obscure all senses including the ability to sense spiritual pressure? I may be mistaken but otherwise it would be fairly useless
Checked the wiki again, I was correct in that his bankai nullified all senses including the ability to sense spiritual pressure and I also don't think you can just leave the domain even if you could you'd have to be able to find the wall first but with all senses gone you probably would end up running around in a circle or at least at an angle and that would give Kaname more than enough time to kill most.

if u pay attention to the episode where grimmjow beat up ichigo, tosen opens are garganta by hand instead of the way shinigami have to. only hollows can do it by hand so that was foreshadowing

"Theres no way convincing Gin..." turns out of the those 3 gin was the good guy all along. It was a shock when i saw it.
No one ever noticed this but gin won his fight against Ichigo. When he nicked him. All he had to do was release his final command in the series was over. A lot of ppl over looked gin sparring him. Also thinking about gin could have beaten anyone if a 1v1 in the whole series. Barrigan would have been the only in prob yama in bankai(spoiler)
