Bråviken is a bay of the Baltic sea that is located near Norrköping in Östergötland, Sweden. It is an example of a fjard, a drowned shallow glacial valley (per Wikipedia).
Honestly, that first drop alone makes this RMC worth it. That view looks amazing
I said it before and I'll say it again - for some reason RMC's seem to require Infinity to warm up. They keep getting faster and faster and faster all throughout the day. And the difference between a fast RMC ride and a slower one is beyond night and day.
Case in point - I was at Magic Mountain today. My previous rides on Twisted Colossus were on a 50° day last December. I was left wondering what all the hype was. That ride had no bite whatsoever. It ranked towards the bottom of my RMC's
Today. Today was just under 80° and it had been running all day by the time I got to it. Wow. Now I get it. Still no duel but this thing was fantastic. I don't think I've ever had a coaster improve as much as this from one visit to another. Arieforce One is another period I have a ton of experience with that one. In the morning it's fun. By night time it's out of control. This seems to be a pattern with other RMCs in general
Wildfire looks like an amazing coaster in my book and probably the most photogenic coaster
It's one of those coasters where the setting makes it look like the biggest roller coaster in the world, even though it's not even close. (I've heard Shivering Timbers described this way.)
Wildcats Revenge has broken in a lot since you rode it. There is now airtime on that hill towards the end, and the overbank causes you to grey out if it’s running fast enough. It’s worth checking it out again on your way to ride Iron Menace and The Flash.
I rode it last weekend and it melted my face
I’ve also ridden Wildfire and I thought it was a pretty good B&M Looper with a beautiful location.
Stupid af
Looks like an incredible RMC addition
Rode Goliath last weekend and all season not a single jolt or bump still riding great
1:07 The trains sort of look like diesel locomotives… I like it
That’s so cool that you got to experience Wildfire! To me, this is my number one bucketlist RMC! Out of the international coasters, this is the one I need to ride- just for that first half alone
Great video! I enjoyed watching! The name of the bay by Kolmarden zoo is probably on Wikipedia when you look up Kolmarden zoo and read about it.
You pretty much sum it all up on how I feel about this ride. I'm a RMC fan and I had high expectations for this one, and ended up a little, just a bit disappointed with the speed. Just a few more kmph, it would be ranked much higher in my list.
the water ouside of komården is caled bråviken its a bay of the baltic sea
The only RMC topper track coaster I've ridden so far is Goliath and it's as smooth as the smoothest metal coaster I've ridden with the exception of the rise after the 1st drop, (which oddly enough reminds me of Coaster at Playland for the same reason, although being the only reason; I digress). Considering how many coasters you've ridden I think you're kinder to Wildfire than most other enthusiasts. To me Wildfire looks like I'd agree that it's RMC's best topper track coaster. Thanks for posting!
This is so picturesque prob top of a bucket list that is just never going to happen, but cheers to being able to get on it!
7:01 I get how he said it wasn't gonna make it, This gives me flashbacks of when I got to ride the first train of the day on gwazi 😅
Video idea: Best magnetic launches in North America
Maverick #1
@@gavinmp15 TMNT Shellraiser hits way harder
This seems like a pretty fair review. I personally give a lot of extra for setting or theming (seems to add a lot to the experience for me), and this setting looks ridiculous. Glad the ride exists and hopefully I can ride it someday.
Rode this a fortnight ago where temperatures were barely above 0 Celsius all day and the pacing was naturally very off. Managed 20 rides across the day including many night rides with the train to myself and 10 times in the morning without getting off. Zadra still ranks higher, but the best zero g stall I've ridden to date
I knew the Wildfire video was coming! Thank you!
Wildfire is in my top 5 bucket list coasters mostly for the terrain based layout.
bang on! the dead spot reminded of me the Nemesis deadspot, looks like its gonna offer something and its kills the ride. SteVe, IGwazi and Zadra all top it for me, but its easily better then Goliath, Storm chaser and Untamed. id guess Wildfire is a top 7 RMC in the world.
for me its 3 best woodie ive been on, Voyage>Hades360>Wildfire. but i havnt been on Outlaw run or El toro yet.
I'm pretty sure Outlaw Run is running rougher because it runs 50% more days, cycles, riders. It's also 2 years older in a warmer wetter climate.
I'm a INW local. I know my wood.
(Also if you wanted to put in a word for carpentry/construction job at RMC I'd be grateful. Lol)
Woot here before a min. Great vid as always
Defo on my bucket list for 2039-2045.
Looks like the best coaster in Scandinavia!
That flame effect at the end tho🤣👍
Hey! I just am wondering if you ever have fan meet ups??? Because I would love to meet you and discuss coasters!
Great analysis
The issues with RMC trains come from body type. I end up almost standing at the end of all the RMCs that don’t have Gerstlauer trains. I do think the trains on the newer RMCs are better-they have better padding.
I dont like most rmcs because they are all either glass smooth or too short but this one is fantastic. The topper track rides with a bite so it's not boring and the layout feels complete and long!
We really enjoyed Wildfire but it was the second half that stopped us ranking it as high as other RMCs, I feel like the sacrifices in pacing were made for the terrain but as an early RMC they did a fantastic job!
It blows me away you have Outlaw Run that low. Outlaw Run is my #2 woodie after Voyage. That ride blows me away every time I ride it, especially at night. I think its very smooth in the odd rows. Second to back or back are my favorites. Then again you don't like Skyrush and i love that ride too. Glad to see you put Lightning Run up high though. That ride doesn't get the love it deserves.
@TimeWarperr-nq4sb How can a coaster that almost no one talks about be overrated? That doesn't even make sense.
Outlaw Run is also my 2nd favorite woodie behind Voyage, with El Toro in 3rd. I always do odd-numbered rows on Outlaw Run. It may be a little rough still, but I think some people mistakenly think that extreme intensity is roughness. Outlaw Run is very intense, which is what I love most about it.
@@OklahomaCoasterFan Hilarious, El Toro is my #3 as well. My list gets a bit more eclectic after that though. 4) Boardwalk Bullet 5) Hades 360 6) Boulder Dash 7) Mystic Timbers 8) Ravine Flyer II 9) Ghostrider 10) Thunderhead
@@gametime2473 And even crazier, Boardwalk Bullet is also my # 4, neck and neck with Prowler, then Goliath & Hades 360, although Hades would rank higher if it weren't legitimately rough. Next up is more Gravity Groups: Zippin Pippin, then Ravine Flyer II.
@@OklahomaCoasterFan Nice. I haven't been on prowler sadly. It's in one of the only parks I haven't been to. It's just so difficult to get to from NC. Sounds like you have great taste in coasters ;P
Pretty fitting they gave such a sweet name to such a sweet coaster
I feel similar about the second half. It does feature the strongest airtime moment of the ride, after the second inversion, but for the most part it isn’t super punchy.
First half is elite tho, and with that view it’s my No.4 RMC out of 5
If only Cedar fair an rmc was still cool... we need somethin similar at kings island
Airtime thrills could you please rerank every rmc you have rode for 2023?
I heard the parking policy is a bit tricky here. I think I heard that you need to buy a parking pass right away and display it in your car or you’ll get a ticket fine by the time you leave. Your experience?
We took the bus so didn't have to worry about the parking
You can actually get some airtime at the end if you sit in the back of the train😅
i visit kolmården quite often bcs i live in sweden and i have to say that when its cold outside the pacing is very bad but on a hot summer day it runns very fast
I think it looks really cool. Wicked.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
for some reason this ride really reminds me of lightning rod at dollywood idk if its the terrain or the wave turn
i can see that @TimeWarperr-nq4sb
video ideas: ranking coasters added by the kings entertainment company
Not a bad idea, ill look into it
17 rides seems to be a great number to formulate a full opinion on a new RMC. You’re coming back to formulate an opinion on Wildcat’s Revenge when? 😂
This has elements of Outlaw Run. I got to ride it a few weeks back for the first time. My initial reaction was that it was my favorite RMC. I loved the interaction with the woods and the finale. As the day progressed, it settled down under Wildcat’s Revenge and Twisted Timbers. Once the sun went down, it got brutal and uncomfortable. I wouldn’t rank it below Wicked Cyclone because of the greatness of the day rides. But I liked it better than Iron Gwazi and the overrated Steel Revenge.
Buy or Sell: Arizona gets a top 100 coaster by 2035
Wrong vid lol
What is Wildcat's Revenge feet per second?
60.1. new RMC by the numbers coming out next month
Ima cry in the corner rn
Oh damn not enough airtime for you??
RMC is so far ahead of any other manufacturer for me. Ive never been on a RMC that has disappinted.
Is the best RMC woodie.
if only SFGAm splurged for an extra 1000 ft of track on Goliath, it could have been legendary
Agree 100%, Goliath is too short, but a good ride for its length.
Having the credit list for a coaster like this to not even crack your top 30? Can't say I'm not jealous man.
I’d imagine it would crack my top 5 of
1. Red Force
2. Nemesis
3. Shambhala
4. Hulk (the old one)
5. Icon (spinning seat)
Got stapled on every ride of Shambhala leading to only the speed hill having any airtime at all
From what I’ve heard it’s an issue unique to Shambhala’s ride ops
Yes , more Raging Bull props!
Can I get a sub also great vid absolutely love rmc and love your reviews. Thanks for always putting out great videos.
RMC is of course a win. Coming from experience with Twisted Timbers.
Twisted timbers SUCKS. Go ride better coasters than that pile of shit
I still think the super pass will be 600 to 700 dollars
PICKY!
WHAT
Oh they days when raging bull was considered one of if not the worst b&m hyper until ATT voice of reason came along and everyone magically changed their opinion of it 👀
Not me still the worst B&M hyper because it has no airtime and too many forceless gradual turns. I rank it just below diamondback, and I've been on every B&M giga and hyper except for shambhala and the 3 in Asia.
@@TheBolligerMabillardLover I'm with you there. I do like the first drop in the back row, but beyond that, it didn't seem to do much. I have it ranked at the bottom of B&M hypers/gigas, but it's still fun.
@@OklahomaCoasterFanI agree, the drop is decent, the rest of the ride not so much. At least on diamondback the hills on the way out give some airtime depending on what row you're sitting in. That's why I have diamondback just ahead of raging bull at the bottom of my B&M giga/hyper rankings.
When I first started watching coaster videos everyone raved about Diamondback. Now it seems like people poo poo it
@TimeWarperr-nq4sbI love behemoth!
Outlaw run better
Lmao. To compare that little turns to I305 is INSANE. bro how tf do you have these many followers. I305 is GODLY this is the same old rmc. Once you ride one you've ridden all of them lmfao 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
