Consider my faith rewarded! The mighty Shyamalan has concluded his Eastrail 177 trilogy properly, Ladies and Gents. I just recently experienced Glass in IMAX, and it brings me beaming pleasure to report that the film is an astounding triumph. Despite a mixed critical reception, Glass unquestionably lived up to the superb quality of Unbreakable and Split. Please support M. Night this January with your ticket purchase and prepare to feast those peepers on a runaway swing for the fences that doesn't miss its intended mark. Take heed and "rejoice" at the altar of M. Night Shyamalan's career-defining stroke of mastery.
I found this movie to be a colossal disappointment. I really wanted to love this movie had a bad ending and David Dunn is badly written. The reason why the ending is so bad is because it doesn’t feel rewarded. By killing off the main character it makes it feel like the journey they went on in the movie pointless because in the in end the all die in the end. My other disappointment I had with the film is how badly David Dunn’s is written. He doesn’t really have a character ark and is put to the sidelines for most of the movie. He finally comes back to the story in the third act but then dies IN A MUD PUDDLE 😂. This is why I found Glass to be a colossal disappointment
Nominated for what? The Oscars? The Oscars are such a shit-show now-a-days, that giving a worthless Oscar to McAvoy is an insult to his amazing talent.
I Would Like To See A Fourth From The Perspective At The Ending To Glass With The World Now Aware Thanks To Elijah's "Expose The Truth To The World" Plan. Would Be Very Interesting Seeing This Universe Expand A Bit More.
@@333mron lol, i gotta agree. I hope i can go back and enjoy unbreakable the same way after watching this garbage. i swear to god M Night must've had ghost writers, it's inexplicable.
Just watched the movie and I am not saying it's bad but as a huge fan of Night for unbreakable and split...I feel like the glass is only half full and enough wasn't show to appease my appetite for all 3 characters together. It's good but slightly lacking.
There were so many good films in that year, that I almost forgot this existed. Now that I think about, is the best horror of the year, along with IT Chapter 2 and Insidious👌
Tatiana Maslany got nominated and won for her acting roles in Orphan Black Why can't it be the same thing with James McAvoy that's some unfair bs right there.
I agree with this completely aha. Glass got 36% with a rating of 5/10 which i think is outrageous and will hurt the box office for this film. just saw it last night and deserves at least a 7.5-8/10. M night is an incredibly talented writer and director and his use of metaphors, powerful themes, and photography is incredible. His way of telling stories is very unique.
I don't think you understand how rotten tomatoes work. They do it on a percentage of how many reviewers like the film ,within their employee I think, not a normal review
People are always negative about Night films. But I've been waiting for this movie for about nearly 18 years now, so screw the reviews. I can't fucking wait. Next week can't come fast enough!
There are a poop ton of inconsistencies in the story , timeline, and character continuity. To prove my point, (and without giving any of the movie away) Ask yourself, " Why don't the police or security have tasers?(or any weapons for that matter against a known serial killer) Why is there no mourning of the passing characters? " For the discerning/critical thinker, this movie was loaded with flash and glamour. And where was the meta human Hailey Joel Osment, or the Lady in the water..? I guess they were not apart of this particular story arch. Okay..... In short, I really wanted to like it. The concept is solid. The execution ,... not so much. Also,... how is it M. Night Shymalan keeps getting money for movie making, meanwhile I have to slave away .. Life's no fair
@Jadon Mcelroy WOW! You are STUPID! "(and without giving any of the movie away)" then follows it up with giving away the very ending of the film... "Why is there no morning for the passing charectors?" Then... "M. Night Shymalan keeps getting money for movie making, meanwhile I have to slave away .. Life's no fair" - Translation - "I chose what i am. But Im royally butthurt bc his opportunities should've been handed to *ME* for absolutely nothing!" Liberal Crybaby! You could've went to film school. You could've worked your ass off to get to where he is like he did. Yeah he made some crap films in there. But they still turned enough of a profit to justify the studios continuing to support his work. Its not Nights fault your intelligence level never surpassed burger flipping & now you're worried about your future because machines can actually remember to flip the burger without being told too by someone else.
Act I is good, Act II slow af. Act III wtf. Glass is Split 2 with guest appearance from Bruce Willis and Mr. Glass. If you like James McAvoy, go see it. Basically it is more of Split. Many plot holes and inconsistencies. Bad story telling and writing.
This is definitely Elijah’s story. We are kept guessing what is really going on in Elijah’s mind so the monolgues don’t come until the end but one silent close up on Mr Glass when he doesn’t think anyone else is paying attention spoke volumes. SMJ acted the hell out of this film.
If McAvoy is not Oscar nominated next year, Hollywood will feel public hate.

Thanx goodness I saw this in theater. And i’m planning to see his future projects as well. He deserves it.
@x12 417 Agreed.
this film was pretty bad all round
James McAvoy should been nominated for this. I mean 20 different personalities
Nominated for what? The Oscars? The Oscars are such a shit-show now-a-days, that giving a worthless Oscar to McAvoy is an insult to his amazing talent.
he fucking should be but we all know he won't be
This will be one of those movies that is polarizing now but will be regarded as a classic later.
Same with split
split was good, this wasnt

not really, hes pretty bad
Eh
@Pablo Escobar that film almost ruined the show for me
Imagine James not even getting nominated for the Oscars next year. Joke
Pro trick : watch series on kaldroStream. Been using them for watching a lot of movies during the lockdown.

Can’t wait for this. Unbreakable is an underrated film. One of the best of the past couple decades.

I hope some comment from the future will say, "Hey everyone, at last, Oscars are credible again, James got one (at least)".
Subtle, rooted super hero movie we needed, in this over saturated marvel groupie world. Yes!!

Your site gave the Golden Globe winning Bohemian Rhapsody 62%, but the much detested recent series of Doctor Who 92%. Your reviewers are a joke!
It's really baffling isn't it?
Yes, but you see Bohemian raphsody was dreadfully boring.
