    This literally had me in tears. R.I.P Jose Fernandez. I'm a Rangers fan who's still trying to get to know MLB as a whole(other players, stats, etc) so I had really never seen him play, though I did see him at the All Star Game. I then went to look him up and heard his incredible story. I could see he had an electric, contagious smile and a genuine personality. He went way before his time. God bless his family, loved ones and child on the way

      I'm a Rangers fan as well. Before today's game @ Oakland they had a moment of silence in his honor. Marlins aren't even in the American League and we still decided to honor his passing. Just goes to show how close we all really are in the family of baseball.

      Absolutely! We may be separated by teams and leagues but we all have on thing in common: the love of baseball.

    It doesn't matter what fan of what team you are...this is a tragedy. No one deserves to go out this early in their life. I, and I can most likely speak for not only Saint Louis, but for the MLB as a whole, offer my deepest sympathy and respect towards the Fernandez family. Fly high Jose, your light is not extinguished. To small children across, you are their hero. They still have that spark you gave them. Rest well, you need not your glove anymore

      Jays fan... I agree. Its a sad day for baseball. It lost one of its brightest stars, so abruptly. Its heartbreaking knowing that he couldn't get the chance to see his daughter born. He was a great guy off the field too, he would've been a great father.

    I'm still in shock . I look at my news feed this morning and my jaw dropped. Then I'm watching the videos on RUclips and it hits me. I had to step outside my house and take it all in and shed tears. He was a remarkable talent with a hall of fame future. We have lost a young giant who played the game the right way!! My heart goes out to their family and the Marlins Organization. REST IN PARADISE YOUNG MAN YOUR NAME WILL LIVE ON⚾️🙏🏻🇨🇺

    It is sad day in baseball, our deepest condolences from Yankee Universe to the Fernandez family, the Marlins organization and fans, the City of Miami, the Cuban community. • @neilwemyss4616
      @neilwemyss4616 4 года назад

      He got what he deserved because he used cocaine heavily and that was the reason why he crashed and why death took him. You people marter the man and make a hero out of him when he could not handle the fame so he used cocaine and other drug's. To borrow a line from Spidermans uncle Ben With great power comes great responsibility and a long time ago he like so many of these disrespectful athletes today have forgotten that most important lesson. Kobe Bryant rapped a women and he got away with it no prison time no fine just a slap on the wrist so carma intervened and death took him because he deserved it

    • @Grimmes12
      @Grimmes12 4 года назад

      @@neilwemyss4616 smh stop being a man hating white knight, nobody goes out saying that the prostitute or the hoe got what they deserved when they got raped, but here you are throwing Jose Fernandez and Kobe Bryant under the table. It was never proven that Kobe raped anyone shame on you!

    Rip brother, hope the family takes it lightly. It sucks how a young man just passes. Makes me think to stop being a crazy kid. -Dodger fan

    Damn. Didn't know he had a baby on the way. This crushed me. So talented, yet he's gone so soon. Condolences to his family.
