I was always too intimidated to try revenant due to people saying that its the hardest proff to learn, but once I leveled him up it quickly became my main. You can be nearly unkillable in solo open world, soloing even some legendaries and you are also always welcomed in instance content cuz of revs utilities and quickness. Am still dogshit at pvp and WvW but am shit at pvp with any class so its prolly not revenant related issue lmao
Speaking to newer players: revenant is the only profession in gw2 that has both cooldown and resource management based rotation comparable with that of some other popular mmos, so might be the best choice if you are into "classic styled" mmorpg combat. Other specs that come somewhat close to that playstyle are berserker, bladesworn and holosmith, with little less of resource management, and thief profession, which has literaly no cooldowns on weapon skills, but makes u manage resources too. I played my rev for 1500h from my 2k spent in game literaly only because most other specs' rotations consist of following some most optimal rotation script based purely on skill cooldowns, which is boring for me. Necromancers also have resource in form of shroud but its kind of a bait since you only notice having it if you have none of it at all.
Dear friend I'm a revenant renegade main who tried to create an alac ren and then the whole alacrity need in fractals got nerfed. Sword/sword and staff. Full diviners. Can I still play a power renegade with sword sword and staff or am I cooked? Should I change my gear to all berserker?
8:08 you wrote renegade gain access to 2 legends instead of vindicator ^^ Sry! Still love xour video and just proving that i am reading what you are writing!
Great video. I am a bit confused about how to Enhance a legendary skill in a Renegade. For example, Breakrazor's Bastion can be enhanced to provide a barrier effect. How do you enhance that skill? The wiki says about Band Together but it is vague and didn't say anything how would someone know if a skill is enhanced.
Thank you for the comment and in regards to the question, when you activate one of the utility skills for the Kala legend, the next one utility skill will be enhanced, so basically skills from 6 to 9.

Can vindicator work with sword sword?
Sure, but why use swords if you can use that spice GreatSword?
