I wish she got another chance because she and Andrew clearly still love and admire her. Also, despite some foolish acts on her part, she got a bad deal in terms of not being prepared properly for the role she was taking on. The royal family members have clearly made a lot of bad steps on their own.

This interview was approximately taken in 2005. I guess this because she said near the end of the interview that her daughters are 13&15. Well in 2020 (current year) one of her daughters is now 28 and the other is 30.
God, she looks like a movie star in this clip, really stunning!!! I always liked her. The Royal family, too but I have to say it's just ridiculous, she has not spent X-mas with her daughters for 12years as she was not invited to Balmoral, also not getting an invitation to Will & Kate's wedding!!! Pathetic & mean! This woman has suffered enough! She is still Andrews friend and the mother of his children, yet she is treated like an outcast by the Royal family! It's hurtful and not normal.
I agree with you! I blame the Queen! I think the Queen was so upset about Diana's death that she basically banished the one person who reminded her of that time: Sarah, as she couldn't banish Charles. Despite all the nonsense we have had to put up with William, Kate, Harry and Camilla, the Queen can't find it in her heart to forgive Sarah! It shows you just how judgemental the Queen is! Now, that Kate and William have spent Christmas with Kate's family, I expect Beatrice and Eugenie to tell Grandma that they will be spending next Christmas with Sarah to make up for lost time!

Soapwoman.. Ive just seen an old U Tube interview and noted your comment of 8 years ago so forgive me if your now more aware than you were at that time... Its not quite true to say that Sarah Duchess of York has not spent a Christmas with her Daughters... Because HM The Queen and Prince Phillip have made available a cottage on the Royal Estate to Sarah where she and Andrew now stay... It used to be Sarah and the Girls...they stayed together a 3 min car ride from the Big House. I'm not sure why William and Kate didnt want sarah at their wedding...Must be some personal reason because they love the Girls... Beatrice and Eugenia very much ?

Both the Queen and Prince Phillip made a house avaialbe at Christmas to Sarah and the Girls so as she could spend Christmas with them but its true...she was not inculded in the events at the Big House.
Time is a big healer...but you do know Sarah shamed herself and the Royal family not once, not twice, but time and time again...She used up all her 9 lives of good will with that family...
Like i say time is a great healer and things are a little better now.

I always liked Sarah. I loved Diana. I was devastated when Diana was killed. But it is quite enlightening to see Sarah. I have always thought she was extremely beautiful but cheeky and wanted to have fun. Hey there's nothing wrong with that. Who doesn't want to have fun. But when I see her here, not only is she beautiful, but she's classy as well. It's admiring to see that.

Absolutely. She never looked better and ageing seems to have been hard on her. But, looking back, this is the high point for Sarah when she had everything together: financially, physically and the UK press finally gave her a break. Of course, sadly, it wasn't to last.

why doesn't he let her answer the questions first of all, you can't even hear her answers because he's constantly babbling over her, and second of all what the hell kind of question is "why did you get a divorce" ?

The Truth To Sarah's story I feel maybe revealed later but it will show she is tenacious for her family, sacrificing herself publicly and then rise from those ashes on her own.

and Sarah will remain Sarah, Duchess of York. To clarify further, Sarah's title literally means Sarah, [formerly/previously] Duchess of York and uses the style of the divorced wife of a peeer. Note: There is NO definite article in her style which means that she is not THE Duchess of York she was ONCE a Duchess of York.

Well, this interview is old.It was made 15 years ago...
Why can't this bloody woman just answer a straight forward question. He is trying to get to the bottom of why things didn't work out and what rules she didn't follow, and she answers him by talking about how wonderful the monarchy are to try and dodge the question. Then says how tricky these questions are. One thing i've noticed about her is that she is very defensive in her interviews and doesn't trust the interviewers easily. Like for example when the Australian interviewer asked her questions and she started defending herself against him and walked off. He just sat there in shock. She's quite happy to come on and talk about what she wants to talk about, but as soon as anyone asks her questions about her past downfalls, or anything relating to the prince andrew stunt she pulled, she immediately gets defensive. She comes across as weary of those who ask her questions. This comes across in quite a few of her interviews or guest appearences on shows.
She sounds more humble and appreciative of her husband x marriage here than she was when she was married. I hope her husband x get remarry again. Everyone makes mistakes. She deserves a second chance

I agree completely. Its so blatantly obvious the Royal Family would have been mortififed had DIana married a muslim, or whatever Dodi was. I believe that either the car was tampered with; Henri Paul was in on something or else the blinding flash of light from a car blinded Henry. Its also interesting to note that the alleged "driver of the white fiat punto", whatever about the make of car is irrelivant, hanged himself weeks after the crash in his back garden....how odd.

324 wilson well said on all counts. All said the Duchess knows her mistakes, and there was a few over the top. Even with the faults she did add to the Monarchy as did The Princess of Wales and others in the past , as well as those to come into the future. Monarchy can not nor should not ever be easy. It must grow, make mistakes, do thing rights , and mainly please everyone and no one at the same time. This is the price of our Canadian Constitution with in the Commonwealth. a price worth paying

I would just like to clarify right now that sarah ferguson is only now and since her divorce referred to and entitled to be known as Sarah, Duchess of York. She is NOT HRH The Duchess of York or The Duchess of York as that is the title reserved for the wife of the Duke of York and no other person. If Prince Andrew remarries that woman will become HRH The Duchess of York
