I would recommend using ravelry to document your stash. That way you can have the exact details of weight yardage dedicated project yarn etc. It helps a lot with not loosing oversight of all the yarn you currently own. 😊
I really should 🙈 I'm basically using a Notion database to do that (I always add the total amount of yardage I have etc) but doing it in Ravelry as well would make things easier for sure! It's on my list of things to do 😊
@nestledinknits you should! it also helps with knowing if you have the correct yarn for a pattern. (Assuming you get some of your patterns from ravelry)
